I still refuse to learn to cg..
Because people tend to forget all about the linework when a picture is cg'd.
You can draw a basic picture with basic linework..
be better at cg-ing than you are with the actual pencil..
And it'll come out looking like a masterpiece.
And people think it's the artist's pencil work.
Pfft.

Computer stuff isn't for everyone. But I have to say it wouldn't nearly have been so nice to shift over if I hadn't known how to draw in pencil first

I'm not gonna say cg-ed pictures don't look good.
I just get confused when someone displays some work.. and someone hails it as the best thing since sliced bread...
When if you took the same picture.. and have not colored it at all.. it looks like.. "um.. it's nice"

"um.. it's nice"   The work in porogress was changed several times as he asked me if the details were correct before colouring it. Thats the final work in progress piece.
