You can't apply to be a teacher just yet, but when we open Sign ups, you'll need to apply in the Hogwarts' Staff Room, located in the classrooms subforum. Here's a link, but be sure to read everything first, just so you're aware of the duties and such. ^^

Suggestion: let's have another event soon that involves fighting some magical problem thing. Like the snowmen or *tries to remember the other one from when I first joined* anyway something. Like umm Valentine's Day coming up, attack of the valentines or something! Or at the end of term to help keep activity up during break! Please? Please? Pleeeeeeeeeeeease?
And btw, I love the lottos! We should do them more often!

Mothette Suggestion: let's have another event soon that involves fighting some magical problem thing. Like the snowmen or *tries to remember the other one from when I first joined* anyway something. Like I mentioned to the mods just now....
Personally I would LOVE to do another event like that. BUT it always sucks when NO ONE participates and practically NO ONE helps. That's why we created the taskforce and those members are being AWESOME... but it's only so much they can do.
As for the fighting game: It seems like that's pretty easy, but it's not. It's a lot of updating and checking pages and whatnot. Time consuming to say the least. Honestly though I'm just being pessimistic. We'd probably do something like that for the End of Term event. There's always a few mods helping out....although they're already stretched thin too.

When I do events I strive for short simple and one person capable of doing the background work.

Last time I offered to help, I was told if I did I wouldn't be able to participate. So it's kind of like, would you rather have one person less to help, or one person less participating? And the it's not all exclusive either, I mean, the less people participate, the less people need to help. I guess I want to have my cake and eat it too...(help & participate)

@Oshen: your cases are the exceptions. you're one of the select few who's ALWAYS giving a helping hand.
@Mothette: I can't recall off the top of my head...but if we're tlaking about events with fighting games, lottos, etc....then people who help are also going to be able to participate. That also includes avatar contests.
And that event you wanted to help out with was the FW thing where Tina wanted a secret and whatnot. That's why we couldnt' get much help.... but that was most likely a one time thing.

It was because of FW and everything being so secretive. If it had been something else, we would have been more then happy to let you help out.
