Well, here goes nothing. My character's name is Akira. Yeah, I dunno about a last name. Might not add one at all. Is that okay?

====RP SAMPLE====

Akira sat down in the shade of a his father's shop and leaned against a wall. It had been a hot, summer day and he HATED it. Of course, the temperature had cooled as the sun started to set. Good thing, because Akira would have freaked out if it was still as hot as it was earlier.

The male passed the time by watching people go back in forth. Of course, he couldn't help but critique those same people. Everyone was looking decent in his mind until a particularwoman walked into view.

She looked to be in her mid-thirties, was height-weight proportionate, and was very beautiful to look at... until he saw what she was wearing. The woman wore a yellow shirt with green polka dots,a blue paisley-designed skirt, and purple 3-inch heels.

One thing popped in Akira's mind... what was she thinking?!

The male decided to pick on the woman, but in a nonchalant way.

He gave a slight wave of his hand as he looked at her. "Hi."

The woman looked at Akira then looked away and continued walking. No smile, no response, NOTHING. Of course, this angered the male a bit.

Akira rolled his eyes and faced the opposite direction as he thought to himself.

"Don't be rude to me because YOU stepped out of the house looking five different types of crazy!"

Akira chuckled a bit under his breath then sighed as he leaned more against the wall of the store.

((Hiro Knight-Ieviathan doesn't exist! I'm gonna be stuck here forever! crying ))

Hiroko strolled lazily through the gates blowing the hair from his eyes. It was good to home, and good to be so close to his bed. As he walked he arched his back like a cat, and the sound of an orchestra of bones sounded, cracking like popcorn. He looked over the small town, there was a light rain falling, not bad enough to be a nuisance, but wet nonetheless, so he looked over the street for a place to seek shelter until the short rain passed. "The ramen shop should do nicely." And with that Hiroko headed into Ichiban Ramen.

Once in the ramen shop he sat down and ordered without looking at the menu, "May I please get a bowl of shio ramen and a saucer of rice wine." He smiled as two long and narrow bones came out of his right hand and set the makeshift chopsticks down. This was the very meaning of contentment, a successful mission, a reward, and the knowledge that things could only get better from here. Beautiful. Hiroko began to get lost in thoughts of ecstasy as he thought about these things, only to be snapped out of it by the beautiful waitress delivering his ramen and wine. Yes, contentment indeed.

Hiroko quickly slurped down the salty ramen and the sweet rice wine. He determined that the wine was to watered down and decided to replace it with water after his first saucer, and once his ramen was finished he stood and dropped the money on the table, overtipping the ramen shop for their good ramen and the cute waitress. As Hiroko looked out into the street he still saw the light rain, but the sun was shining brightly in the sky now, so he went out into the street, sticking to the left in an effort to avoid the rain, and once the small rain passed he stepped out. He wasn't to far from the Otokage's office now and it was due time to turn in the evidence of his successful mission, so he picked up the pace and jogged off to the Otokage's office to drop off the traitor's head.

Upon arrival Hiroko knocked at the door, "Master Otokage sir, I've returned with the traitor's head." He waited for a short while without response before opening the door to the Kage's office to see a site that would forever be burned into his eyes. The Otokage lay dead on the ground, his head removed and a note pinned to his back with a knife. It was truly sickening to see, and for once Hiroko did not know what to do next.

Wasn't that the same RP sample you used to apply for the guild? If so, please make another one so we can see your diversity. 3nodding

Kusari Korosu
Squad Seven Drunkard

User Image
Kusari sat down with the book he had borrowed from squad thirteen. "They key to drunken fist martial arts is a fluid yet unpredictable movement that is similar to a drunkard. It is often a misconception that practitioners of the drunken fist are actually drunkards, but this is merely and assumption. The fact is that a practitioner of Zui Quan, the primary Drunken fighting style, never drink alcohal, but give off the impression that they do." He looked at his lemon and lime water that he passed off as sake. "Check." He began to study the basic moves, although they were few, and began as the book told him to.

"Find your center." Kusari relaxed his breathing, clearing his head as he took a drink of his water. Everything seemed to faded away into the distance like a gentle bird. "Relax." He was already relaxed, but the mere mention of the word seemed to melt his entire body until it felt like fluid almost. Kusari was glad as he looked over the next few steps, glad that he worked out that is, this style seemed very dependent on his core muscles.

Kusari picked up the book once more. "The stances of Zui Quan resemble a drunkard holding his cups in front of him." Kusari acted as if he was holding a bottle in his right hand and firmly gripped his sake bottle in his left. He exhaled strongly as he shifted his weight back slowly before bringing it into a steady jog of back and forth movements. He began to experiment with his hand placement, but no matter how he spun it the only comfortable positioning was a very loose stance with his hands fighting to stay up in front of him.

Then Kusari tried to work in natural combat with this stance. First he threw a punch and practically launched himself forward from the momentum that this stance put behind his punches. Perhaps this was a wiser choice than he had originally thought. Next he tried a kick, but alas it was not nearly as good. This instantly shattered all the hopes he had only just formed moment ago as it became obvious that kicking from a mid range style, meaning standing, would be an impossibility at this point in time.

Kusari continued to practice punches for a while before picking up the book once more to move on to the next section. "This section covers the single most important skill you will learn in Zui Quan. Recoveries. A recover is the bounce back after a fall, and in order to be truly successful in Zui Quan you need to be able to get up from anything." Kusari laid down on the ground as if he were about to do sit ups and waited a moment before trying the first recovery. His legs swept backwards and swung forwards, causing the momentum to lift him up. Kusari stumbled lightly, before falling back again and rolling to his side to grab the book again. "Side roll recovery leap." His eyes widened as he looked over the complicated maneuver. He rolled to the other side before rolling back to double check, and shaking his head he rolled back and began. He began to do log rolls side to side, gaining speed and feeling the momentum as he did so. Eventually he gained the confidence to attempt the impossible looking gravity defying leap, but in all honesty there were few things that were impossible to the human body.

The Birth of Mako

The sky had not been seen for many days. Instead a black wall of clouds hung over the heads of many. The sea was dark and the tide was peaceful. Everything was calm. A husband stood beside his wife holding a dagger above her. He didn't want to do it but, it had to be done. Tears rolled down his face wishing there was something that could distract him from what he was about to do but, there wasn't. Not the crashing of the tide on the rocks below or the howl of the wind to muffle her pleading. No, nothing at all. Mother nature would not spare him the horror and mother nature wanted him to know it. Setting down the dagger he pressed his hands together and began to pray but, someone grabbed his shoulder. The man turned around to find it was the tribal chieftain who had done so. Looking him in the eyes the chieftain shook his head. "Real predators do not pray. They hunt." Looking down at the dagger the chieftain picked it up and placed it in the mans hands before taking a step back. Nodding regrettably the husband turned to his wife. She was chained down to a stone tablet unable to move. Her hair was a sandy blond and her eyes where pitch black but, what made her special to him was her skin. It was pale blue, soft and welcoming. Slowly he brought the dagger high above his head admiring her beauty for the last time. For a few seconds there was a great silence. Then screaming. A shrill blood curtailing cry of pain that echoed across the island. He had plunged the dagger deep into her chest and continued to drag it through her until the blade reached the bottom of her abdomen. Quickly withdrawing the stained steel from her body he reached into her stomach trying desperately to ignore the fact that she was still alive. The fact that the last thing she will have ever seen was her husband, the man she loved and trusted, removing there baby from inside her.

As he was about to remove his son from the womb when he stopped. Blood was everywhere. His eyes dilated. A primal nature awoke from within. The shrieking from his wife came to an easy halt. The sound of ripping flesh replaced it. This was the christening of blood every male new born must hope to survive. For if the father does not recognize his child. He will eat them. In silence the chieftain watched the brutal scene unfold. When there was nothing left laying on the stone tablet and the spray of the ocean washed away the remains. A man stood holding his child. Both stained in blood. The blood of a wife. The blood of a mother. "The blood you wished was yours," he whispered. Kneeling down he knew she was dead but, pretended like she wasn't. Trying to hold back tears he slowly and gently pulled his son close, talking to the shackles that held his wife as though she was alive. "It's a boy. We have a baby boy. Take a look at him... Look he's beautiful... Look at our son... Please look at your son! Look at him god dammit! He's right here! Please open your eyes! Please just open your eyes, he's right here!" Standing alone with his child, he waited for the shackles to speak but, nothing respond. She didn't open her eyes because, nothing was left of her. In that moment of silence everything sunk in. All he could manage to do was watch while the chieftain walked over to the stone tablet and remove the chains to take back to the village. A boom of thunder split the silence but, no lighting appeared. Only the sound to remind them of the light there never was. In a matter of minutes a husband became a widower but, for an eternity a man became a father. "You are a new my boy and thus you shall be Mako. A life must end for one to begin. Love must die to be reborn. Your day has come my son. This is your eve of existence. A word of caution, don't waste the life you're given. We only live once so. I learned that today but, these lessons you will learn in time. Soon you will understand. A predator does not pray."

From the day Aisu was brought into this world his life had already been decided by a gamble. Two years ago his father was a serious gambler who never knew when to stop. He made some deals he had no way of backing up and got caught up in the dangers of the underground. On his way home from a nearby card house. Pocked filled with a few dollars he had won that night. Three men jumped him from the shadows. Two behind him holding him in place and the third punching him repeatedly in the stomach and face. The fathers eyes were puffy and swollen which made it hard to see. From what he could make out was a fourth man walking out of an alleyway. The man walked up to the father and said. "You owe us a great deal of money. Do you have any way to give us what we need from you?" Half conscious the father just shook his head "No." The man started pacing back and forth as it began to snow. As the first snow flake of the evening hit his face he had an idea. "Ill tell you what sir. Im going to give you an option. I have just thought of a way for you to pay off your debt. No strings attached. Do you wish to hear it?" Desperately the father agreed to hear the proposition. The shady man walked up to him and whispered in his ear. "You give us your first born child and all of your debt will go away. Im sure a gambling man like yourself can see a good opportunity when its presented to you." The father still in the arms of the two thugs lifted his head and with all of his might said "Okay." With a smile the man waved his hand and the thugs threw him onto the ground. "Since you haunt said anything about a first born we can take tonight let us know when the special day is." The man throws a card onto the father who is slowly losing consciousness.

On the evening of Aisu's birth. It was snowing harder than anyone had ever seen before. The father had already let the people know that this was the night. His wife could tell something was wrong but he wouldn't tell what it was. The winds howled the windows were shaking as if they were about to break from the pressure of wind and snow. Ice began to form on house. The wife was in so much pain all people could hear in this house was the wails of the ice and snow and the screams of new life being born into this world. Until the cries of a child were all that was heard. No wind. No snow. A newborn son in the arms of her mother. People looked around in awe at this event until 3 men walked into the house unannounced. The one in the middle being the man that made the deal with the father. They quickly came into the house and snached the newborn child from his mother. She tried to stop them but the birth had worn her out. She cried for her husband to do something but he just stood there. The man with a sinister smile looked at the father. "Since this is his birthday. You may give him one gift. So he will always remember the father that sold him away." A lump of guilt grew in the fathers throat and stomach as he walked into his room and came out holding a deck of cards wrapped in a special wrapper. It was obviously of some importance. A story that Aisu will never hear told. The man took the cards from the father and the three men walked out. Years later the newborn now a boy used the gift his father gave him to escape the facility he was placed in. He tried to locate his beloved parents but he could never find them. To this day he is in search of his parents. Using the deck his father gave him as a tool. He became a gambler to help make ends meet and stay alive. But from the life he had lived he never bet more than he could handle. He refused to be the man that would sell his child.

Never once in her life had she even considered the breaths she took a threat, that was until their ragged sounds broke the clustered fog that surrounded her being. Bathing in cold sweat she couldn't stand the way her heart wrecked her rib-cage, showing no mercy towards the fragile bones surrounding it. How long had it been? Days? Weeks? It seemed as if there was no end to this hell. Running a bruised hand through her long tresses she clenched her eyes shut and bit down the pain that had been throbbing through her overused legs. Ignoring the cuts and scrapes that covered them she tried to calm the pinching pains, which seemed to cloud her fuzzy mind even more, by massaging them with her hands. Opening her shut eyes she tried to scan her surroundings but found herself unable to as her eyes didn't seem capable of focusing. Shaking her head in panic she covered her ears, trying to shield out the ruthless reality. And as she pulled up her trembling legs, embracing them with her arms, she recalled the words she had been mesmerizing ever since she wanted to become a ninja.

" Never back down and never scream."

She told herself, her voice hoarse and hollow. Tears started to run down her cold cheeks, leaving salty trails in their path. Ignoring the deafening silence around her she repeated herself.

" Never back down and never scream."

The silent whisper of her voice chilling her very core. The hazy fog that surrounded her covered her glistening skin, leaving wet drops that stuck to the hairs on her bare arms and legs. Her sandy locks were sticky with sweat, appearing slick and greasy. Forcing herself to take a few staggering breaths she mouthed the sentence again, and again. Chills ran down her spine as she felt the looming presence of her hunter nearing her attempted save haven. Biting down on her lip one more time, drawing a thin trickle of blood that ran down her pale chin, she held her breath and ignored the sickening beating of her exhausted heart. Slowly preparing herself to stand she grasped at the weapon strapped behind her back.

" Never back down." She told herself, her blemished vision pointed directly at the person whom had hunted her down like an animal for what had seemed like forever.

Thrusting chakra down her legs, she swung the weapon from her back, charged at the person in question... And screamed.

Medo knew that his abilities are still developing and small, however, a word of his father's always kept him motivated and hopeful. "Whatever breaks you down will always make you stronger !" Medo thought of his father's words and a tear dropped over his now red cheek.
