With a small pop, Ziven appeared near the training grounds. Standing shyly toward the outer part of this area, she watched with quiet curiosity as the others spoke. Realizing she was not interrupting practice, she approached them slowly. bobbing her head.

A pair of firm warm hands laid on Ziven's shoulders. The heat they generated was likely to give it away anyhow. Yawgmoth always did have a higher internal body temperature than most beings simply because of the constant energy flow through his form. "This isn't a place for a bookworm like you. Run along and be good girl. You could get hurt. Sure, we certainly wouldn't harm you here because it's just for training, but we don't have to take it easy on you either now do we?" his sinister voice echoed as his hands detached themselves from her small shoulders and the heat generated from behind her faded while he stepped back. "Tell you what. You're here, we're here. Why don't you show us what you've learned? If you manage to land a blow on us, we'll uh" Yawgmoth tilted his head in ponder. She was training under Aliator after all, he had to see the fruits of Ali's labor first hand. "We'll do something special for you. At your request. Care to take our bet?"

Ziven's entire body stiffened when she realized who had come up behind her. She inhaled deeply, trying to remain calm, appearing at ease with herself in this place after hearing his proposal. "We have been focusing on strength and agility. We have yet to explore how to .. land a blow. Though he showed me places to aim for on the body and I have basic knowledge of what to do from observing and brief experience before." she replied, trying to sound confident when she was in fact not.

"Dexterity is key. We ourselves aren't very dexterous. But we utilize our large leg muscles to move fast. Be tensing the muscles when the foot rises and upon the moment of contact with the ground releasing that tension. That's how we crush the ground when we go to move like that if you were ever curious. We will be using this method against you. Because we're not here to harm you. You will be the only throwing blows. We will simply attempt to dodge and stop you from landing said blows. Do you agree to these terms?" Yawgmoth explained with an all too familiar glint in his eye. Despite how evil his intentions looked, he was at least able to keep his word on things. Even she couldn't deny that. Cracking his knuckles and then his neck side to side he waited for her reply. Hoping that she'd accept. He really wouldn't hit her, only catch her fists if he was presented with the opportunity and dodge.

Considering the options, she was both curious and intimidated by this .. offer. She realized that there would be a possibility that he would change his mind at any moment, that he would strike. Morbid curiosity set in though, what if he were to? How well would she be able to take it?

Slowly she gave a nod, looking to him with an odd mixture of confidence and worry .. two emotions that should not be present at the same time but they were. She did not know how much she would want to go about this and figured it would be better to say so beforehand rather than get a nasty surprise later on.
"Very well. We shall try .. for a short time." she said softly.

A moment later, her scarf faded and was gone, as were her laurels. They were frivolous accessories that had the potential to distract or get in the way. Though her top was long, it was tight enough at the waist and hips that even if she were to be upside down, the ends would not go over her face and the pants would certainly be no problem for her. She vaguely thought of what might happen if the spare fabric were to be used as an advantage by Yawg but as he said he would only dodge and try to stop her, assuming she would be blocked, she decided to stick with what she had. It would be easy enough to change her attire later if necessary and it would also be nice to see for herself what it would be like trying to move in different clothes.

Yawgmoth slowly undid the buttons on his shirt, one by one as if he were taunting her with each one. Finally he tossed the garment onto the floor and cracked his neck rolling his chest muscles out a little. Next the two boots came off so that he wore only pants. His tail swept the clothes aside and he began to bounce in place a little. "Whenever you're ready. But because we're going to help Ali educate you by being your ...how shall we say unofficial proctor to test your abilities. Here's a tip. We're big, but we aren't slow. Keep this in mind at all times. Or you will not lay a hand on us." He advised. The heels of his feet started to lift higher off of the ground with each bounce. "Ready when you are. You are the assaulter so the first move is yours."

Inhaling deeply, she rolled her shoulders, moved her arms and torso some before bending down to a crouched position. Fluidly, she transitioned from this brief series of stretches to deciding what option to take. With the bouncing Yawg was doing hetting higher from the ground, she would have a fraction of a second more time for the element of surprise. She waited until he was in the process of jumping up again, launching herself forward as he jumped. If her timing was right, her shoulder would collide with his abdomen and thigh - much like a football player tries to tackle the opponent. It would not knock him over, but it would certainly get his attention.

Yawgmoth's eye glinted for a moment, my my Ali was a good teacher he thought. That was almost flawlessly thought out. Though her efforts were in vain. Yawgmoth's body weight caused him to fall faster than most since he was nearly three-hundred pounds of meat. And if she had ever watched him run or fight before she should know that it took for him to move was one heel. The moment one of his heels hit the ground the ground shattered beneath him and began breaking up the dirt to the left of where he stood. Though he was faster her strategy was perfect in the end. He had gotten away from her with his speed yes, but not without cost. Dashing directly to the left or right while facing forward meant he had to step sideways and then turn himself. Such was not without strain for the very same weight that let him fall faster also put more pressure on his joints and bones which is why he was slower than the person who taught him how to move like that. Yawgmoth seemed to 'appear' to the eyes of humans about ten yards to the left of where he stood before, breathing a little heavier than normal since his left ankle was throbbing from the pressured turning to run in that direction that fast. Yawgmoth didn't speak a word and just waited for her to continue her assault, given that she didnt fall flat on her face in the small crater he'd left where he stood of course.

That .. did not turn out how she had expected but none the less, she reacted to the change. With no body to collide with, she had to tuck and roll upon touching the ground again or she would skid to a stop, which would be most uncomfortable. Arching a brow ever so slightly, she wondered if she had more of an impact than she realized. It seemed unusual to her that he had nothing to say .. perhaps he was hiding something. This, she would need to test. Again she advanced, this time her movements were slightly toward her right, almost as if she were moving away from him. Once closer, she dodged left with a slight jump, again lunging toward him but this time holding her right hand out. If she were lucky, her hand would make contact. If not, she would be prepared for no body to collide with, having a leg .. well .. hand up on the next attempt in place.

Yawgmoth's crimson glare was focused, his black pupils danced watching every little movement she made. This time he wouldn't have to move since he was stationary. He decided to teach her a little something about using her own momentum against her. She held her right arm out which would be her downfall. Yawgmoth's body strafed to the right since she came lunging from right to left the right side would be a safe spot. Reaching his own hand out he made an attempt to clasp onto her extended arm at the wrist. Since she was in mid air with no extra appendage and no wings this would be simple to accomplish. Once clasped he rotated ninety degrees and simply let go. This would cause her to launch off of him creating a sling shot effect. The impact on the ground wouldn't cause too much harm since she was lighter and he hadn't added any extra strength into the throw because he was there just to dodge and be a target.

She winced slightly at the feeling of his grasp, though he placed no significant pressure on her, the momentum felt like pinching, but she was undamaged. Landing on her toes, she ignored the discomfort from her arm, knowing it would pass in a moment and again ran toward him, not jumping or lunging, waiting for the moment he would move. First she would try to strike with her right hand again, as it was the hand she preferred, but would take up her left leg, kneeing him in the abdomen.

His movements were purely reactionary, meaning that he would move only according to what he saw her do. Once more his eyes were focused. On such a part of her body that it allowed all four limbs to be seen. That if one were to move they were see it begin. Right hand, then a knee. He saw. This shouldn't be too hard. The knee would be harder to stop than a hand. Yawgmoth's own hand shot out in an open palmed fashion and caught her fist gripping his fingers around it. The knee was taken care off by his tail of course. The extra appendage lashed out like a whip grabbing the bottom of her ankle and pulling downward so that her leg would forcefully straighten out and the knee would not make contact with his skin. "You're actually doing quite well" Yawgmoth commented so long as he had her held there. "If we didn't have a tail that might've worked. We told you once before you had the brains. Now you're actually using them in combat. Isn't it wonderful?" Yawgmoth asked as he shoved his hand forward letting go of her fist and removing his tail as he stepped back a foot or so to place some distance. "You're almost there. You keep coming close. Try again."

Her lips twitched, it was a small sign of discomfort from being pulled when she did not expect it. Landing, she had an idea. Crouching as she had the first try, she lunged again, blue eyes watching, waiting until the very last moment to see where he moved to. When this was known, two pops would be heard, she was now on his right, momentum carrying through, her shoulder would surely collide with his own. Now her greater concern would be how pissed off he might get that she used magic.

Yawgmoth's eyes were focused and he waited for a muscle movement. When she vanished his brain immediately called to his tail which struck out behind him in attempt to stop any motion back there as going behind one's opponent was usually key since they were blind. It was too late for any reaction after that since he hadn't expected her to go to his sides, his peripheral vision caught it but not fast enough as she smashed into his shoulder it would be like hitting a brick wall. Sure he moved a bit stumbling towards the direction her body moved him in but he was so much larger that even with her momentum he wasn't moving very far and likely her shoulder would suffer more impact damage. But, she'd hit him. "Well now. We certainly didn't expect you to come from behind. This entire time we were waiting on you to pull some dumb trick and appear behind us, we were ready for it. We are sure you saw our tail strike out when you vanished, but coming from the side? We didn't even think you'd go there. We see that Ali has taught you well though. We hope you aren't too roughed up."

Shock from both the physical and logical realization tht she had done it took form in a soft sort of squeak as she rather slid don his massive form, landing nimbly on the fround. Immediately her left hand was on her right shoulder, her right ar, resting still beside her. Nothing broke but it sure hurt like hell, she did her best not to let this shw further than her action of holding. "A few moments of pain in exchange for the experience of trying is a small price to pay. Thank you, I am certain he would be pleased to hear such a compliment from you." she said softly, bobbing her head. Looking up, she realized how much time had passed. "It is time for rest .. and a little healing. Until next we meet, farewell." she said respectfully, bobbing her head. Unless he had something drastic to say, she disappeared with a small pop a moment later.
