*Shortstraw nodded* "My guess is i have to be able to tell which are lies and which is the truth. Those three steps were to make this a possable question and quiz for me to answer right." He nodded and stood ready, "I will do my best. Give me my options." he replied out to the vioce. However he kept his eyes on donte."

The voice laughed. "It's as simple as it sounds. All you need to do is distinguish which person or persons from each level were lying and which were telling the truth. One told the absolute truth. Two told dirty lies. But who told the truth? Was it your parents, Evelyn, or Kiera?" Dante frowned. "But sir, you said that there is no method on earth that can tell truth from lies." The voice bellowed a heartier laugh than the past few times. "Yes my boy. But this is a place far from earth." Suddenly in front of them appeared Shortstraw's parents, Evelyn and Kiera. All set out right in front of Shortstraw with straight faces. "Choose wisely. You have but a few minutes to get to Dante before he fries up."

*Shortstraw nodded* "Well first i will explain what i got out of it. First off. My parents never had anything to do with just about anything. And i was so small back then when i last saw them, i knew thre true nature. Second, Eveyln. In the past we made a deal and she needed to choose me or to dissapear from all existance. To fade away. She chose me. Therefor i know it's not her." He stepped up alittle, "and then theres Keria. At first it through me off becuse of the way she said what she did. However looking back tothe two times we had parted ways, in the end she chose me. Keria told the truth, becuse she cares, and she said what she had with heart. Even behind your stings." He looked to Donte. "It's time to go home buddy."

There was a still silence from the voice as Dante's face lit up, jumping to his feet once Shortstraw acknowledged him. Suddenly the voice spoke, preventing him from running to Shortstraw like he knew he wanted to. "Hold it." The voice seemed really close to Shortstraw now, almost breathing down his neck. "So is this the path you choose then, boy? The path of destruction? I can tell you now that from here on, things are going to get very difficult and painful for you. Is that what you want? To cause a stream of events that have been pondered over for years and will happen all as the planner imagined? Do you accept the concequences?" This was a very similar case to the choice Kiera had to make when saving Shortstraw. Dante stared on, confused, although still stuck to his spot. Suddenly his hands started to fade away. They became see-through and it was quickly spreading up his arms.

*Shortstraw chukkled* "I will endure whatever comes my way. Keria and I are a team. She's still getting used to it, but we will get anything that happens... oh and..." he turned and looked to where the vioce was as he put a hand in his pocket, "if someone has planned every event, then so be it. I am no longer theodor anymore, I am shortstraw. And i will choose my path, and i choose the one i already have. If have need to make a new one, i will. Donte is my brother, i cannot let you take him. And i'm asure if you did then you would regret it in hell. Becuse one thing i have learned from Eve, Keria, Veria, hell even Evelyn, the Yokai Familiy can do anything when they set there mind too it. And i'm part of that family. I'll uphold the familiy name." He turned back again and closed his eyes, "thankyou however for the lessions you have tought me, i will remember each word you spoken." He replied as if actully talking to a real person.

There was another short silence before Dante was let free, and he ran up to Shortstraw, almost tackling him to the icy ground. "Lets hope so, for your sake. For your families sake." The voice then disappeared completely as Dante shoved his hands in Shortstraw's face. "I'm disappearing!" He looked probably less worried than he should have been. Although of course he was grateful for someone actually coming to get him anyway. Suddenly all of the rest of the group appeared in front of them, returned from each of their challenges. Hikari was huffing and bloody, and Shiro had a couple of gashes on her arms. However the award for the bloodiest body went to Kiera, because she had rips and tears all over her clothes where the thorns had ripped through and to match it all she had blood dripping onto the floor from everywhere on her body through the gouges and scratches that had reaped her body while climbing through the thickets. Amelie was the only one who seemed to be all right, apart from a few bruises.

Prophet was napping on a cloud, since he had wings, and was a dragon, he could walk or stand on clouds, even sleep on them. Prophet over heard the conver sation, looked down with curiosity and yawned. He then stood up, stretched a little bit, his scales light blue to match the sky. He then scratched his back and jumped off. Right when he was about to hit the ground, Prophet turned into a rock dragon, and his scales turned hard a rock. He then hit the ground, changed his scales back to his signature midnight blue scales with little white dots on him, like stars.

*Shortstraw chukkled and looked to donte, "we will see you in a few minets then buddy." He smiled and looked to the rest of the group, "good work everyone, sorry i took so long... i went as fast as possable. Keria... when we are back i wanna talk to you." He smiled, "and Shiro again thankyou for all of your help and support. If theres anything you could want form me i can give, let me know." He nodded.

As they all appeared back into the real world, Dante was still unconscious, but recovering quickly. He was no longer sweating, and his skin was regaining it's colour. Shiro pressed her finger to her lips once more. "He may be out for a while. I'm not so sure. I've never seen someone actually survive the curse." Kiera actually smiled down to Shiro. "We really appreciate your help, you know. I can't thank you enough for bringing back my brother." Shiro flapped her hand around. "Oh psshhh. It's my job isn't it? I know all the information, you leech off me." She smirked to Kiera. "Now then, I better get back to my subjects. They must be wondering why I've been gone for a few days." She nodded to them all. "I must say though, thank you for a fun visit." Shiro then disappeared. Kiera looked down to the sleeping Dante and put her hand on his forehead with a sigh of relief. "Back to normal."

*Veria smiled and jumped up happily, "FINALLY! We were almost out of time!" She tossed a clock from her hand behind her and hugged keria and shortstraw in one big hug before letting them go. There were int eh living room, donte on the couch. "Oh yea, and i didn't see the room we were in actully safe... so i erased all the docters minds of us ever being there, I made sure there was no evidence, and i relocated obviously." She clapped, "i'm just happy you made it! What was it like" he looked to keria with admiring eyes. meanwhile shortstraw laughed, "Well there was a part or two you would have loved... too much." He laughed. He looked to keria, "comeon i'm tired and that means your about to drop. Besides we need to get cleaned up... and want to talk to you..." he headed up stairs. Meanwhile eve put a hand on kerias shoulder, "good work sis. We all made a good team." Veria nodded, "i'll keep watch on donte. Night." She waved. Eve even yawned and headed to her room. meanwhile soflora cuddled into Donte, "no need Ms Veria, i'm here, and i'm not letting go..." just like that she passed out.

Evelyn leaned in the doorway just as Kiera was leaving the room. "Ah, he wants to talk to you. That's never a good thing." Kiera smiled to her and actually brought Evelyn into a hug. "I wish you were there. You would have enjoyed it." Evelyn laughed. "I've been there many times before, Kiera. I was born in the fifth layer of hell, you know." Kiera let go of Evelyn and walked past her. "Ironic, that's the layer I was assigned to." Evelyn looked to Kiera. "I trust there was no inconveniences?" Kiera shrugged. "A few. Nothing major." Evelyn watched as Kiera went up the stairs to her room. Once Kiera was out of sight, Evelyn looked down to Dante and Soflora with a small smile.

*Shortstraw was changing when keria came in. When she shut the door he was just puttin gon his shirt, "the final test was to lisen to three people and choose which out of the three was telling the truth..." He looked to her, "in the end you where the answer." He smiled, "funny how that worked huh..." He sat down ont he bed. "Also... what you said on the first levle..."

"I'm going to have to get some new clothes, too. These ones are ripped now." Kiera frowned a little as she moved over to the bed while taking off her shirt. "Please don't ask about it. It was uncomfortable enough to admit it in front of myself. It's something very private to me. As what would have been the same for everyone else when they had to admit something. If you really want to know I guess it doesn't matter now anyway. But.." She slid off her jeans and tossed her clothes into the corner then took a moment to take down her hair. She went to sit down next to Shortstraw and looked to him guiltily. "It was something I want to forget."

*Shortstraw smiled and hugged her then kissed her cheek, "actully i was going to say it was a good thing, becuse that means i really did make that much more of a diffrence to you." He blushed, "also i wanted to tell you somthing that was troubling me..." he looked away, "when the weddings going on there are three areas fo seats... family from both sides, and the public like freinds and stuff... your sides going to be full... the publics going to be full... but my side..." he looked to her alittle sadly, "Will be empty."

Kiera smiled to him as she put her hand on his cheek gently. "Would you prefer it if we went to go and find your family? No doubt if you had any they might know about you by now with all the advertising of our engagement. But is it something you would want? I don't want you to feel like there's a gap there. Especially at our wedding." It still felt a little weird every time she said that. Then she would glance back down to her ring and remind herself that yes, she really was getting married.
