Jakar listened to Marie as he took one of the empty seats, scanning the pilots that sat in the chamber.

A week had passed. Across the stars, the warriors, soldiers, and citizens of the Tett Systems took time to remember the fallen, those who gave their lives in this Sith driven war to keep the dark side out of the home system.
On Ankara the current Jedi Lord, Master Calanon, held a memorial service at the Blue Castle, a service that was broadcast through out the system. Lists of the combat dead were scrolled onscreen along with the broadcast, reminding the people of Tett who had payed the ultimate price for their freedom.
At Point Holocron, the assembled TEF arranged themselves in the triple triangle of the Tett System and maintained that parade position for the rest of the day. Jedi Master Jarik Dulnas read to the fleet a hardcopy of the speech that Master Calanon was reading back home.
Upon Darknon Station, a man wept at the cost of the war.
But the people of Tett were not the only ones to mark the day as a day of rememberance. Ambu Ral's mandalorians, preparing to move against the Sith, drank and feasted in the name of their lost comrades. They remembered friends, brothers, parents, and spouses, kin who had precieded them in death.
In a country graveyard on Carida, a fresh dug grave was visited by a solitary female figure. The marker was plain and white, the emblem of the Jedi Order carved upon it. The owner of the grave was a Pash Antilles, according to the marker. He had lived 24 Caridian years, had been a Knight of the Republic, and had lost his life in service to the Order and the Republic.
Ardee did not linger long over the grave. She considered the frailty of organic life and the confusing irrational nature of humans, a philosophical pondering that took only a few minutes for her powerful processor to think out. And then she left the marker and the graveyard. Time was precious, and she had little of it to waste on the dead.

"At 0200 Galactic Standard Time the Spectre will arrive on the outskirts of the system, just outside of the Republic's sensor range. From there she will launch the Razgriz, who will use their stealth plating to slip in under their nose. The Razgriz will be launched by the new catapults we have set up in the hangar, so they can make their approach without fully powering up, making the chance of them being spotted almost nill.
As they near the Republic fleet, the Lexington will decloak on the other side of the system and launch her fighters. Before those fighters reach the target, she will launch several of the prototype warheads at the enemy, softening up the fleet before the fighters engage it. After the warheads detonate, the Razgriz will power up and attack the Hammerhead AS Gunships. Our offensive relies mostly on fighter support, so these gunships will have to be taken down quickly if we're to have much success."

"I'm glad that we could have this discussion," Marr said to Siren, as the Avatar was being towed into the hangar bay of Demaia's flagship. He then pulled out an large gold amulet from beneath the control panel and begun turning it over in his fingers.
"This is an ancient Sith amulet that my people uncovered on one of the moons of our system. It is meant to protect the wearer, but only from a very specific effect.
I have foreseen many things in my meditation of the Force; some things which have passed, some things that are yet to come. What I do know is that you have a special destiny, a special purpose to fulfill in this time. I know that you, like myself, are unlike many of our compatriots among the Sith. Though there is likely much I would disagree with you upon, I sense a potential within you that gives me some hope for the future.
I truly hope that the bond between you and your sister can be healed. If the rift between one Sith and one Jedi can be repaired, then perhaps the same would be possible for the factions they represent.
I cannot pretend to know what is going to transpire on board this vessel, but I do know that no matter what happens you must continue on. Take this amulet; if it should come to blows between Demaia and I, then I want you to put it on and try and get back to this ship. Escape to Lyra and find sanctuary there. I'll do what I can to ensure that she cannot follow."

The Republic squad that Lucky and Zoe joined up with boarded a shuttle, and headed towards one of the Hammerhead cruisers in orbit around the moon...

It had taken a weak but looking at the reports coming in Bahl realized he'd nearly done it. The Sith forces were in retreat, and now ninety-percent of the planet's surface was secure. Several divisions of the Givin Planetary Defense Forces had switched sides and were even now mercilessly hunting their former allies.
In space the situation had hardly changed, the siege boats were in a polar orbit around one of Yag'Dhul's moons. The Pazak Deck had joined them in the orbit around the moon, and the buzzard wing was regularly patroling the approaches to the planet, but thus far there had been no attempt to break out or run the brigade.
Slowly Bahl took his feet off the desk and walked to the turbolift. "Landing Pad Pi." With the subjugation of the world going so something with only limited assistance from his mercenaries there seemed to be little reason to stay on the ground. So he'd return to the Pazak Deck and leave the final subjugation of sith ground forces to Seleene.
Calmly he walked out to the waiting Punisher-class Corvette and clambered aboard. It'd be a fairly short trip to the ship, just long enough for a minute or two of shut-eye.

They had barely lifted off when the pilot turned in his seat, "Chairman, we've got a priority transmission coming in for you."
Bahl blinked, as he undid his restraints and walked over to the aft compartment hatch, "Put it through back here, they may want privacy."
"Yes sir."
As Bahl closed the hatch behind him he walked over to the transmission console and tapped in a passcode. It flickered for a second as the connection was established.
"Chairman Bahl Seraphim here."

A well groomed elder human male appeared in the holofield, keen eyes gazing at the Chairman. "Good afternoon, Chairman. I trust things are going well. Hope the Fleet Commander didn't give you too much hassel..."

"Nothing that a victory didn't cure." Bahl answered with a slight smile. "We have apprehended the majority of the Givin rebels, but their leader remains at large. Though their capture was not required by the contract I thought being able to deliver those traitors would make for a nice gesture of goodwill."

"Perhaps, but Nabross is a bit thickheaded and stubborn for a Jedi." The man said. "I had to use quite a bit of pull to get him to let you by without further incident."

"For that the Mercenary Coalition is quite grateful. It would be truly appalling if our first operation with the Republic had ended with a battle between us." Bahl glanced at the console before continuing, "We're in your debt for stopping such a disaster. If you have another use for our forces we stand ready."

"That is good to hear." The man said with a steady nod. "As it just so happens, I have a secondary assignment for your organization, should you be willing to impress the Senate with your abilities. How good is the coalition at bounty hunting?"

"Body Count Incorporated includes quite a number of Bounty Hunters and used to do bounty hunting on occasion. Though considering you're asking us I must assume the target is quite well guarded." Bahl bit his lip. If he's asking us the target is liable to have an army under their control.

"I am asking you because of several factors. You have considerable resources in intelligence, material, and personel. Plus there is the fact you do find yourself in my dept. And assuming the target can be brought down, the Mercenary Coalition stands to gain rather signifigantly. Perhaps a Senate seat would be in your reach." "As for the target himself, I don't think any guards he could possess could pose as much a threat as he would."

"We're always up for a challenge. Send me the information you've got on the target and we can get to work." Bahl nodded as he began to think about how he'd pitch this other contract to the rest of the mercenary council.

"Very well. Expect a secure datafile to be sent to you regarding the target. I will expect the utmost secrecy on this matter. Bring the target in alive if possible. If not, then it will be acceptible." With that, the transmission ended. A datafile was uploaded almost immedtaly after.
