Well I'm not completely turning it down, but Pad may not be enough to intimidate Calamar to fight. It's stated however that it sees itself as more of a Hollow than the tenth Espada.
In a way Calamar is setting up a power structure within it's own head.
Oh, and I have to say this... writing a third person story about a creature with no gender is a bit challenging. Referring to Calamar as an 'it' rather than a 'he' or a 'she'.

I understand Calmar's plight completely.
I play a genderless Shinigami too.

What race is your Shinigami, and how are 'they' genderless?

Part Doll, Part Human.
The doll is female whereas the child within it is male, I'm amazed considering things now that I managed to get this past them.

Huh, well that's cool.
I have to say this, because it's been on my mind ever since I got back into the guild:
I love the way Las Noches is being run, after I left I was worried it'd loose direction and activity, but seeing how both Jes and Temor jumped into the seats so quickly and efficiently things are running really good, if not better when I was in charge.
It is also agreed that Las Noches should have two equal "powered" leaders because the members of this particular "squad" are normally Captain or Lieutenant/3rd Seat class strength. Watching everybody was impossible and very exhausting.
So, I suppose what I'm trying to say is; "You two are doing a stunning job!"
