I swear, I'm just going to keep calling the cops on my neighbors until they either move out or learn to beat the hell out of eachother in total silence.

I'm really kicking myself at the moment. I accidentally let brastk.exe (really nasty, hard-to-remove virus) onto my computer. My dad decides the quickest way to remove it is reformatting. However my Windows disks don't work and the replacements will take 7-9 days to come. Seriously, one disk has to come all the way from Hungary. Not sure if I hate myself or Hewlett-Packard more.

I have a cousin who is mentally retarded. He's 27 years old, but he has the mind of a 10 year old. We call him Bear, because he could never say his real name and liked his nickname. (His real name is either Darrell or Darren, but I've always known him as Bear.)

Bear is now in the hospital and in really bad shape. One of his kidneys has failed and the other is failing fast. Right now he's on a Dialysis (sp?) machine. He's already ripped out one of his IVs and has to be strapped down so he won't do it again. My aunt now faces a decision: either keep him on life support or let him die.

My opinion is she should let him go. He'll have to be strapped to a hospital bed for most of the rest of his life. He doesn't understand why he is where he is, he's scared and just wants to get out of bed and play. I know it's going to be a very tough decision for her and I know I can't possibly understand what she's going through, but I think keeping him alive would be cruel.

Good luck with that.

For a while now I have had the most noisy neighbours I could have ever dream of. I really don't understand how they can be so loud in everything... they're an elderly couple.

Nonetheless, almost every week someone calls the cops (and by someone I mean the guy that lives upstairs from me, he kind of hates them to death by now).

And still, they don't stop.

I'm resigned to the fact that my landlord will never kick anyone out, ever, short of them murdering someone on the premises. And even then I'm sure there's wiggle room.

This couple has been here for less than a month, last night the cops were called twice. Once at midnight by me because it sounded like they were trying to kill eachother and he was winning, again at 4:00 in the morning when they decided they weren't done. I'm pretty certain the caretaker called the cops that time.
They're redneck morons in their 30s or 40s or hell, they could be older. Time had not been good to these people. I'm half convinced one or both will be dead when I return.

I would rather have the people with the amazingly silent dogs back. The yard may have been covered in s**t, but at least the most aggravating thing I had to listen to was their Let's Have Sex Once a Month for Ten Minutes.

As a father I can't begin to tell you how hard that choice would be to make. I'm so sorry, and they have my prayers.

Yes, and why are you using racial slurs to describe them?

That sonofabitch Burgermeister is making a last ditch effort to screw me over. I made my wishes abundantly clear and that little s**t went against them anyways, and now he wants hundreds of dollars for his troubles. I couldn't have been any clearer than if I went to him with a sharp metal object and carved the message into his arm, which, in retrospect, was what I ******** well should have done.

I'm going to get in my car, drive to Arizona and run him over, then back over him and then run him over again.
