Having a natural affinity for the earth element has probably helped Ayame mastering the accompaning seal. She smiled and stretched, her legs were starting to fall asleep as she had been sitting in the sae place since the beginning of her training.

Standing she stretched and made sure her legs were getting blood pumped to them. Having stretched and rested a little somewhat she moved onto the next handseal.

The first thing the students needed to learn were the handseals that made the Jutsus possible. So I set them to learning all twelve. The rules are as follows: Roll 1d20 for each seal, one at a time. They must get a 12 or higher in order to correctly perform a seal. Each seal must be performed once correctly before being learned. Use the formula: [1d20 + Int Mod].

Ayame sighed. Having achieved several handseals correctly in a row had shot up her confidence. Now that it was back to several tries before she was able to master them her confidence had dropped dramatically

Ignoring the now ever growing doubts within her she performed the hand sign again hoping that she had completed it correctly. And to think that i was thinking my self a fully accomplished shinobi.... I shouldnt dream so wildly... She repremanded herself in her thoughts

So after all the work on the other seals the one iv had the most trouble with is the horse.... Whats so difficult... Nows not the time to dwell on the difficulty of the training! She thought frowning as she read over the instructions for this particular seal yet again. She had missed out on one crutial part to this and shook her head. No wander i havnt been able to get it... She thought shaking her head.

Determined not to let this particular seal defeat her she tried again, a frown of intense concerntration on her face.

Ayame laughed, "Third time lucky..." There was a very small hint of humor in her words but other than that there was nothing significant in her words.

This time she read over the next seal in great deatil making sure she missed nothing before she started in trying to relpicate the seal herself. She had even reread it incase her careful study missed out something that would be vital for achieving the next seal. Taking one last look at the illustration she nodded to herself then began.

Ayame frowned and looked over the scrolls again. She was sure she had done the correct handseal. She looked over the scroll trying to find a fault in what she did without success.

Taking yet another deep breath she controlled her growing fear and began again with the sign she was on.

Ayame smiled. She only had 4 more handseals to learn and she would be finnished with the first lesson. She read over the last 4 seals before trying the next one in line.

Concerntrate... Concerntrate... Concerntrate.... She repreated over and over in her mind as she practised the seal.

Ayame sighed. She hadnt constructed the seal appropriately thus failing. She was starting to get annoyed with herself but forced herself to continue despite all the things that seemed to her would prevent her from completing the task.

Closing her eyes for a brief few moments she calmed down her nerves and started the seal again.

Tenma's most recent attempt could only be labelled as pathetic. No, whatever was worse than pathetic. As she approached the log the girl had promptly stopped, at least she knew she couldn't get over it the way she was trying to. With a sigh she realized, in relation to her own height, how "huge" this log actually was. Oh well, she would just have to keep trying. At least she waslked away without any cuts or scrapes this time. There was a positive.

Another attempt, and another sudden hault. She had let the damn size of the log get into her head. Tenma knew she couldn't be pulling this garbage if she was going to be the shinobi she knew she could be. With a solid thump the girl hit herself in the back of the head. Not only was she knocking any ideas out of her head but she was also attempting to get her head back where she knew it was supposed to be.

Taking in a deep breath the girl stepped off the distance and steeled herself for another try, though there should be no "steeling" required.

Landing with her typical tumble Tenma checked herself over. There was only a shallow scratch on her palm, it wasn't a big deal. Then again, it also met she had managed to fail again. As she dusted herself off the girl noted that she simply wasn't getting high enough. Somehow she would have to get a better lift. Or she could just jump higher, that would work too.

Without any hesitation the girl started from where she had tumbled to, which was a bit closer than her previous attempts. Tenma ran the task over in her mind: jump higher. Surprisingly, and pleasantly so, she had managed to make it over the log. Now she had two of her attempts down and only three to complete. The task suddenly seemed a bit more "do-able".

Taking another step out the child shortened her distance for another try with a slight renew in enthusiam.

Ayame frowned. She had thought she had completed this seal correctly but it had turned out that it wasnt going to be completed just yet. The seals were diffcult now but it didnt phase her as much now as it previously had as she was now looking at the task in a differant light than before.

Her determination had been the key to her success as far and she knew it would carry herself out to what she knew would be a worth while shinobi carreer. She took a deep brathe and attempted the seal yet again

Ayame couldnt determine why she wasnt getting the handseal. She knew it had something to do with her mindset. She wasnt concerntrating on the task as hard as she should.

Well thats going to change now... no more thinking of what should be but rather what is... She thought to herself as she did the handseal yet again.

The same result. Ayame was beginning to become frustrated and she refused to believe that a single handseal was so difficult. She was metally repremanding herself for not paying close attention to what she knew was her flaw. "Keep going... its just a handseal... you'll get it eventually..." She muttered to herself as she redid the seal.

Adding another fail to the list Ayame sighed and lay on the grass facing the sky for a bit whilst she thought, This isnt going to be getting easier... it will only become harder after this... She wasnt in her best of moods but her avid determination to become a great shinobi kept her frustration at bay, for the time being.

Sitting up again she looked at the scroll and nodded to herself absolutly determined to complete this lesson.
