"Oh, no, you don't have to do that," Ana said, light eyes widening. "I'm sure you have all sorts of things to be doing today and you don't need to do my work as well!"
Actually, she had no idea what Dragon Knights did when they were not out on missions. It must be something important, though. After all, they were very high ranking...
"Besides," she explained further, "I like cleaning." Ana looked around the room, taking in the details of the mess. "I'll try not to move your books, though," she added, unhooking her feather duster from where it hung at her waist.

"Well...Actually not so much for today..."She said, thinking about it. Really, all she was supposed to be doing was general training, and looking up more information on that necklace...
When the other girl mentioned the books, Celia actually felt kind of bad, "Well, they're just sort of all over, so..." She didn't want to make the work any harder for Ana to finish, honestly now feeling as though she had made a rather large problematic job of cleaning.

Ana smiled, already busily at work. "No, it's fine. It's my job, after all." She adjusted a teetering stack of books. "I can wash the cups, too. You don't need to do that." Honestly, she liked her job. There was something mechanical and soothing about the repetitious movement and the (daily) challenges added a little spice. The overall uniformity was comforting, however, and that was something that Ana greatly appreciated. And if you were busy cleaning you were not expected to socialize with strangers...
Talking to Celia felt different, though. Ana could already tell, just by their brief conversation, that they both had a lot in common even beyond their shared shyness. "...We can keep talking, though, if you have nothing else to do..."
((...Cut here? After your post? Or is there something else you wanted to get in?))

Celia shrugged a little, already starting to wash the cups: She felt bad, and thought she should at least do SOMETHING. Her foster mother always used to tell her that everyone should help out, but ever since comming to the dragon castle, she really hadn't been allowed to help out much...Washing the dishes was the least she could do.
"I think that would be nice,"The knight replied, wanting very much to continue the conversation. Ana was extreemly easy to talk to.
((I'm good with that.))

Micoi nodded at the officer and offering an as bright smile as she could for being recently awoken. She knew that replying with a "and I'm Micoi" would be stupid. The other knew perfectly well who she was. How irritating. Everybody knew who she was but not the other way around it seemed. The young dragon blinked once, stopping as Kushina held open the door and the bread towards her.
Blink, blink.
"Yes, please," she finally replied, taking the food and began munching on it. "You think Neith would really try to stop us if she found out?"

A small sigh fell from softly pink lips, the person in question took the lower, plump bit of flesh into their mouth and chewed on it slightly. Could it get any better than this?, they questioned themselves as they cast a critical eye in the mirror. They had to give the right impression, after all. Not too much of that yet not too... how to put it? A sweet giggle left the person's mouth. It didn't matter how they should describe it!
Ooh, this was going to be fun!
"Micoi, my child, my dearest sweetheart, what parent would not worry about their child when they go so far away?" Kanak asked where he stood leaning on one of the tall posts of the Dragon Queen-to-be's canopy bed. The girl in question was sitting on the bed, having been awoken in the middle of the night by her... "nightly guest". That grin of his never boded well... but she always had such a hard time resisting it too because it always brought someting fun along.
Walking down the hallway, the girl smiled at the very few people she met. If her clothes of choice raised any eyebrows, they were smart enough not to mention it out loud. Would have been too precious if they did though. Heheh. The dress was ankle long, oh yes it was, but at the same time not. The outer dress was off the shoulders and with big sleeves that closed tightly around her wrists. The skirt was long, as said, reaching all the way down to her boot clad feet but the whole thing was in a hazy, shimmering cloth, making it sparkle softly whenever it caught a particularly nice light, glinting like diamonds or stars. Of course, she wasn't naked either. Beneath the transparent dress, which had a hip high vent on both sides by the way, she wore a sleeveless, tight-fitted, violet dress that went no further than to about, say... half the thigh? Or a little less perhaps? She wasn't sure. Of course, for decendy, the under dress did have a high collar... but that did very little when the whole thing almost sat like a second skin on her body, not hiding much of any curve to the world in general.
A soft heel, no higher than two or three inches, clicked gently on the marble floor as she walked. Now where to start... Oh, what choices she had!

Reyn winced, rubbing his upper arm as he walked through the hallway to the large messhall. Damnit. He really had not been paying attention this morning and that had gotten him a nice beating.
He cast a brief glance around him. No, it did not look like Baran was back yet. Pity. Maybe he was already getting something to eat.
Reyn exhaled in a short irrirated snort of air, wiping intermingled dirt and sweat from his brown and black bangs. He had been in a poor mood since the previous night, and he did not want to think about why.
"...Just need a damn--" his voice cut short as the Queen-to-be came into view.
Now that was starting to make up for it.

((XDD Kami, tell me! What did he need? *loves*))
Walking calmly, and with a certain grace in her step, one could almost have interprented it as if she was sashaying but as always and with everything in life, it was all about personal opinion. Blinking once, eyes of molten gold floated back towards what they had thought they saw when lazily glancing around. Yes, why yes indeed, they had not been mistaken.
There he stood, the poor little boy whom the Queen-to-be had bested in a small practice battle; Reyn. A smile slowly spread over her sweet lips, never really becoming a grin but nor transforming into a smirk either. It lay there somewhere in between in the balance, forming a rather perfect, semi-daring smile with just a hint of "would you please come over here" but little enough to miss it if you didn't look for it.
Walking towards the fighter, he was standing still, she noted, the Queen-to-be smiled. "Reyn," she greeted, at last parting her lips in a small grin that could just as well be seen as a small, cat-like smile instead. "How are you this fair morning?"

"I'm fine, like always," Reyn answered with a cocky grin. "Yourself, my lady?" He ducked into a bow, taking the opportunity to give her a subtle once-over. It was a neat little trick he had learned sometime after coming to the castle. (It was the overabundance of maids.)
A little nagging part of his brain continued to tug at him, but he squashed it. There would be plenty of time to feel sour later. Life was giving him a wonderful moment and he should take it.

"Just splendid," she smiled at him, lowering her head some in response to his bow. "A good night's sleep was just what I needed. Are you headed for breakfast?" she asked, tilting her head to the side in question.

Reyn straighted up. "Yes. You're not eating with us, are you?" He gave a short, slightly bitter laugh, unable to completely hide it. "Of course not, Princess. You're not expected to sit with the likes of me." The smile stayed put, though his dark eyes flashed momentarily.

"I'm not?" she asked, blinking sweetly that gave you the feeling she didn't really care for the answer... she would do it anyway. Then her smile widened. "Do keep calling me that though. Kanak always did," she explained with a smile. "But let's see, if I cannot sit with you... can I sit on you in that case?" she asked, tilting her head and wearing a smile that almost seemed to hold a suggestive tint.

Reyn flushed. Normally this sort of comment would not get to him. He was not embarrassed, actually, simply not in the proper frame of mind for this sort of playfully condescending banter.
"Stop it," he growled, features hardening. "I don't need someone to talk down to me. It's not like I don't get that sort of s**t already." Pushing past her with a surpressed violence, Reyn strode angrily into the dining hall and out of sight.

((SIS! Important! XDD Look ONLY to the FIRST Micoi post on this page.))
She blinked once, a bit surprised, then pouted slightly. Touchy, eh? She would have to "remember" to go to him later and make up for it, since she hadn't meant it like that. However, it was no point in going after and pestering the kid now, she knew. It would not sit well with neither him nor her appearance.
Heaving a low but long sigh, the young woman raked a slender hand through her forelocks, the rest of her extremely long, ice azure hair was in a braid though, dotted here and there by pearls that were all really attached to a long thread interwoven in the braid. What now then? she asked herself, letting her eyes sweep over the corridor. Then there came a light, and with the light came an idea and following that did a grin. Of course, the heart, or core, of the... "problem", or situation or whatever you wanted to call it. Now... where could he be? His office? This early? Smooth brow crinkled for a second. A shrug and a silent "why not?" later and she was sauntering down the hall.
Dragon Lord.
