"All this gym talk and I haven't even fought one gym leader before!" Seth laughed. "Well it is getting rather dark, we should find a place to crash for the night." Aero flew by Seth and touched its own Pokeball and dissapearing in a flash of red light.

"We could go back to my house again, or we could just go to the Pokemon Center. But first, I wanna talk to my dad, if that's okay with you guys." She smiled at her friends, thankful for their presences.

"No offense Kassie, but I think I'd be better off in the Pokemon Center," Seth said, a large aweatdrop on his head. "And no I don't mind. I'd like to take on your dad if I get the chance, but unfortunatly I don't have any other badges." Seth laughed whole heartly. He stood and awaited Ryka's opinion.

((Heh, I can do that! But he barely knows me. You two are about the only ones who actually talk to me much.))
"I don't really mind where we go. I'm up to anything." Ryka said happily, smiling as usual. "I'd like to talk to your dad too, actually. I'd like to see how he battles; mabye I could figure out a strategy.." She said as she thought about the power of electricity.
"Seth, you really should try a gym battle! You could win, I know it! When we get to Hoenn, I want to try one of these 'contests', so you should be able to at least try one. The contests sound fun!" She beamed as she talked.

"Sounds great. Your gonna love contests, believe me," Seth said towards Ryka. He fished trough his bag until he pulled out a small pass. "My extra contest pass. You'll need it to enter a contest." Seth held out the pass for Ryka.
"Kassie do you think your dad will let me battle him without any badges? It doesn't even have to be a gym battle. I'd like to see how good these gym leaders are." Seth saidas he turned towards Kasiya.

"I'm sure my dad would love to meet you guys, and even have an exhibition match with you, Seth." Kasiya grinned, turning in t the direction of the gym. She wasn't even sure if her dad was back yet. She began to lead the way, and as she walked she realized how odd if was that she suddenly had gone from having only one parent to two. She also still felt angry that she's spent so much of her childhood wondering about her dad, and he'd been practically next door all her life. You shouldn't think like that, a small voice in her head told her. You should be happy that you have each other now, and cherish the time you have. And keep in mind that he was always watching over you, whether you knew it or not. Kassie smiled as she walked. "You're right," she said softly, feeling better already.

"Sounds great," Seth said as he followed Kasiya to the gym. She seemed to halt a bit and then whipered something to herself. Seth shrugged it off deciding it was better to keep quiet. "I wonder what electric Pokemon your dad'll have, well other than his Raichu." Seth had been gone so long from his home region, Kanto, he had forgotten almost everything there. Hoenn had become his second home.

"That's a secret," she chuckled, turning around and winking at him. Of course she knew which Pokemon he possessed, she'd grown up with most of them. I think Seth will be a great challenge for Dad, she thought. Ryka might need a bit more training first, but she's definitely on her way. She turned back around, smiling to herself as they arrived on the doorstep of the gym.

Ryka took the contest pass. "Thank you!" she said, practically beaming.
As they walked up to the Gym, Ryka took in all of the sights and smells of the town. It's so quiet and peaceful, and the smell of the sea water.. It feel so relaxing! She thought. This is the first time I've ever been to a Gym without being worried about a match, though. That's probably why I've never noticed such beautiful things about cities. She snapped out of thought and ran to catch up with her friends, who were almost on the porch. She ran in between them and flung her arms around their necks. "I hope our friendship never ends. I'm so happy to have such great friends like you guys!" Ryka exclaimed, without a clue to where all of this was coming from.

(( Sorry I have done post count in a while guys. I'm really busy with my research paper. ^^;; ))
"Aww, why didn't I see that one coming," Seth said with a soft chuckle. Without realizing it he clenched his fists as they arrived before the gym doors. I hope Aero and the rest of the gang can handle Surge. But what stragity would I use?
Seth was pushed forwards with great surprise. He began to laugh though a he realized what was happening. "I agree!" he beamed.

((We understand. Don't worry about it. We're in no rush.)) Kasiya reached out for the handle of the big, brass-plated doors, but to no avail. It was still locked. "He's not back yet," she said sadly, looking at the ground.
"Rai! Raichuuu!" a voice cried out, and suddenly Kasiya was knocked to the ground by a brown blur.
"What the heck? Ohh! It's Raichu!" she giggled, hugging the mouse Pokemon tightly. Raichu nuzzled her affectionately, making happy noises as it did so. She looked around, and saw her dad coming towards them, a broad smile on his face.
"You should feel privileged," Surge joked. "I never even get that kind of welcome from him."

For the second time in les than five minutes Seth was utterly suprised. "That Raichu seems really fond of you Kasiya," Seth joked. "You have a Pikachu of your own don't you?" Seth asked remembering the battle it had put for Aero.

"Aww, it's so cute! It really like you, Kassie." Ryka said, looking down at the Raichu. She then looked up at Lt. Surge and smiled. "Hello, sir!" She said cheerfully.

"I sure do," Kasiya smiled, holding Raichu with one arm and taking one of her Pokeballs. "No hard feelings, then," she giggled, releasing her Pikachu. Shocker blinked, and looked around, happy to be outside. "I grew up with Raichu," she said, watching the two electric Pokemon play. "I don't even remember a time when he was a Pikachu." She looked up at Surge. "These are my friends, Seth and Ryka," she said, nearly forgetting her manners. "We've been traveling together for a while now."
"Nice to meet you both," he nodded, studying them both. "You both look as though you're talented trainers."
