Lucas glanced down at their clasped hands as she squeezed his. Should he squeeze back, or break the contact? He didn't have the heart to do the latter, so he settled for the quickest mirror of the gesture, then cleared his throat."I'm glad,"he replied, and it wasn't a lie. It certainly seemed like she had a hard time meeting people, so at least he could be of some help livening up her daily life. Even in the moonlight he could see the deep pink in her cheeks.
"I have to confess something,"he suddenly blurted out, and immediately regretted saying it. Then he was fumbling for something, anything to replace the truth:I'm not into girls.He wracked his brain, his thoughts, fighting down a light burning in his own face."I... I mean." Think, idiot, think.So, once again, he blurted out the first thing that came to mind.
"I've been wondering why you won't let me see your eyes. Should I be offended, or is this how you are with everyone?"His chuckle was stiff and strained, the smile he attempted coming off more as a grimace. Well, at least that was one plus-side to her keeping her eyes closed.

At this point she couldn't think of an alibi, especially when Lucas saw she wasn't blind when they firs met. Trapped, she decided to confess, after all he was all but kindness towards her. Zoey state, finally getting some of her confidence back as the issue was finally dealt with and the topic was switched back on families. The pink haired girl said while hugging onto him. At that moment it felt just natural. Perhaps she was still caught in the moment in which she held Reuben in arms. For some reason she found herself comfortable around him at this moment and so, hugging him felt just right.
Deep within the park. Daniel managed to lead Lily to a fountain. Since most of the attention was centered on the festival he knew they could get some privacy. "Think it's fair enough here." He commented, smiling while releasing her hand which she most likely retrieved at once just as soon as they got there. Questioning about breaking the one and only rule, Daniel chuckled apologetically. "I'm sorry Treinna san, I just thought it would be better if I show you this alone. Please, do not think ill of me." The boy replied as he would soon take off his shoes and socks. Lifting up his pants so they may not get wet as soon as he stepped into the fountain. With his back towards Lily , he removed his shirt, showing quite the collection of scars he had earned through his work. But regardless of the newest scars, it was the oldest one, that would draw the eye's attention. For it had a shrine seal placed above it. It wouldn't take much to notice said scar was cursed. And if being as perspective as a kitsune could be, it could be detected that madness was sealed within that scar. "Long ago, while I was just a first year. I fought my first witch, but I wasn't strong enough to take her out and ended being cursed by her. " He explained, figuring Lily might just want to skip the boring details, honestly, who had time for a long story. Lily just watched as he would take his shoes and socks off along with his pants being folded up so when he entered the water of the fountain they wouldn't get wet. she sighed crossing her arms only to see him take off his shirt, when he did she noticed the seal on his back she could feel the madness and due to her anti-madness she could feel the burning feeling coming from her hands, as if it was fighting it before it was close. Sick "Lighting" Takumara

Sick laid down on the park bench looking up at the sky. His mind begin to wonder. Even in his third year here. He still haven't found the 'right partner' yet. Sitting up and looking around but nobody was there. Straching his head lightly then laid back down covering his eye's. Toning everything out slowly falling asleep. Just a power nap.
Lucas blinked a little in surprise as she seemed genuinely worried by what he considered a simple, passing statement. Help? None of his issues were really anything she could help with. He knew that. They were all within himself as a person. Nonetheless, he accepted the hug with a little laugh, slinging his free arm around her and clapping her on the shoulder. The way he'd hug a friend.
"Don't worry about me,"he assured her with a playful little jostle. "All my issues are just... general teenage stuff. Embarrassing family, iron-clad dad, trying to find your way in life."Wanting to be liked by everyone, seeking constant attention and affection just to feel like life is worth living, constantly considering running away just so life could be his own. He'd never think of acting upon the latter, and he knew it. His siblings looked up to him, his mother and father loved and needed him, and he had too much that he valued to ever leave it behind. Still, the thought was there.
"Wonder how pissed my folks would be if I stayed out all night,"he mused jovially, his stare as steely as ever as he looked into the sky."I swear, if I had a partner I'd never be home. I'd be out on missions every other night."
