"So...the tide of battle comes to greet Baledon Sukiyo once again..." Issildia muttered from where she leaned against a tree, a few steps behind Sin. She lowered her gaze as she slipped on her gloves and readjusted the sword belt at her hip.
"The larovian's will be vulnerable during the battle...Reinsen shall be distracted and share in the same weakness as his army. If there was ever a time to strike him down...now would be that chance..." she said lowly as the battle prepared to commence.

Khastur gave himself time to breathe, his chest ached but a surging resolve slowly began to wash away the discomfort-- he had to give his all for this. Sidling beside Issildia he drew his blade "Then it sounds as if there is no alternative, at your lead Issildia." Standing up straight again he let out a long breathe of air, tightening the straps on his chest plate.

"Are you certain you are well enough to fight?" She asked Khastur, grimly remembering the act of nearly ending his life, the memory bringing no comfort to the current situation.
"Even if we slow the progress of the larovians and have a chance at facing Reinsen...it will be difficult. And after yesterday... Are you sure you are able to do battle?"

Khastur nodded slowly, his muscles tensed and every ounce of him wanted to get some killing done..It was time for him to prove he was still worth something. "I'll be fine-- you're the one who needs to kill Reinsen, that's the only fight on this ground I can't win..."

~In the hieghts of the Citadel, Azure overlooked the scenery once again. His brothers stood their ground as the walls were garrisoned, and the gates to the city sealed. Akilah could only prepare herself for the event to come as she folded thethe blades from the base of her bow. Her arrows shined and sharpened, she tighted her boots and tied her hair while she waited. She looked at Azure, knowing all too well the outcome of this battle. The City would fall, but this did not seem to bother Azure in the slightest.~
Tell me lover, what are you planning?
What was that?
You know as well as I, that this city will not last against both armies. My father's army is enough for either one of you to handle....but Reinsen and Darsha together....this does not bode well for you.
Very good, Akilah. I must say I'm impressed.
You were just using them from the start. The Maharans that follow you, Reinsen, Darsha, and even my father.
So you finally understand. This battle has no true victor. No. This war's only purpose, is to deliver the souls to the depths of the underworld. Thre are five in particular that it longs for. The three that plan to attack this very city, and the two that have been manilupating this war fromt he start. Even now, they seek to unleash a power of which they will have absolutely no control onto this realm. It is a power that only my brothers and I can ever hope to master.
You speak of Nethermancy.
Yes. Have you ever wondered why the three of us are feared so? I will tell you. It is because we three brothers were born of the same flesh. We were born of the same three Dragon Kings. But even with that power, the three of us have already been killed at one point. No mortal can ever hope to trule end us...not here. The only place that we can be killed, is accessible only to those who have crossed the threshold of death. Of the souls we require, only one has the necessary traits. Your father.
You mean?
When he stepped into the tower of truth, he failed to realize that he was in fact being deceived by the tower of Deceit. The knowledge he gained was that of the history of the Nether Realm. He was so far gone in his knowledge that he did not realize that his own life had been taken in the process. How he managed to cross back over, is still a mystery, even to the three of us. But one thing is for certain. The Grim Reaper himself marches upon this world, and unless we deliver the souls to him, he will claim everything this world has to offer.
I see. So in a sense, you are fighting to save this realm?
I am fighting to avoid a conflict that even the three of us cannot conquer. Until we find a way to defeat Meridious, we will share the same goals. But, shoudl the veil be broken...he will have full access to this realm. He will be able to come and go as he pleases.
So what do you predict he will do once he arrives?
What is the fastest way to acquire a quarry that is out of your reach? Force it out.
So you're saying...
Possibly. Even if he did...I doubt this one will be so easily defeated....Well, I see Akurei has made the first move.
What do you mean?
You'll see soon enough.
~At the four corners of the city, there was seen four individuals approaching from each direction. They bore four seperate insignias, but their uniform was indeed trenian. They were none other than Akurei's Four Horsemen...his personal bodyguards had begun a march toward the City of Baledon Sukiyo, but they bore no soldiers. They would fight themselves, and most likely, they would no longer hold back their abilities. They had only one objective...the deaths of Azure and his brothers.~
So the time has finally come. Yige...I will be sure so save you for last.

Sin looked to both Khastur and Issildia and shrugged, his vest steaming lightly as he moved away from the fire.
"I'm here too, and you got my support..... I just think something missing from all of this.... I mean we still haven't even gone into that city Reinsen is so fervently attacking... should we also be concerned with that as well?"

"You forget that I have already been within that city Sin...and there is nothing to be gained in returning there...at least not at this present time." Issildia replied.
"Besides...my father needs little reason to destroy a civilization...why should this be any different." she uttered in a low tone.
"Oh there is always a reason...purpose can be drawn from even the shallowest well. But you would know all about that wouldn't you Issildia." challenged a voice that emanated from the edge of their vision, where the approaching shadows of night clung to every tree, stone, and leaf.
"Luin..." Issildia hissed as she drew her blade; the Ryera necromancer finally stepping into sight.
"A pleasure as always." he replied icily, sparing only a brief glance at Khastur before his attention returned to Issildia.
"What are you doing here Ryera?" She questioned darkly.
Luin's expression changed dramatically as she asked him this, taking on a far more serious facade.
"Due to recent...negotiations." he said, pausing only briefly before continuing. " I have come to grant you information on the larovian forces...tactics, location, numbers...information that you are currently in dire need of...I would imagine."

Khastur's eyes flared and he felt a numbing wave from his sword as he looked to Luin. He wanted to kill Luin then and there, and his proposition was on shaky grounds at the most..Luin surely wanted the Larovian forces to fall, but could he be trusted? Ready to act in a heartbeat, Khastur waited for Issildia to make the call.

"Not interested." Issildia replied flatly as she glanced at Khastur for a brief moment, knowing well that he was on the verge of attacking Luin at that very moment.
"This is already a fool's errand Issildia." he replied coldly. "And for the moment we share a common goal...I assure you that I mean neither you or your companions ill in doing this...We both have something to gain in the event of Reinsen's death...my lands will no longer be threatened by larovian forces...and you could easily take the throne."
When Issildia spoke next, her words were sharp and decisive. "You have never cared for the well being of your people Ryera...they were nothing more than tools to accomplish your goals." Advancing forward a step, Issildia met his gaze. "And I do not wish to assume the throne...never has that possibility guided my actions. "
"Yet you can not deny that Darsha will be no better than his brother should he take your father's place as emperor. You have little choice in this Issildia. And I have a feeling that Reinsen is not your only target...You also seek to destroy Darsha...and should you kill him and neglect the needs of Larovia...The kingdom shall be thrown into anarchy and civil war without a ruler to guide it. There is no alternative...Darsha and his brother are not fit to rule."
"And neither am I." she countered solemnly. "Quit playing upon what you believe my motives to be...and be honest in what you hope to gain in helping us."
"I have already told you, For the moment we both wish Reinsen dead. Granting you and your companions the information you require could tip the scales and grant us the means to an end." Luin replied, addressing the entire group.
