Monty still looked at his books. His long red hair was pushed over his shoulder. "You may have a chance to live. Gambler is a fair and respected boss. Me? I'm unfair and would soon have my way in killing you. I'd be surprised if no one else in that house suspects you." He said, his deep voice slightly muffled by being behind the book.

the wolf sat staring at the sky. " they all suspect something as well as you. even gambler is being cautious. But were you all not held at a distance before becoming comrades? the barrier median is a natural thing for most people. Some it is stronger others it is weaker. depends on there past."
( he talked alot in this post so i dident want to blind you with the bright blue lol )

"I was never at a distance. I was supposed to kill a very powerful seraph who just happened to make me fall with her and her comrades. I lost my position as general and future position as ruler of hell. I do hope you know that I'm going to tell Gambler what you are. Not that she'll believe me anyways." He muttered the last part to himself.

Kalore raised a brow, "I would if he wouldn't murder me once he was up... and he'd be rested enough to do that, Gambler..." Eldin was in thought for a moment and spoke to Kalore. "Hey...how long is planning on staying here?" The blond sighed. "Not long probably."

Gambler shook her head. "Fold. Deal again Joker." She said and then looked up at the two elfs. "If your not staying long then you guys have to let give you some parting gifts. But, I'll give those to you after I beat Joker." She looked at them with a warm smile but turned her devilish gaze on Joker.
He flinched as she looked at him and was beginning to shake. He twitched and was sweating with nerves. He dealed the cards and almost looked relieved to have really good cards. Again, Gambler knew a thing or two about poker and well she liked her cards as well. She liked them alot. She pointed at Kalore and Eldin. "I'm putting in those two to bet with." Joker nodded and put down his suitcase and a few hundred dollar bills. "Check." He said. "This isn't chess dear. But if you want to play with that then we can." Joker nodded he was really good at that game. Joker placed all his chips and money in. Gambler nodded and counted off her twins and Rave, she even threw in Wolfie to bet with. Joker placed down his cards of a full house. Gambler looked at him wide eyed while he smirked in victory. The boss shook her head. Putting down he cards she had an royal flush but in spades. Joker paled, shoulders sagged. Gambler won the ulitmate of items. Joker had a lot of treasures with jewels on them. Gambler chuckled.

Lisan walked out to the front leaning next to the girl against the wall. "how is the wolf doing?" She turned giving him a curious look. " Hes gathering some interesting information.... Bur they are suspicious." - " of course they are wouldn't you be?" - " you know we would of killed it by now. they don't seem to be all one group. more or less two small ones." She pulled back her hair with no effect due to how short it was. Ash's mid had already split into the separated minds. Not only would he have a hard transition back into his one self. The wolf was questioning itself. "I'll have to pull the wolf soon....... and in a day or so they should disperse around the city." - " Good good..... well get things started then." Lisan walked back in with a smile on his face as two of the workers started hanging a florescent sign out front. she looked up at the sign with a bit of a crooked smile. Sheogorath's Keep eh? He shure does have a wicked sense of humor.

"Sir!" Talon was walking out of the room, but Kai and James held him down. "Boss...you can't go out there yet..." "I gotta find Dusk, damnitt now let me go! That's an order!" Both had no choice and then looked at him, sad. "You'll get hurt again..." Talon shook his head and grabbed his trench. "I'll be back." Before anyone could stop him, the pyro was on his way to the law firm where he just knew Dusk would be at.
Both elves shook their heads. "No no...there's no need for gifts....we don't know when we're leaving." Kalore spoke now, "Besides...not long for us is anywhere from a few minutes to a couple decades...we don't know, but we know that we won't be here permanently...unless Rave and you start getting along more..." Both looked nervous there. It wasn't that the dark haired elf didn't handle people well. No, it was just that at the moment, he didn't have to deal with that on top of all these other things that were going on. And they both knew that, even if the others didn't.

Gambler rolled her eyes and stood up. She went into the cabinets and took out a brown bag. She looked in and counted three of everything for the elfs should they leave. Not like she would let them go without a fight but she didn't hold people against their will neither. If God couldn't, then she couldn't either. "Nonesense. I should give you guys something now before you decide to leave because I may not get a chance to." She said taking out a few necklaces that had herbs or something on it. "Here, rosemary, sage, lavender and a tooth. To guard against evil forces like Monty and demon dogs." She placed the long necklaces around each of their necks. "Then for christmas each of you get a precious jewel." She handed Kalore a emerald and Eldin a rudy. "Me and Rave do get along. This is how we get along." She said stepping away and going to Rave.
She looked him up and down with a small smile. Yeah they did get along. If only she could shove her foot up where the sun doesn't shine so that he could then things would be nice. "Here you go Rave. Don't think I forgot about you." She placed the same necklace around his neck. "And for christmas you get this." Instead of giving him a gem she gave him a piece of coal. "Now, go to sleep so the tooth fairy can give you something special. Oh! And the Easter Bunny too." She winked but her tone suggested dry sarcasum. Gambler was going to burn in hell for this. 'I think I prefer hell than Rave ripping out my tongue. That would be depressing if he did.' Inwardly she sighed. "If it helps you sleep better, I'll leave." She said over her shoulder. She was beginning to feel restless now so that might be a good idea plus she really didn't want to piss Rave off. 'That would be the last thing I want from him. No. He should be in peace.'

"What's all this for?" Rave looked at her, raised brow. He didn't comment on the coal, not wanting to deal with it. "It's not Christmas or any of that... and you don't have to go, I'm awake now." "You shouldn't be though!" Rave smirked as Kalore yelled at him. "You wanna try and knock me out again or do you want me to bruise you more?" Kalore didn't yell back but grumbled as he held his hurt arm. "b*****d..." But Rave looked at Gambler, again his brow raised. "Again..what's all this for?"
Walking over he took up his coat, finishing his normal gear. The man looked deadly.

One of the twins gave her their jacket. Gambler took it with a thank you and put if on. "That necklace is to ward away evil, like Monty and demon dogs. I gave one to each of you. So, should you decide to leave I gave you something to protect you. Besides, I'm feeling restless again. So, I'll be out in the clubs maybe." She looked at the kitchen door. Taking a deep breath she yelled, "Wolfie!!! I'm going out to the clubs!!! Don't wait up for me!!!" She looked at the twins and said something to them in russian and turned to walk to the door. "Oh and the coal is your christmas present. Since you've been a very naughty boy that's what you get." She said in a humorous tone.

Lisan walked through his soon to be club. the bottom floor was nearly finished just the bar was left unstocked. the second floor was half done and the third was last on the agenda. each floor fit the same theme of an asylum. The first was set up like a mess hall though unlike the asylums you might seen in the world this one was dark and exaggerated in an attempt in twisted humor. "cells" lined the wall in the back. Each one with its own wrap around booth with a dingy padded cell theme.
The second floor was a balcony looking over the first with a second dance area and some seating with a twisted them to it. Reflecting an insane mans view. the third flood was ment to be reserved for VIP and Lisan's office.

Rave raised a brow, a smirk at his lips, "And how have I been naughty? I think that I've been behaving quite well..." Kalore looked at the others and sighed. "Go to the club with her please..." Rave raised a brow. "Not dressed for a club." Kalore grinned, "I've been wanting to do this for years..." Quickly, Kalore undressed Rave to where he was just in his black pants and shoes. Walking over to the closet, he found a black shirt that would show off Rave's body and handed it to him. "Put that on...I don't want you out there alone..." Glaring at Kalore, Rave just stood there. "You're annoying..."
Eldin poked his head in to see his boss and crush in just a pair of pants, the man's arms crossed over his strong chest. The boy thought that he would melt.

Gambler shook her finger at Rave. "Santa Claus can't tell you such things. You should know naughty boy." She said. When Kalore took off Rave's cloth and just leaving his pants and shoes she almost had a nose bleed. 'Damn. God you did it again with making a perfect specimen.' She admire. Though she would never touch or pursue. That was a challenge that she couldn't overcome. She opened the door to take in some fresh air. "If your coming put the shirt on or else you get no entry. Even I can't get you in like that. Plus you wouldn't want to kill all the women in the world. That wouldn't be very nice of you since my guys like women." She teased.

as lisan got to the top of the stairs he kicked the two half bloods. After a few slow moments they both shot up on their feet realizing it was Lisan who had woken them up. " go relieve her at the front door. your both my new door men." They both grinned at eachother and hurried down the stairs. one alone could easly fill a door frame but together they made an intimidating scene.
Serand let out a deep sigh as he hopped back down the fire escape "guess i should go back. well be opening by the time i get there. "

Rave raised a brow as he put on the shirt, the fabric stretching over his muscles. Following Gambler, he put on a choker that Kalore practically strangled him with, "Kill the women? Huh?" Man... this boy really didn't understand how hot he was... Kalore and Eldin looked at Rave, very much impressed. "You should dress like that more..." The younger boy nodded, "Mmhmm..."
