She sighed and her whole body relaxed at the kiss. She closed her eyes and opened them as if waking from a dream when he kissed her hand.
"I could, But I don't know how. Just like I don't know how to tell Lina My tattoo is gone.. for good." She sighed deeply and looked away from him, her eyes distant and melancholy.

She returned the kiss, letting her arms release him before holding his hand, "Yes, we should. Now..shall you take me home now?" Lina asked, quite thoroughly enjoying her part in the date.
If Seth wasn't so good at taking surprises, he would have backed away in surprise. Instead, his eyes widened slightly, "How is that possible? Even I cannot take my Symbol off. It only comes back. Are you sure it's gone?"

She smiled softly and held out the skin that she'd magicked off her back.
"Pretty sure. I don't want to be in this society anymore." She gave a wistful smile. "It's time for me to leave and disappear again into the humdrum of humanity again for a few more years. I can't do that with every vampire who sees me saying that I was a Lotus." She shakes her head.

Remus's smile grew a little more and he began leading her further into the city. They eventually came to a large courtyard. "This is another one of my special places." He led her to a wall and pulled away some vines. A small tunnel stood behind them.

Leila smiled. Too easy.. Plus I don't know if I'll tell her.. She looked away, her face becomming saddened. It's just.. It was great when there was a hope they would come back, not a possibility.. Now we're on teh verge of throwing ourselves into a hole.. And I don't know if we'll resurface from this one..
She sighed. I don't want to leave.. for obvious reasons.. but I don't know if I belong.. I don't think the same way as most of those in our clans.. not like a one of them

Remus winked at her. "Only one way to find out." He pulled her through, guiding her through the twists and turns he knew so well. After a short while, a small glow appeared at the end. They emerged into a small garden. There were a few trees, and flowers were everywhere. A small bench sat next to an elegent fountain in the center. "I don't know why this place was forgotten, but I've yet to see anyone else come here."

She will find out either way. Seth said, watching her closely. She's a powerful spellcaster and I have no doubt she can tell when on eof her spells has stopped...and what hole are you talking about? He asked, moving to face her again. Troden has only said a few things about it. He then raised an eyebrow. And a clan always has different thoughts. It's impossible not too. You shouldn't care about that.
Lina grinned, following him closely, her curiousity growing as the light became brighter. She gasped as she looked around, such a beautiful place hidden deep insde this city, "It is a rare sight to see such a thing without the help of magic." she said, admiring all of the place with her eyes.

"That's the very reason I used to come here so often. Plus it's quiet." He moved a little deeper in, looking at the flowers. He knelt by a small clump of them and picked a blue and white flower. He walked back to her and carefully put it in her hair. "Do you like it here?"

Which is why I don't need to tell her.. The hole is all of our kind scrabbling for different goals and trying to kill each other in the process. One of us hates the other, the other hates back, the first draws a blade and then we're embroiled in a fight to the death, where I don't see us emerging as a race to be respected, but one to be hunted and exterminated by more powerful ones.. It frightens me Seth, to my very core..
She looked up into his eyes, her own glittering with fear, not for herself, or of him, but for their race as a whole. She feared as only a mother would.
