IVE BEEN WANTING TO DO THAT FOR AS LONG AS I CAN REMEMBER!!NOT ONLY THAT BUT YOU CAN DRAG A TAB OFF TO BE BY ITSELF!! AND THE PAGE LITERALLY STAYS ATTACHED TO THE TAB ITSELF WHILE YOUR DRAGGING IT!
Anyways, on to the rest of it. It takes a little getting used to if youve used 8 for so long but I think it could grow on me. The File, Edit, Tools, etc. buttons of the command bar have been shortened to Page, Safety, and Tools. Nothing else just those three. There are a few other icons there for Home, Feeds, Read Mail, Print, and Help. Tabs are now to the right of the address bar and the refresh and stop buttons and toolbars are how they useually are.
Basically its all been streamlined and made so that the upper area takes up less room. The motto (I guess you could call it) is, "Your websites shine. The new design puts the focus on your websites." And then there is the expected stuff like it being a little faster and safer.
