This talk was beginning to unnerve him, but he kept calm, looking back at her as he replied. To tell you the truth, it is only the leaders of these groups who have a problem with each other, but the Cause we all have has given us hope that our once all-powerful race will rise again. Don't you see that this is what all struggling races have to go through? Seth's eyes looked into her pleadingly as he continued. We will one day realize all are Causes will either have to compromise or be erased for us to have peace. Until then...we can only wait.
Lina allowed him to lead her as she laughed, "Did the fall hurt?"

Remus laughed with her. "I cut my forehead and broke two fingers." They sat down on the bench, and Remus stared at the water cascading down the fountain.

Her lip trembled and she looked away, trying to hide the tears that sprung to her eyes. If one cannot love another for the mark on his skin, are we not doomed to failure? She murmured softly into his mind, a single tear falling. She quickly wiped it away and took a deep breath to try to calm herself.

Lina leaned against him, looking at the foutain as well, "It will be nice when this is all we would need to do everyday. No wars...no need for symbols or plans." she smiled gently at the thought.
When Leila looked away, Seth felt this was a true goodbye. He closed his eyes momentarily, steeling himself before nodding. I see you have made your choice and I cannot change it. Just remember this Leila, some it is not the mark that is the problem. Just the person wearing it.

She felt his sadness and looked at him about to speak before the old woman came out and looked at the two of them.
"Leila! I knew I saw something different when you came out! You're leaving the Lotus aren't you? Well, that's a good girl! Maybe you should take up an apprenticeship with me, then when my hands hurt you can sew your own blessed gowns!!"
Leila stared at the woman, her jaw dropping at the absolute insanity of this woman. The woman stared back, crossing her arms and knowing she had a point.

"It is something I know will happen once the Leaders are back..even the crazy ones," Lina smirked, the thougth of a particular lue-eyed one coming into her mind. She sighed in content before saing, "This was a good date Remus..."
Seth looked at the woman, admiring her boldness and even stifling a laugh that had somehow escaped his lips, "Leila...she has a point...maybe I shall one day see your artistic work in a fashion line because of it!" a flash of sadness went through his eyes, but it was only a few seconds before the sappire blue eyes were back to normal again.

Lina wrapped her arm aroun shis, as they walked, the peace of the garden now deep withing her at the moment. Everything seemed perfect..even the rounding up of the humans didn't phase her as they walked. She looked up at the sky, her hair billowing gently behind her as the wind began to pick up.
