Amaranth smiled weakly to her as she went off. She knew Rachel would help keep things in order.
Readying herself, she flew into the air and soared towards the mouth of the cave.

Melody thought for a moment "I can try.." she said after a while "I think i can.. though it will be less strong.." she said slowly, waiting for Durithill's respond.

It was like if you had a wound that needed to be sealed up. If you had no magic, then the next best thing was stiches and bandages, which still helped it heal a lot faster than if it was just left alone. Not that Durithill was expecting to recieve any wounds that would need stiching, of course. Melody's body was his body for the time being, so anything that happened to her also happened to him, and while he may have been evil he wasn't a glutton for pain. Although he could suffer quite a bit of it, he prefered not to feel any in the first place.
"Give me full control of your body except for your left arm and whatever else you need to play." Durithill said, seeming to grow slightly impatient as the time passed. "I need full control in order to fight the best I can. "f..fine!" she said with a little of hesist, she gave him full controll exapt from her mouth and left arm "Please dont hurt to ment people.. i cant stand seeing people dying infront of me.." she admited.

____☾ When the finger points to the yonder мσση ☽_←━━━━━━━━━━━━ ━━━ ━ ━ ⊱ ✩⊰ ╜ When Melody suddenly relinquished control to Durithill, it was like a huge weight had been lifted. It felt like he was suddenly a lot lighter than he had been before, and he could breath, smell, fell, and see again. Of course it was through Melody's senses, but now that he was in full control it felt almost like they were his. "Ya, ya, don't worry. I'll try to kill 'em quick so they don't feel it." Durithill replied to Melody, mentally since he didn't have control of her mouth. After all, she still needed that to cast her spells, so he was alright with not using it. Besides, he didn't really need a mouth in combat anyway.
For a few moments after gaining control, Durithill stood there just flexing various muscles, jumping, stretching, and generally figuring out how Melody's body worked. It felt a little odd for him to have the additions on Melody's chest, since he was a man, but luckily he didn't feel like they'd throw his balance off much. The interesting thing about the body was that it had a lower center of gravity, which Durithill could use if he got used to it quickly enough. Not that he wanted to stay in a female body forever, but it did have its advantages. Once he was ready though, he began running towards the field where the army lay waiting. "Get ready for a hell of a battle." Durithill said with a bit of a laugh as he ran out of the caves.

Melody held tight her flute as feeling her body runing over the field, it felt stainge to have someone controll on your body, she felt like even if she want she cant get the controll back.

 Durrahn stood outside the hotel. It had been a long while since Amaranth had left and she was getting very worried. The girl saw someone flying down the road and got excited, but it was just another angel, not the girl who she sought. Worry was starting to transition into panic - what if Amaranth didn't return? She'd be all alone again. Alone. She shook her head, no she mustn't think of that! That way lie madness!

"It'll be okay Durrahn..." Rachel thought to her. She knew better, since she was already aware of Amaranth's death, but she didn't want Durrahn to be worried just yet, "I'm certain they're okay. Want me to lead you to Kir?" She knew where Lily and Kir had gone off to, since they almost always in communication.

Durrahn wasn't really listening until Rachel mentioned Kir. She looked at the gem, her eyes filled with a confused mixture anger and joy. "You can do that? How long have you known where he is?!" She asked.

"Well I know where Kieran is, to be more specific," Rachel admitted, "Dragonkin usually try to keep in contact with each other, so every once in a while I get updates from him and I give him one as well."

"And you didn't tell me anything all that time I was so worried?" Durrahn asked, then a look of realization came across her face, "Wait, if you have connection to... can you tell where Amaranth is?"

"I just didn't want you to worry," Rachel said, "She's with the others," she answered. Technically she wasn't, but Rachel believes that Amaranth and Mer kind of live on in their hearts, like how smoke often remains after a fire has been snuffed out.
