[She flicked her tail in a signal for Joypaw to come over, then Birsong turned to Larkcry.]
"Whenever you're ready, my dear," Birdsong mewed.

[Falconstrike said shortly to Mapleleaf as he turned around, padding away from the group of cats that had gathered. No need to stress over the life of an apprentice, if it meant that so many cats were fearing for her life. He was just close enough to hear Joypaw meowing to her friend, and Falconstrike could only just hold back a snort of disgust.]
Stupid apprentice, if Oakpaw can hear you then she'll be fine...and of course she'll answer you instead of just moving her tail, mouse-brain!

[Icemane crouched and slowly stalked a mouse hidden in the slight shrubbery. Once it was in leaping distance, he crouched and leaped with precision, though barely, catching the mouse and making the kill. He looked at Frostclaw.] "Nice catch! About ready to head back?" [ Icemane swiveled his head around and gazed at the area. ' Quite pretty really...'] You desire to know the art of living, my friend?

[Frostclaw turned and looked at Icemane in disbelief. They had only just started hunting. One mouse and one rabbit wouldn't feed a whole clan.]
"Don't tell me you're tired already." [Frostclaw scoffed. She lashed her tail back and forth challengingly. A true warrior would bring at least three pieces of prey back to camp. That way they not only atoned for what they would eat but also feed two others.] It is contained in one phrase: make use of suffering.

"One moment, Birdsong." Larkcry mumbled. She looked around, trying to gather the spare cats in her mind. Falconstrike, Mapleleaf, Embergaze. Oh, it's probably a good idea to let Embergaze stay here. With Oakpaw. Most cats were sitting around camp, some in shock. Too much turmoil. Too much to be done. Time to take charge Larkcry. A surge of courage rushed through her, swelling, bubbling up from her paws. There is too much to be done than to be moping around camp. Falconstrike," She addressed the elder warrior. " Please take an available cat and patrol the NightClan border. I have a feeling they're up to something. Remark the scent line as needed." Her bold voice rang through the clearing. Turning to face Jaywing, she mewed, "Jaywing, if you wouldn't mind taking Saltpaw hunting, that'd be helpful. You have taught her basic hunting techniques, haven't you?" Not waiting for an answer, she swiveled to look at Stormtail, Eaglewind, and Pepperpaw. "Eaglewind, could you take Pepperpaw to the SeaClan border? Please refresh the scentline. Stormtail, go ahead and tag along with any group." Her voice finally wavered, ending her wave of bravery. "Let's go to the StormClan border to hunt, Birdsong. We might as well remark it while we're there."

 __________________[Wavepelt and Serpent came forth from the woods, their mouths stuffed full of mice. (22 all together) They placed them on the food pile. Serpent stretched her long, lanky body and yawned. she was tired after their long hunt. she coiled in the shadow of her favorite tree to rest.]

Wavepelt laid down his mice and then went over to Serpent. He layed down next to her, purring I still can't believe I told her that!

((yepyep! Sorry i haven't posted much....i'm working long and hard to complete the big "Breezeclan forums AMV" thing. I have about 1 minute of it finished and the song is 2 minutes 30 seconds. It's slowly coming along, and i figure if i spend less time on gaia i can get it done faster and all. I won't be on much next week and this coming saturday, i will be at Summer camp, teaching my fellow apprentices with my amigo, Sandstorm~ I'll make sure to post some things now. Oh, and i made a little speedpaint for y'all! "So long, spadepaw!" speedpaint, dun worry spadepaw doesn't die. razz That's all folks. Oh, and juneangel, welcome back! finally i don't have to rp with myself. |D ))

Even after my mirror's been shattered... Dicepaw+++++++++++++++++++++++++ [Dicepaw looked at Spadepaw as she was lead to the elder's den. She let out a tiny hiss as her pelt brushed her sister's spotted pelt, and recoiled with her pelt bristling.]
"I can very well do it myself, Spadepaw."
[She growled a bit with her tone.]
A whole moon of waiting to be a warrior?! Just for trying to make Joypaw feel like she had someone on her side! One day...that thunderpath will be run across....and not by me, no. I will succeed Spadepaw, if it's the last thing i do!
[She thought darkly to herself as she started clearing out the elder's den.]
At this point...she'll become a warrior before i'm even halfways done with my apprenticeship! Now galestar's believing that Cometstream's stable again....Bah! She'll never be stable after her little outburst! That Galestar better not think she still gets to mentor me.
[She tried her best to clear her mind and start from the blank slate that was left of her mind. Spadepaw needed to be taken care of, and quickly, preferably. She flattened her ears to her head as Redpoppy and the other elders droned on about how stupid and foolish apprentices were in the present day.]
...I still see the reflection.
