Mothette Avatar34 Well, if your not interested in joining the Task Force, you could help out with the Hogwarts Monthly or talk to Icee about maybe making the calenders for each Term. Re-send it and I'll talk to Icee and see if there was a mistake or anything.

Remember the Entrance Hall is filled with ways to earn housepoints and help out. It's quite simple really. All of the current Heads are people that stepped up at one point (without having someone ask them)

You can find how many posts you've made by clicking members and searching your username

I apologize, I should have reposted here last night. I found it but didnt bother to repost. Please forgive me.
I also had one more thing, Ive seen that some people are eligable to get early sorting. is it possible for me to do that. i don't really wanna start role playing as a house elf because i'm not to sure what kinda character to be as one. I know how they act and behave but I'm really not comfortable being a slave.
I know that the house elves here are treated like people but I still have the thought in the back of my head that im a slave.
What I mean to say is can I do 50+ post without roleplaying and get sorted then start role playing?

Whether it's early or normal sorting, you have to wait for a sorting period. Next one will probably be a normal sorting (at the beginning of each term). You need to have at least 30 posts and have been in the guild for at least 3 weeks.
There are plenty of places to post without roleplaying, such as the discussion subforum, and also places like the event where house-elves are included in all the activities and not really treated differently from the students. Have a look in the Gold Pavilion. You should be able to get your posting requirements for sorting without RPing if you're really against it. biggrin

A normal sorting will begin soon (the date really depends on how soon the eligibility list is ready). You must have the minimum posting requirement to be considered.

So me, Lyra Elizabeth, and techpriest35 got to talking in the recruiting thread about the overall inactivity in the guild. It got me thinking that a little questionnaire could be sent out to everyone, or at least the active members, asking things like what makes them keep coming back to the guild (like what makes them active), what they do and don't like, and what they'd like to see in the future.
Like Lyra said, it would "get input from the active members about what makes them so active, and input from the inactive members about what they would like in the guild that would make them active again." So in the future, the guild could implement some of those ideas.
I realize that there's this thread where anybody can make any suggestions, but I don't think that everyone actually knows that it's here. As tech said, not many people even post, much less look, at this subforum. If you look at the people who actually bother to post here, you'll see that it's mostly the mods of the guild. But with a questionnaire, you could get even more feedback from people other than the super active people.
