I'm sooo sorry Minerva! That must be so terrible and I wish your grandparents good luck and I really hope the treatment helps them and I know it'll be rough for you and definitely them. sad I really don't know what I'd do if I lost my Nana or Grandpa {I'm not extremely close with my new found Grandfater}. They've always been in my life and, ugh, I know it will come one day but it's going to be an extremely horrible time.
Nice to see a new member. smile It doesn't seem Hufflepuff ever gets any new members haha. Maybe they're too afraid to post? razz
Hope you're all doing good, I'm typing up an essay so thank god that will be over with.
And again, nice to see you back Sofa and you too Miakitty!!

Hello everyone! I'm so sorry I havent been on recently. I went home for christmas and found out some very, very good news. 1.) is that my grandpa finally came home for the holiday's but he still has alot wrong with him and they only give him 6-8months left before he passes. 2.) is that we just found out we were pregnant. We are due Aug18 so far (which is my dad's birthday) and have an ultra sound on the 15Jan. I'm hoping the due date will be pushed back farther than the 18Aug cause my husband doesnt get back from deployment until 17Aug. So it kinda sucks that way. But we will manage. 3.) I wont be on for a while starting on the 17Jan cause my husband is taking the laptop with him on deployment and I wont be able to get one until at least the middle of feb maybe early march. So I'm very sorry to say that. Love y'all and sorry I havent been on for a while.

Well congratulations Slytherin on the baby, I'm sorry for your grandfather, and tell your husband good luck on deployment. I leave for boot camp in 8 days. I have one of my friends counting down the days. Each day she wakes me with a text telling me how many days until I leave. This morning I told her it seems like she wants to get rid of me. *Sigh* Running a guild and knowing you'll have to leave it for 3 months is hard because you love it and don't know which of your crew members can handle which tasks. I'm also really afraid things will fall completely apart because the guild is suffering now and I'm the one that has to catch everything. I sent Suze an appology owl because it took near 2 weeks for her to get her profile accepted. It's usually me that has to hold things together and I'm just worried becausse I love the guild and I don't want it to fall apart. I have a great crew, but sometimes they just seem to not care or they forget what they are supposed to be doing. I'm not even the one in charge of accepting profiles. Granted I slip on some of the things I'm supposed to be doing, but sometimes it just seems like so much and when I have to cover for everything else I can't help it. Plus I'm busy getting ready for boot camp. Sorry to vent on you guys. I'll be shutting up now.

Thank you lily. We are very excited about the baby. Its okay about my grandfather, its his time and at least he can spend his last few months with the ones he loves and that love him right. Yeah I'm not extremely worried about my husband going on deployment he's navy and the most he will be doing is drug ops, and if they find a bout he gets to get in a bullet proof vest helmet and hold a big gun. I know god will protect him. As for your friend maybe she's counting down the days till you leave cuz it just hasnt clicked to her yet. Or so that once that day come she can start counting down the days till you come home. I was in navy boot camp and I thought it was easy. Even tho it is alot easier than Marine boot camp. My advice to you is just do what they say and do it fast and with precision. You will be fine just keep your chin up and stay positive. You will be in my prayers if that helps you get by =D but I have faith that you'll do good and that you'll pull throu it! One more note, my first Ultra sound is in 10days! I'm super excited and cant wait to hear the heartbeat and see the baby for the first time!

Congrats, Slytherin! I know it'll be a few months before you know the gender of the baby, but do you have a guess? Doctors give people a few months to live frequently, and they sometimes live for four years, so try to stay positive! smile (Trust me, I know's it isn't easy.)
Lily, you're leaving so soon? We'll miss you! sad

Yes I have a feeling its a boy. Just have had odd dreams about it, and the baby is always a boy. Even the god father has dreamt of it as a boy. But we wont know for like 12more wks sad Sorry to say but i dont understand the last part of your statement. Bout doctors giving people a few months or whatever. Sorry but I'm not sure I understand that unless your refering to my grandpa.

Hahaha thanks Slytherin. And she's not coundting down because it hasn't clicked. She leave for Nation Gaurd boot camp February 3rd and she's jealous. She told me that day I told her it seemed like she was trying to get rid of me. I'm really excited and I plan on giving it my best go. I'm really competive, I'm full of energy that makes others dizzy just watching me, I refuse to give up, an I learn fast. Hopefully all of that will help make up for how many times I make an idiot of myself falling on my face.
And yes Min, Sunday is the last day I can get on until after Easter or so. Really excited, but I can't help the nerves. I get really nervous just before the start of a new school term so this is plain torture. It's better when I have something to stay busy with, but the computer doesn't count as staying busy. It's just a mind numbing way to spend time. Everyone is so confident I'll do well. (Besides my father that is. He's hoping I'll flunk out.) I just hope I can do as well as they think I will. I'll shoot for an honor grad to show my dad I can do it, but I don't think I'm that good. Either way shooting that high will gaurantee me a graduation. Honor grad or not.

Slytherin, Alli is right; baby names are fun! whee Do you think you'll name it after the father since you have a feeling that it's a boy? Yes, the second part of my statement was about your grandpa.
Lily, even though it'll be slighty emptier in the Great Hall without you, I'm glad that you're looking forward to it!

Wow Slytherin! Congrats on the pregnancy! That must be so exciting even though your husband won't be around for some of it. sad I really hope your pregnancy goes great! Also, I think she meant that referring to your grandfather, that doctors can say you only have 2 months to live and you could live for another 2 years. It's always only a guess with how bad their cancer is and how they think it will progress.
Hope you're all doing good, I was just popping in for a moment. Last night I went to a throat doctor {for my tonsils} and he had to stick this long tube camera up my nose to look down my throat! It hurt so much and makes your eyes water really bad. So what he decided was that I have an infection in my tonsils which supposedly is very common and it's really nothing to worry about unless it keeps bothering me for awhile longer and I want to get them removed.

Grey, I hope that you don't need to get your tonsils removed. It's a common procedure and you don't need to have them, but I still would prefer to not have a surgery, and you probably feel the same way.
Never Forget - A Marauders' Era Role Play that Suze and I designed here at the Haven has its own guild now (courtesy of Lelandra) and is still seeking LOADS of members to fill the roles of characters, including Snape and many other students and teachers, so if you're interested please don't hesitate to check out the RP! razz

Thanks guys. I'm just getting really nervous. It's kind of funny actually. Well it would be if I wasn't prone to crying but I have a feeling I won't be able to stop crying and freaking out until I actually leave. Good luck Grey, I had my tonsils out when I was in Elementary school and I hear it's worse when you're older so I hope you don't have to. My Roommate from last semester just had hers out over the break.
