Lily sat down at one of the guns while he paid with tickets for them to play when it started she just looked at him when he fired it first, she just looked at it and pressed the button, having the ball hit two of the teeth at a time "huh...this is surprisingly easier than i thought... she would shoot another one where as it went to the exact same spot making her not hit any more "hmmmm" she muttered before trying again hitting the same spot.

The boy observed with amusement how Lily managed to learn the launcher's mechanism but still struggle with the aim. "You can move the canon around to change the course of the ammo." Said Daniel while demonstrating with his own that the launcher could change directions, rotate sideways or lift up or down. "with that you can change the course where the ammo would be shot at." He said before shooting another tooth down.
Lily looked at him "look...i really dont care how you do it...i'm aiming for the throat" she told him whether or not it was the real reason or not was up for debate "yet i cant seem to hit the throat..."

Lily shrugged "because its the target hiding behind the target...its how most fights or targets work...theres bound to be one target hiding behind the obvious targets" she explained "or so thats what i believe anyways"

"Hmmm" Daniel looked thoughtful for a while, but he soon chuckled and shrugged. "Not sure about that, but hey who am I to talk, I never tried it out in reality." He commented as he observed Lily trying her best against this hidden target. As he waited he took another takoyaki ball and offered some to Lily. "Lily san, say ahh" He chuckled, holding the treat near her so she wouldn't distract herself from her target to eat.
Lily would keep firing it at the same place, which would show a bit of frustration from her expression, whether or not it was what she was saying being the cause regardless it was frustrating her, soon he would tell her to say ah which made her look at him "excuse me?" she asked looking at him as she rose an eyebrow

"Mm?" Puzzled by Lily's reaction, he finally realized after giving a little thought. "Oh, well, you can't take the takoyaki and shoot at the same time, so I thought about helping out a little." Daniel explained with a soft laugh. "Don't tell me you are embarrassed of it."
Lily kept her eyebrow raised "but i can always stop and eat when the time comes...i mean this isn't timed so there can be breaks" she told him as she grabbed the food from him and ate it "nope...no embarrassment what so ever...since i dont have to do it"

"Really now?" He chuckled before leaving the takoyaki near her, otherwise she might starve at this rate, or chop his hands. Daniel sit there and watched Lily play the next round.
Lily nodded "pretty much" she stated as she finished the ammo "hmmmm...well that was anti-climatic" she stated bluntly as she would eat more of the takoyaki

Upon this rough start, Daniel decided to take things with ease. Having realized that perhaps he was pressuring Lily to act more... normal. "So, that was what Cedrick meant." Finally realizing his words, Daniel wished he could had come to said conclusion earlier, it would had saved him the embarrassment of dealing with a defensive Lily.
Come to think about it, Vivira had also warned about it. The main point was : He wasn't honest himself either. Sure he asked her for a date, but honestly, how much did they knew about one another? Back then they were friends to some point, but, besides those calm and enjoyable moments of silence they used to share, what else did they really knew about one another?
Ashamed of his self awareness now, he remained quiet for most part of the time, leading Lily through most of the games and stances. And for some reason, the silence itself was more enjoyable than his attempts trying to force a conversation.
After all, she was his dear Lily, how could he force her to open up herself when he wasn't that open either. Perhaps, Cedrick was right, this was rushed. It too soon for this to happen. ... But not to Late.
Looking at Lily, he extended his hand and took hers.
"Please, follow me, there's something I need to show you."
He indeed promised to avoid touching her, but right now, there was no helping it. It was silly, but, he had something be honest with himself. Wether he gets rejected or not, he would not be limited by the fear or Lily neglecting him any longer.
He had said something himself earlier. To make every single second with her worth it. And so, he led Lily to a fountain, that is, if she would allow it. But even so, at this rate, being scolded by her wouldn't be that much of a deal, in fact, it would paint a smile on Daniel's face... Just like in old times.
Lily would just participate at each place but would soon be lead to the fountain, she would remove his hand from hers "you know i said no touching" she would reply sighing as she looked at the fountain "so whats with the fountain that made you break my one and only rule?" she asked him

Although Lucas' face didn't show it, his mind was whirring with thoughts, confusion and worry. He'd assured Zoey that he would in fact be free tomorrow and that he'd greatly enjoy seeing her again. However, after the friendly kiss he'd given her, she had reciprocated. Perhaps he shouldn't read to deeply into it, he told himself, but the way her cheeks flushed, the gentleness of her fingertips against his face had communicated more than that. He swallowed hard at the thought, and managed his usual vague smile when she'd assured him that he could meet her family tomorrow.
Now they were strolling through Death park in the early hours of night, arm in arm and alone. Wow. Wow, he'd been dense. Taking her to a night club, leading her around, having her over for dinner to meet his parents, and now this? God, he was such an idiot... he'd probably given her the entirely wrong idea. He didn't feel uncomfortable so much as guilty. Perhaps it was arrogant, but he'd... well. He'd gotten used to female affections he didn't reciprocate. Couldn't reciprocate. And she seemed so sweet too. It would be cruel to break it to her so soon, especially if it turned out he was wrong. Then he'd just come across as foolish and vain.
"It's a nice night,"he offered after a too-long silence, looking to the sky. He didn't dare communicate any of his thoughts. Instead he decided to lead her over to a bench where they could stargaze off their feet, but without the romantic comedy-esque position of sprawling in a grassy field.
Sitting by his side, Zoey released just part of Lucas's arm. Holding onto his hand regardless, while leaning against the bench, the night was cool rather than cold which was nice. And so it was the starry sky, if only she could open her eyes. "Yes, it's really nice..." She answered with a soft smile, squeezing Lucas's hand with her own as she turned her face on his direction. "I had a lot of fun today." She confessed, the pinkish cheeks wouldn't seem to go away anytime sooner. It was interesting, to think she could meet someone outside her family. Someone only she knew about. It was nice. The thought of it was a precious memory, which she emphasized by placing her free hand against her chest. This might give Lucas weird ideas but she had done so with the best of intentions. Still, for some reason she felt a little jealous of Lucas, feeling it was too soon to introduce him to her family. After all she wanted to know a little more about him. After all her sisters and mother would most likely be asking stuff. The curious bunch could even end up knowing more about Lucas than she did. Which sprout this sense of jealousy. After all she knew her sisters already had friends outside their family. For once she wanted to have a friend of her own.
