Hiro tried not to smile when Eki turned a bright pink. As Eki held his hand, Hiro felt like his face was turning even brighter. Hiro couldn't help but noticed her human-like skin. It was incredible.

Hiro grinned when she said his name wrong. It was really cute. Her slow handshake was comforting, but as she stepped down from the rock, Hiro felt himself freak out a little. Was she leaving him already? He was about to make a friend! As she faces the house, Hiro assumes she wants to go in.

Hiro, crouching down, picks up the small little Eki. Politely, he asked, "Can I bring in my house for some water, or would you like to go learn some new jutsu?" Hiro smiled at Eki. He hoped picking her up wasn't uncomfortable for her, since she was small. Hiro couldn't help but imagine her full-size. She'd be taller then her since he was eight.

Eki continues gazing inside until she feels herself... grow taller. Or was that the sensation when one is rising up? She looks down and sees the ground way down below her. She gives a yelp and her water tentacles reveal themselves from against her back and within her clothing to wrap around the boy's arms and then she latches onto his clothes with her tiny fists. Was she afraid of heights? No, she had to just be startled and surprised. She squeezes her eyes shut and whispers, "Woah~," before she is fully lifted up. Her tentacles would feel cool against the boy's skin, sort of like silly putty, and wouldn't cause him discomfort no matter how tightly she latched onto him. She then hears Hiro ask her if she wanted some water or wanted to learn jutsus and she thinks. "Can we have both?" She was going to say how she was hungry but she didn't want to bother him. She would just have a few sips of water and go with that. Besides, she didn't want to wind up getting lethargic after having too much water to eat, er, drink. She seems to relax now, recoiling her water tentacles, and smiles happily. She raises one hand in the air and points to the sky and then to the house. "I want to go in for water, please and thankies you," she finally says.

Hiro didn't feel frightened when he realized Eki had tentacles. She was obviously not human. No use making her feel uncomfortable for being different. Not like she really chose to be different. Once she grabbed his shirt, he stifled a chuckle. She was small, so rising up suddenly wasn't polite nor common. He should have just waited. It wasn't in his nature to be rude, straight-forward, demanding, and impolite. He just smiled to her as she asked for water and jutsu. "Okay, but I'll warn you that I don't learn quickly." This of course, was not true. Hiro was just a little too modest. Just a tad. However, he had a ton of jutsu to learn himself, so he knew it would take him three years at the very least to complete the whole list that was mainly healing jutsu or genjutsu. Hiro had his weaknesses, of course. Kenjutsu and taijutsu weren't on his list of expertise. He just nods to her and points to his door. "My house has clean, pure water. It is from natural streams, but the bacteria has been cleaned out. Naturally, of course. I have top-notch water because it is in my genes to have dehydration often." He just realized that he wasn't too different from Eki. Water was practically vital to their survival, and was more important to them then to regular ninja. "I have some new jutsu to learn, and I've made my own, but you should have some water first. Then, once your grown, you might like something to eat. Is my house's water fine, or shall we find a way to wait for rain?"

Hiro figured Eki wouldn't want to wait for rain, but he owed her to wait for her answer.

Ah, I see. And as for flooding me with posts, no worries. I like reading the stories anyway so it's no problem if you want to make your posts lengthy or even post as much as you want while waiting for me to reply. It's not the reading that makes me take a while, just finding time where I can type up the post and post it. So feel free to type as much as you'd like.

Eki listens to Hiro and thinks on what all he said. First he spoke about how he wasn't very quick at learning jutsu. In that way he was like Eki who found learning techniques difficult. It wasn't the chakra molding or even the tricky part of her learning a technique that wasn't completely water based. She was just a butterfingers when it came to the hand signs. She would also try using her tentacles to form hand seals which never worked. For Eki, she was a one trick pony anyway. So after she'd manage to learn a technique she'd either stick to only using that technique or revert back to using her special item that she cherished very much. Though, in the end, Hiro was just a modest youth and he wasn't challenged when it came to learning techniques. So they weren't really alike in that way. "I'm not very good with learning techniques either. The hand seals are hard and I only really use water to fight anyway.” She mentioned only being able to use water, but that wasn’t entirely all. In fact, if she were simply a better fighter, she could fight with far more. After a while she begins to murmur something before stating, “If you want me to grow up into somebody else so badly…”

She pokes her lips out and puffs up her cheeks. Her pout deepens as her cheeks take on a rosy color. “If you want me to grow then I can make myself grow. But I need special water to become different all the way. Very different water.” One of her tentacles creeps out of its hiding place as she reveals a small weapon. This object was known as a Madogu and was a magical blade that manipulated water. It was her current favorite item to spam in a fight or in everyday life. With a certain function of the weapon she would be able to harness a large amount of water that could effectively alter her form to that of her other shape. “But I want to go inside and get water. Then we can come back outside and I can use my toy to change so we can train together,” she reasons. She really just wanted to taste the water that he said was so pure. She really hated when water had pollutants in it. It gave a bad aftertaste even if in small quantities. She would wait to be taken inside by her new pal to have a nice cup of water.

Hiro opened his door and walked them both in. His mom and dad were out back in their garden, taking care of the few koi fish that stopped down their little stream. This stream was not natural, as Hiro's grand parents built it and the house, though the stream led up to the moutains so fresh water came down. It just so happened that koi fish enjoyed the river tempature.

Hiro opened the fridge and brough out a water bottle, a carton of milk, a carton of orange juice, and a juice box of apple juice. He made a gesture of all them. "Take your pick. I recommend the orange juice; we made it ourselves."

Several candles burned brightly on silver stands scattered throughout the room. They shed a meager light, just enough to illuminate the tightly locked-down room's contents. There was a threadbare armchair, one of its legs broken and roughly repaired with twine and nails. An enormous table, easily large enough to provide room for twenty. And upon that table were stacks upon stacks of books, scrolls, maps and other pieces of information. The centerpiece was a large map, held down at its four corners by a quartet of tacks tamped into the wood of the table itself. Obviously whoever had affixed the map was concerned more for convenience than for caring for such an antique table; those gouges would never be buffed out. The map itself showed the entirety of the known lands, each country or region colored a unique shade that had little to do with terrain or climate. Instead, the colors were a reference to the political climate, showing the various alliances that had formed between many of the assorted nations and villages.

Also on the map were a scattered of small wooden tokens that resembled chess pawns. Extremely plain, each bore a single band of color to match the nation they were affiliated with. Some were set upon their own nation's lands, others had encroached on a neighbor's, regardless of friend or foe status. What was intriguing was that this was a completely up to date representation of the current relations of the villages, along with their military deployments. What made this interesting was because there was nobody around to move the assorted pieces, nor was there any obvious way in or out of the room. There were no windows, nor a door. The candles were still burning bright, but there was enough excess wax gathered at the base of their stands to be the remnants of hundreds, if not thousands of candles.

The table, already impressive by the sheer wealth of data it offered, was only a pale shadow against what was the predominant feature of the room. That being an enormous craggy mass. Roughly seven feet wide and tall, it was a crude sphere, covered in a thick, scaly material that resembled nothing so much as immense scabs. The material would be cool to the touch, and a thick gathering of dust had formed on it, enough to prove it hadn't moved in quite some time. Yet, as unappealing and worthless as it seemed, this odd mass was actually quite important. Or rather, its contents were what was important. After all, it was the final product in an experiment that had taken generations of careful study and precise calculations. Decades of waiting, tempered only by momentary periods of frenzied activity, only to return to stasis once that time had run out. It was almost akin to a cicada's life span, repeated over and over again through the years. Indeed, that was precisely what it was supposed to be, though the interior did not house an insect.

One of the only other objects of note inside of the sealed room was an immense grandfather clock. Like the table, the clock was well-maintained despite seemingly being within a sealed room. It was easily eight feet tall, peeking just slightly over the top of the large cocoon. It's weights moved up and down rhythmically, even as it's pendulum swung back and forth in an easy, controlled arc. What made this clock so unique was that it was so much more than just a simple clock. Normally, the face of a clock was marked with twelve numbers, and an assortment of notches along the edges to mark the individual minutes beyond that. This clock's face was notably more complex. Several compass roses and what appeared to be graphic representations of geolabes covered the four quarters of the face. Each of them bore a single slender hand that hugged the face's surface, to slide under the minute and hour hands when in conflict. What they actually meant was impossible to determine, though as they bore minuscule symbols related to the Western Zodiac, their symbolism might be linked to the phases of the moon and the time of year.

Their meaning, while unclear, seemed to have great significance. For it was at that very moment that the clock started to chime. a deep, bass tone rolled out from it, much louder than any clock, even one that size, should properly produce. Likewise, it continued chiming, over and over, far past whatever hour of the day or night it actually was. Only when the chiming had grown loud enough to rattle the scattered pens and markers on the table did any real change occur.

The large cocoon shuddered, pulsed and then began shifting. As if something inside was now trying to break free. Not terribly fast, but insistent. Soon, several thin cracks appeared in the craggy surface, cracks that allowed the shell to buckle and break. As time passe4d, the cracks grew into fissures, soon causing large plates of the cocoon to break off and fall to the floor. Within was a thick layer of some kind of gel, a green the same shade as tree moss. Without warning, a hand broke through the sludge, fingers outstretched as if attempting to pull the rest of the body to freedom.

Over the next several minutes, a humanoid form managed to work it's way free of the cocoon it had been trapped within. Not an easy process, and certainly not a clean process. Thick gobs of the muck dripped off of them to pool and gather on the carpeted floor, likely ruining a priceless antique rug beyond repair. The still unknown figure paid no mind to their surroundings, instead they methodically worked at shucking off as much of the sludge as possible. Indeed, their movements were overly precise, as if their limbs were numb or especially uncoordinated. Eventually that coordination would stabilize, but not today. Today was reserved solely for cleaning up and fully waking up. After all, this nameless figure had been asleep for years, in a state of suspended animation. During which the world had gone right on spinning, without regard for it's errant passenger. Red eyes glittered with pent-up curiosity. Over what had happened to the world, and what was about to.

-----------------------

It had taken some time, but eventually the freshly-awakened form had gained control of their movements. Once they had, they stretched, groaning at the feeling of tension in the small of their back. It made no difference that they had been in stasis rather than just sleeping, they still felt a deep-seated need to stretch their muscles and yawn hugely. Moving to the table, they looked down at the map, a hand reaching out to trace the assorted boundaries between the villages. They could easily spot the changes that had appeared since the last time they saw the map, enough to get a rough feel for the political climate even before moving on to the written reports.

Finally, they moved to the chair and took a seat, ignoring the small cloud of dust that arose from sitting down. Picking up the first sheaf of papers, they got started reading them without a word. After all, there was nobody around to talk to. As well, there was a very good chance that the last people she had spoken to before going to sleep were already dead. Either by old age or dangerous living, it didn't matter. They knew that human life was generally short, a mere blip when compared to the history of the lands themselves. A history they would use to full effect in their plans.

-------------------

Mayu sighed and leaned back in her chair. It had taken a full day to process all of the reports that had been prepared for her. She had no idea who was currently in charge of Project Mayfly, but they were keeping up with their duties well enough. Project Mayfly had been started back in the early days of the Great Ninja War. It had been put in motion shortly after the founding of the Hidden Sound. Rumor had it that Orochimaru himself had put forth the idea, but nobody knew for sure. Regardless, it had continued in secret, even many of the village's own citizens unaware of the project.

The project itself was centered on the innate potential of members of the Kagerou clan. Normally, their clan bloodline, or kekkei genkai, had them take a 'larval' form during the majority of their life, and only transcending to their 'mayfly' form for a brief moment. Many of the members of the clan only ever took that form once, due to the excessive strain that came with accessing such power. From that had come the goal of finding a way to make that form easier to access, and to survive to access again.

The infusion of data from the Curse Marks had led to a shocking development. A ninja who was 'infected' with a Curse Mark similarly gained a transformative state, and access to surprising power. Finding a way to use that to develop a hybrid of sorts, that had been the final goal of Project Mayfly. Mayu was only one of several experiments to that extent, and as far as she knew, the only one to have survived. And that, that was only due to the unusual extrapolation of the project's data that covered her specific experiment. That being to draw more heavily upon her clan's bloodline, to artificially amplify its presence in the hopes that it would then prove apparent enough to make the application of Curse Mark data more stable.

It had worked, to a certain degree. She did seem to have gained an impressively accelerated manifestation of her clan's abilities. Instead o just a larval form and a mayfly form, she had gained several interim forms. Each one released more power than the one before, each one tapped into the core of that almost unlimited power. But such power was not without cost. In fact, there were two major drawbacks that rendered her unsuitable for the project's purposes. The first was obvious, in that she had just emerged from it. Her clan was obviously similar to a cicada, and that extended to a long hibernation of sorts. At least for her. That was the primary reason she held no value to the project. Before she was considered ready for battle, she had entered her own hibernation. And as time passed, she showed no sign of emerging. But the project endured, even as its scientists and researchers were replaced. During that time, her progress was monitored with greater or lesser attention as times changed.

Even as times changed, the researchers maintained the lab that had been shut down and converted over to her storage. Current data was continuously funneled to the table, so that whenever she did awaken, she could get started on her true mission. That mission, of course, being to win the Great Ninja War. A war that had ended decades before. That didn't stop her, she merely shifted her priorities. In order to win the war, she had to ignite it anew. To do that, she needed as much accurate data of the various countries as possible. Only when she was sure of the various nations' loyalties, only then would she move into action.

Which brought her second flaw to light. This second flaw was considered relatively minor, as it would eventually be overcome, with proper training. Due to the successive layers of her limiting transformations, her agility and dexterity were lowered by a noticeable degree. To put it bluntly, she was slow. The first time she had emerged from her cocoon, she couldn't have outrun a paraplegic. Her initial form was so limited that she could barely move beyond a casual stroll, and even that taxed her efforts. But as she grew and matured, her later transformations would lessen this debilitation, and in time, she would gain a reasonable mastery of herself.

Which brought her to where she was now. No longer was she in that initial form, she had grown. Not to her final form, but closer. She could move at something akin to normal speed, enough that she could at least survive an actual battle. Now she could go out and fine-tune her knowledge even as she tested herself, to better prepare for her true calling. But first, first she had to finish digesting all of the data that had been left for her. Even if the earlier data had been converted into shorter notes in favor of a focus on current affairs, she was still processing several decades' worth of troop movements, conquests and defeats, political coups, successors and replacements, assassinations and elections, and everything else that made up the history of all the lands. It was an enormous amount of data to take in, but she was prepared for it. After all, it was what she had been created to do.

-----------

The next day, she finally emerged from her sealed room. That was a process in and of itself. After all, due to the top-secret nature of Project Mayfly, she couldn't be held anywhere that was even remotely accessible to the outside world. Fortunately for her, a detailed guide to how to leave and return was included in the mountain of data she had been left. To leave, she had to access the hidden door built into the side of the room farthest from the table. This was done through a loose floorboard, which revealed a pressure-sensitive switch. That switch released a catch that kept the hidden door sealed, but only for a moment. She had to slip through quickly or she wouldn't be able to try again for another week. Now that she had gained more speed and agility, that was not an impossible task.

From there she had to maneuver down a completely dark hallway, working her way past several turns and sets of steps. The next step was a blank stone wall, which seemed resistant to any damage. Indeed, even if she were to use the Kagerou clan's strongest skill, it would barely crack the stone's rough surface. Instead, she had to follow a precise set of hand seals, and application of small bursts of chakra in certain locations. If done properly, this would cause the implanted jutsu to temporarily phase the stone out, allowing her to pass through and access the final step. If done wrong, she would pass through the stone, but only partway, before the jutsu would instantly revert. Such a fate would be undoubtedly lethal, having much of her insides forcibly merged with stone.

The last step was relatively easy, when compared to all the others. It was a metal security door, triple-hinged and reinforced, more akin to the door to a bank vault than anything else. It's only access panel was a simple metal box, one side covered with a slightly tacky square of a bluish-green substance. This was a scanner, designed to read the print of someone's entire hand. It also checked their chakra signature, to prevent an attacker from cutting off and using an authorized person's hand. There were not very many authorized personnel, only five at any given time. One being Mayu, of course.

Finally, Mayu emerged from the last step, and looked around. She was now in what seemed to be a simple peasant's hut, built into the side of a mountain. The mountain itself was almost completely hollow. Both from the sprawling complex devoted to Project Mayfly, and also to a limited section reserved for a mining operation. There were several rich veins of iron and gold, along with at least trace elements of other rare metals. It was mostly a cover for the complex, but it did provide some raw materials for the village's purposes.

She blinked as she stepped out of the single room cottage, finally feeling the sun on her skin for the first time in who knew how long. The air was fresh, she could tell it had rained recently, the distinctive scent filling the air with the aroma of fresh green things. After being cooped up for so long, there was nothing she would have liked better than to simply take a walk, to go out and actually experience the world itself. She would have a chance to do just that, but she'd have to stay devoted to her mission. Stoking the flames of warfare until it was a raging conflagration that would go on to consume all of the nations. At the same time, she would stay in contact with Project Mayfly, to monitor their preparedness for the second half of the plan. After all, they needed soldiers to win the war. Project Mayfly was hard at work, both recruiting and creating, more soldiers for the reserves of Hidden Sound. They would have the element of surprise, and the sheer weight of numbers to make the most of it. When the other nations became weakened from fighting each other, Project Mayfly's forces could swoop in and roll over them all, in one fell swoop.

For now, she merely had to work at putting together a web of contacts, to better initiate her plans for instigating hostilities between the nations. Find people who had their finger on the pulse of a nation, and she would find the prime moment to strike. Not that her efforts would ever be so bold as a straightforward attack. She would work from the shadows for the most part. Her own power would be best served as a method for eliminating anyone who became too close to her, or one who found out too much about her true purpose. She simply couldn't afford to leave any loose threads lying about, for an enemy to pick up and deduce what she was up to.

For now, though, there was only one thing on her mind. Food! She was starving, now that she had woken up and begun moving around. Part of the materials she had been left included a set of travelling clothes, and a fair amount of pocket money. With that taken into account, she looked like any other traveler, wandering into the village. She would be able to move around freely, unless someone was especially perceptive. So she set out, orienting herself on the village proper, eager to find a diner or restaurant, or whatever, as long as she could get a good meal.

The village was only a few miles away; she would get there before noon easily. As she proceeded, she marveled at just how fast she could move. Fast, compared to the crawl that she used to travel at, anyways. She enjoyed the feeling of a slight breeze as she continued at a brisk pace, and soon enough she could see and hear the village. The sounds of life, the sight of smoke coming from chimneys and farmers in the fields. A pastoral scene, one that would inevitably change to a more martial one when her plans came to fruition. But that would not be for some time yet.

After wandering the village for a time, she eventually found a bistro, an open-air cafe. Several small wrought-iron tables, each accompanied by a trio of chairs, were clustered around the building where the food was prepared. She was hungry enough that she didn't care to keep looking for another place, when she had found one that was perfectly suitable for her purposes. It wasn't too busy, only a few of the tables were occupied. At this time of day, it was too late for the breakfast crowd, but too early for the lunch crowd. That suited her just fine, she was more focused on filling her stomach, rather than eavesdropping on potential political dissidents.

She received an odd look when she placed her order, but she paid it no mind. As long as they served her meal, she didn't care if they thought it unusual that a single person had ordered such a large meal. She was just that hungry, and whatever she didn't eat now, she would save to eat later. So she got her tray, loaded with enough food for four, and took a seat, tucking in without delay. While she was ravenous, she didn't try to immediately gorge herself. Not just manners, that was just common sense. Choking on a half-chewed croissant would be a horribly ignoble way to die, regardless of her status as the hidden weapon of Hidden Sound.

All the same, she gradually became aware of a muttered conversation at an adjacent table. Keeping her focus on her food, she nonetheless attuned her hearing to the conversation, eavesdropping with no qualms. At first, it seemed to be ordinary gossip, but she didn't stop listening then, a decision that would prove to have far-reaching ramifications.

"Didja hear? There's been some kind of war games going on over in Hidden Mist, but they aren't supposed to be games at all! I heard that Mist is gearing up to attack some other village, no clue where. Hopefully not here, though!"

It took a noticeable act of will for Mayu to not react. Such a fortuitous twist of fate, for such valued information to fall so neatly into her lap. Oh, she was aware of the risk in believing information without getting it verified. She wouldn't act on it without looking into it herself. But merely finding a good avenue to begin her search was valuable in and of itself. Now she knew where to go next, and what to look into. With that decided, she dug into her meal once more, still working on satisfying her hunger.

As the group walked out of Hidden Star and to the boats near the docks, the female in the group wondered. What did that male mean by 'she had killed him'? Despite that, she would not speak and would just let the Undertaker tell a story about the time he found a puppy and traveled around with it until it tried to take his bone shaped dog biscuits and he killed it. She didn't much like the story but she was too absorbed to really say anything. It wouldn't be long before the group travel into Hidden Sound only to find people sprawled out on the ground. The Undertaker quickly skips sideways over to one, crouches down, and then takes their pulse. "Isn't this wonderful? She's dead and the body is completely in tact. I can certainly dress this." The female in the group shrieks before rushing over to the Kyonshi and tugging him away. "Now don't be such a chicken," the man snickers. She explains how this is suspicious but the man just fans her off. He goes back to examining the body as she looks at all of the people laid out in the streets. What had happened? "Looks like an epidemic."

"A what? We need to get out of here then!" She watches the silver haired man with the wide grin sweeping across his face in confusion.

"I've seen this before. We have nothing to worry over unless we are members of a clan in this village. If you are then you're doomed to die anyway, so might as well stick around for a funeral in your honor." He chuckles and the pink haired maiden can't help but feel disgusted by his calm. "I actually dressed the last batch. It happened a very, very long time ago. But it spread across the village and the only reason this village and it's clan prevailed was because all weren't here. Nope; no they weren't." Kibishii brushes his hands along his garbs and sighs. "I'll need to set up shop here at some point. So many dead and in need of an Undertaker." He'd almost forgotten! The Kyonshi rummages in one sleeve and draws out a golden fountain pen and then a white notebook with gold writing on the outside. He makes sure to hide it from everyone as he begins jotting things down into it. Once he would be finished he would store the notebook back in its place along with the pen before going back to examining the corpse of the woman.

Eli couldn't believe some days that he followed them. He could have been doing so many other things, but he enjoyed spending time with them. Or he suspected he enjoyed spending time with them. He rather be with them then being by himself. When he was by himself he got bored and started to talk to himself. However with them he didn't have to listen to his own crazy voices he could learn about other people.

"You know a lot of fancy words and beautiful stories.."

That last part was sarcastic.. or was it. Eli did enjoy the story.. However he looked around. The undertaker wanted to set up shop. That meant something twas killing these people. He wondered if it was her. His beautiful death. other times he didn't. He knew that disease ran rampant and killed the weak to breed the strong. He felt his stomach growl and he only tilted his head at the two.

"Hmm do you people eat.. or is that just a me thing.. You guys are kinda strange and I haven't started to understand all of our differences yet."

Eli said as he pressed his finger against his nose. He tilted his head up and looked at them and his hood fell off exposing his purple hair. He gave a dim smile and he pulled his hood back over his head and started to whistle. he reached in his little pandy wallet and slapped it. He had plenty of money.. He could buy food for them. He only licked his lips and wonder what kind of trouble.. he could get into..

The Undertaker snickers at his companion. "When you've lived a life like mine for as long as I have you tend to know a lot of fancy things." He moves away from the body and stands beside the male traveling with him. "Well if it is food that you want then it is food we shall find. I'd wager that we can find a place to eat without a wait and extremely cheap. After all, most of the shops here are run by natives." He seemed amused as he motions forward and gestures to his surroundings. The female watches him and can't help but think staying there and eating was not only reckless but wrong. People were dead in the streets and they were just going to sit and eat? Kibishii takes a deep breath and then sighs out, "The two of us eat, yes." He then wraps his arms around himself, rocking side to side, and smiling. "I normally don't where I come from but here I tend to always be hungry. Eating my lovely treats is more than just something to keep withdrawal symptoms away anymore. I suppose I could grab a bite to eat with you. No use in waiting until I am starving like normal."

"We're just going to eat with all these people dead? Shouldn't we bury them? As an Undertaker, shouldn't you be compelled to dress them at least?" Kibishii groans at the female in the group but continues smiling. He was never a fan of the moral or ethical people in the world. They always thought what he did was wrong or could wait or was sick. Instead of responding to her in detail he would nod and begin running at full speed down the street in search of a place where they could sit and eat. Noticing this the pink haired maiden stops lecturing and readies to chase after the Undertaker and the other male should he follow after him.

Eli licked his lips a bit. He only looked around at all the dead bodies. He scratched his chin slightly and he slightly wished that he had a beard. However, he often wondered would he be old enough to ever grow a beard. What color would be his beard. He only stopped and he looked at the eyes of his new companions.

"We should bury the dead first... The dead always need a place to rest. They should never be forced to wonder alive forever. I died before.. and nobody buried me... I think it was a tragedy, but I am not exactly sure."

He only looked at the ground for a moment. For two moments. He then lifted his head up. He got over the thought about the dying. He only looked at the Undertaker. He licked his bottom lip and he sighed slowly.

"You got shovels? OR coffins in a scroll some where. I would enjoy helping you.. because.. I would. I am quite sure I won't starve to death.. If I help you with this task."

ELi said as he brushed his hand through his hair. He quickly put his hood back over his eyes. He then sighed once more and he put his hands in his pocket. He couldn't wait to get somewhere with less sun. However, that didn't matter... He had to put away some dead bodies. He was only happy to get ready to help bury the dead, and then eat. IT would be great day.

~:: Fugen Himoji ::~

Fugen entered the quaint village that was Hidden Sound, something that was not very large as most of the clans still prefers to live a bit of distance away from one another. None knowing if their neighbors still have loyalty to the man once known as Orochimaru. This was something that Fugen considered as he walked in through the gates of the village, wanting to return home and inform his parents of his progression into the world of ninja. Hew knew they would try to push him off the path, make him take a job that is less risk to his health and safety but he was prepared to tell them he was not going to stop on this path. It will finally give him some piece of mind if he were able to find the guy and put a stop to him so he could not hurt anyone else. Distracted by these thoughts, Fugen bumped into a large muscular man with red hair shaved in a very odd manner.

"Hey, look what you just did. Made me spill my dumplings. Now you are going to leave me hungry and I do not like that."
"Look sir, I apologize and I will buy you a new one. That alright?"
"Not really the thing I am going to be hungry for," said Jiroubou as he threw a open palm into Fugen's stomach.

Fugen flew backwards and slammed hard into a nearby tree, nearly knocking the wind out of him as he slid to the ground. His vision was blurred, trying to look towards the man who had just cheap shotted him flying into a tree. A blurred mass of flesh started towards him and Fugen was just able to move fast enough to avoid getting a fist to the face. The same fist struck through the tree, breaking it in half as Fugen sprawled to his feet raising his fists in defense. "The hell is wrong with you? I already offered to buy you more dumplings."

"Already told you. I am not hungry for food." Jiroubou moved forwards towards Fugen once again, throwing a punch that looked like it could break through stone. Fugen ducked backwards, throwing up a kick towards the man's chin and connecting, feeling his body absorbing the chakra from Jiroubou before flipping backwards away from the large man. "Oh, a member of the Akadou clan. Must say, you just made me hungrier." Fugen's eyes widened as Jiroubou suddenly appeared in front of him with amazing speed, a knee shoved right into his rib cage, sending him flying backwards once again before bouncing on the ground a few times and slamming into another tree, hearing a crack run through his entire body.

"That more than likely broke a rib... Gotta get the hell out of here, he means to kill," thought Fugen to himself as he gripped his chest over his old wound. It suddenly grew dark and Fugen first thought that he was dying but when the blur cleared from his eyes, he could see a faint light glowing through cracks within the dome of earth that covered him. He could feel himself losing energy and could only deduce one thing. This guy was probably another member of the Akadou clan or one of the lucky few that had the ability to absorb chakra. Fugen stood up and slammed himself into the wall, finding it was hard to bust through but he continued to try to dig his way out, only to find that his efforts were futile, the dome was fixing itself constantly after every attempt. Fugen was about to give up on options and leave himself to his fate but then had an idea. He threw his hands upon the dome and found himself correct. Chakra was being fed into the dome to repair any damages while it forcefully removes the chakra from victims trapped within the dome. Fugen was able to steal away the chakra that was being stolen from him creating nothing more than an inifinite loop between the two. After about an hour of this, Fugen started to hear laughing.

"I guess this is kind of a mute point having two people who can absorb chakra fighting one another. Why do we not just finish this so I can eat your chakra while you are unconscious."
"I could not agree more you tub of lard," shouted Fugen back to him.

The walls suddenly came crashing down with an open palm flew forwards towards Fugen's torso. Fugen threw forwards his hands, catching the man's thrust but still found himself flying backwards. He managed to flip himself around and sliding onto the ground before throwing up his head to see the man flying towards him again. Fugen grimaced a little as the man reached him, trying to throw another fist towards Fugen who immediately ducked before throwing a palm upwards into the chest of Jiroubou sending him backwards. Fugen was trying out the man's technique against him and it seemed to be working. The large man landed and threw his shoulder forwards, but was met by a firm fist punch, almost canceling each other out if it was not for Jiroubou's large size and Fugen's light weight. Fugen still found the shoulder into his chest, knocking him back a ways but he managed to stop himself before kicking off the ground and sending a knee right into Jiroubou's stomach, knocking him back a little.

"Clever little b*****d aren't you? Using my own techniques against me. But just know this, a copy cat is never as strong as the original!"

Fugen grunted at the statement as he watched the man start to walk in a large circle, Fugen following suit, one trying to size up the other in some way. Fugen was the first to make a move as he rushed forwards, his shoulder thrust outwards. Jiroubou was going to counter with a knee but Fugen suddenly ducked downwards, sliding before throwing an open palm upwards and into the man, sending him upwards into the air. Fugen then braced himself as he twisted his body and threw an open palm upwards with enough momentum that caught even Jiroubou surprised. The thrust caused the man to fly upwards again, spinning due to the angle of the strike. Fugen took that opportunity to run up a nearby tree, kicking off as Jiroubou started to fall and threw out a closed fist into the large man's chest, sending him flying into a tree and sliding to the ground. Fugen landed on his feet, grabbing at the area where he felt the crack earlier and looked towards Jiroubou to see that the man was knocked unconscious. Probably because he lowered his defense when he was caught by surprise and the punch was also probably unexpected. Fugen quickly took that opportunity to escape, slipping into the village away from the large man that could easily over take him if he was serious.

The silver haired Kyonshi swerves around a corner and disappears. Not long after he does his pink haired companion rushes along after him, assuming that the young Eli would give chase. Not even a few seconds after her locks pull around the corner behind her, Kibishii is behind Eli laughing lowly. "Can't say I took you for that type of mortal," the man whispers. He wasn't close enough to cause a reflexive reaction, about a few feet from this young being, but was near enough to quickly make his way around him to stand at his previous location. "I always carry a shovel or two. I don't suppose we can just go ahead and bury a handful?" He'd rather shuck the more tedious responsibilities of an Undertaker for later, but this fellow seemed hard set on tending to the dead. And since he found this young fleshy thing to be quite entertaining, he would just have to buckle down and tend the dearly departed. Reaching behind his back Kibishii would draw out a simple shovel made of wood and stone for the head of the shovel. While the Undertaker himself would take out a shovel that looked to be made out of solid gold.

"As Undertaker I get the shiny shovel..." he points to the shovel he has and then at the shovel his companion has, "and you get that shovel first. After we bury five people each then we switch. The girl doesn't get one because she ran off. How irresponsible!" He snickers while gripping the handle of his shovel. He would blow a few strands of hair from his face but not enough to reveal his eyes before looking around. They would need to bury them all together for that too was a process for an Undertaker. He had to make them beautiful for their dance in the Afterlife but he also needed to make their new homes as pleasing to the eyes as possible. "We'll bury them over there." He gestures to an empty lot that seemed to be in the process of being made into some sort of park. "That should be enough space for all of them and give them a little wiggle room. Ha... ha ha ha." He moves to the woman from before and shoves his shovel into the ground. It would be a quickie, but he would make her beautiful again.

Pulling make up brushes, tweezers, nail files, and even hair brushes from different areas on his person, he would begin to fix the outer appearance of the woman. He would soon replace each item before moving on to threading her sweater and pants from some wear and tear. He would proceed and after no more than maybe several minutes, she would look more beautiful than she would have any given day while alive. "This one's ready to be placed. Once I dress them then you can take them to the lot and lay them down where you want them buried. Six feet under and at least arms length apart if not more distance between each hole. While you are tending to that I will dress two and then go and place one. While I do as you had then you will take the other dressed corpse and repeat the process whilst I dress two more corpses. Before long we'll have them all dressed and near their graves. Then I will fit them for coffins and procure them in some manner. But by then the girl will be back and she can just go and get some coffins from shops nearby. Small villages these days often carry coffins in their town; especially areas that have histories like this one." The Undertaker would say nothing more and just move along to a new body to dress it. All the while he would be grinning and snickering. Strange guy.

He had met less meticulous ninjas on the field. However, if that is the way the job must get done.. then that is the way the job must get done. He simply grabbed the shovel from the hand of the Undertaker. He walked to the part of the field that he was told to dig. He only tilted his head for a moment. He wished that he could have just used some of his ninja skills to make these plots. He sighed. that wasn't the right way to do things. So he couldn't. He simply started to stick his shovel in the ground and started to dig his first hole.

"wiggle room... are they going to get up and come back to eat us or something.."

That wasn't sarcastic. Being in this world. He had seen far less strange things. After all he did have weapons sealed in him that only came out when he was killed. He did come back to life fwithout his memories for the most part.. However he gained them back when he saw her.. Before he was done with these unpleasent thoughts he had already finished digging four of the holes that was requested of him. He stood up out of the hole and only walked towards the undertaker. He looked at him squarely in the eyes.

"Why are you doing that to them.. dressing them up. Why not drop them in the hole.. they aren't coming back to life.."

He said slowly. He turned his back on him. He was more referring to his own life. Nobody dressed him up. Nobody even cared enough to bury him. He was just there.. and he would always just be there... He only frowned behind there back. H e didn't know why. Nore did he care to figure out why. However, he just went back to digging holes. Digging holes to distract himself from that the woman he loved.. killed him. The man that was his father wanted to kill him. His siblings were either trying to kill him or dead, and this is where he was going to end up. He only looked to the sky for a distraction. He finished digging his fifth hole and jumped out of the hole.

"When I die.. again. I hope that nobody buries me.. and they simply destroy me completely. I don't want to come back to this world."

He said with a sigh.

"I just never want to come back here again.."

He said as he stabbed the shovel in the ground and sat against it... Eli had never felt like this before, and he never wanted to feel like this again.

As the Undertaker would mend a wound on the face of a man that had busted their face open from collapsing as a result of the events that led to his death, he would hear his companions words and weight them for just a moment. He would even pause in sowing shut the wound to take all of what he’d said in. So they wanted to be made not to return after they died? That could be arranged more easily than he thought this person might think. After all, it was customary for being of his kind to alter the way the living died. Well, those in his particular hobby anyway. So if the youth wished it so, the Undertaker could make that happen. Those were his thoughts for a few moments after his acquaintance stopped talking. He goes back to shutting the wound on the an as he says, “Why not create a way to do that yourself? You ninja can climb trees, fly, and turn into monsters but you can’t make your body be destroyed after death? Eat a bomb and have it blow up by some sort of signal; a phone call? No, that’s been done before hasn’t it? Have a ninja magic bomb. Something where once your chakra drains and there is an external chakra or something the bomb explodes obliterating everything in a ten mile radius!” The Kyonshi decided to yell the last part and inadvertently drops the dead man’s head in his excitement. Bombs were funny. He retrieves the head, dusting it off, and then thinks.

“I like to dress the dead, it’s wonderful making them look pretty again. I’m mostly doing that for me. As for burying them, I buried myself and it was funny. I sided against a coffin, as a matter of fact. So I dress them for me, then when I bury them I put them in coffins because they won’t know how to have fun buried in just dirt. Besides…” He pauses. He couldn’t say the next part. He wasn’t entirely sure if he could tell him, even jokingly, about how the spirits act when they appear in the Afterlife. Coffins help to give them the illusion that they’re just sleeping. Makes for a fun gag until they realize they’re dead. The Kyonshi fans a hand at himself. “Would you like me to dress you and bury you? It’s great fun, oh yes it is. The coffin isn’t because it gets a touch boring not being able to roll around in the dirt and cave yourself in.” Done with mending the Undertaker slings the man over one shoulder and heads towards the holes the bodies are to be placed in. Instead of waiting for the coffin for this one the Undertaker plops him into the hole and crouches down. He watches the man silently, honestly wondering if they would spring to life. He’d probably wee himself if that happens and then roll on the ground laughing. Catching a fright was also great fun.
