I was a rogue before Lina put her mark on me. I am not afraid of being shunned again. What I am afraid of is getting you killed because you were having relations with a Lotus.. Her lips twitched as tears welled up in her eyes. She didn't want to let him go when she'd just had the courage to tell him what she felt.
She let out a sharp cry of pain and fell to her knees, curling forward as the Lotus symbol burned itself into her skin again. She hugged herself, trembling from the pain of having her shape shifting powers negated long enough for the change to appear again.

A gentle rain began to fall as they reached the lotus base. Remus paused outside the door, rain dripping from his face and hair. "Thank you Lina."

Seth was about to speak, his mind blazing with surprise, but he stopped once she made that cry of pain, something of which he almost could feel for her. He knelt down hodling her gently, his eyes closing as he said, "Talk to Lina Leila. Let her take it off and you'll be free." he gently kissed her cheek before holding her once again, "Understand?"
Lina blinked a few times, looking at him silently before shaking her head, "Don't thank me. It is thanks enough we are together."

Remus smiled again and opened the door for her. He walked with her to her door. "Please then, allow me to thank you one more time." He kissed her cheek and went to his room.

Leila trembled bodily in his arms, the pain still fresh in her mind. I don't want freedom.. I want peace.. She murmured, feeling her seamstress drop down beside them and take one of her limp hands. The old woman looked worried, but relaxed when she saw it was only the return of the tattoo that had caused her Leila to collapse.

I hear reports for Lina and everyone else, but you must have noticed it was only recently that I stepped out of the Lotus homebase. So no, I haven't been participating in it.. She took a deep breath and pushed away the pain and sat up straighter.

Leila smiled and kissed the woman's cheeks before unsteadily standing up.
"I think we're on our way out.. Thank you Maxime. You're wonderful as always." The seamstress nodded and smiled, waving to them both before disappearing into the back room.
No.. and I want it that way.. She won't worry about me.. She said softly as she slipped out of the shop, sighing in the air before turning to him. You miss the peace we had? Or are you just glad they're gone?

Seth was beginning to get annoyed, but he kept his calm attidude, "First of all, we can talk normally now, so stop. Secondly, if it's the Leaders you speak of, yes. I am glad they left. They were a crutch we depended on for everything. I miss having peace, but want our race to be independent from that crutch. I don't want to feel like a drone anymore."

Leila looked at him over her shoulder.
"Don't like me being in your head, Seth?"
She looked forward and smiles wistfully.
"I guess we were drones to them.. I agree. A crutch is never a good thing to lean on I suppose, when it's passed it's prime. What do you suggest we do to solve this problem?" She looked at him, her eyes shifting to blue as she smiled brightly.

Several hours later, Remus awoke from his sleep and began his morning routine of getting breakfast. He finished his breakfast and began wandering aimlessly through the base, exploring the whole building. Something he had previously not had the time for.

Seth didn't reply to the first question, only smirking before he began to walk down the street, "I don't know...One of the Leaders are awakened, which means he will stop to nothing to bring the others back..." he sighed before turning around, looking at her as he walked backwards, "How can you tell a godlike being to just quit being ruler of this world?"
Lina was still in the library, carefully reading over ancient book, which strangely had no effect on her at the moment. She frowned when she once again could not read after Aurora's chapter. It was as if Moneko designed the book to go in order and nothing else.

Remus had free time so he decided to train. He went into the training area and began going through his motions and stances, perfecting the blips in his combat.
