What about making a thread for people to post books they'd recommend to others?

Shazzer Eh heh. I wouldn't mind if an RP had a definite end to it--if it could get that far without losing members. Then you have something to strive for. ^^ I agree. It's the getting there part that's hard. That's why I like open rp's with scenarios. But..*shrugs* Some must end...usually don't get to that point though. KiyorakaNeko But after so much time and dedication, do you really WANT the story to end? It's like coming to the end of a good book... But....I would eventualy come to hate the book...

*pokes Tara* True, though I don't think I've ever been in an RP that ever had a definate ending... usually it just... dies... or dissolves...

If it's a good book, you are usually left with a feeling of satisfaction, accoplishment. It's the same in an RP, especially if you feel you did a good job. Your character beat the bad guy (or good guy, or got killed, or whatever... but you did something, and you finished it).
OH.
And by the way, I have an RP in the works, called "Something Else." Yeaup. I'll give a link when it's up. For now, I shall tease. Tease, tease, tease. razz

I like drizzt, he's cool. But not my inspiration for having a drow character...though those books did help fine tune it...

There's like... .03 inches of snow here right now.

My first RP had a definite ending. It actually worked out quite well, though I got stuck with the duty of writing the concluding part. I enjoyed it though, and the RP was of very high quality as well. I have to credit my cousin, Soloist, for introducing me to RPing and to Gaia. Speaking of whom, I'll try to convince him to apply for this guild, but he isn't on Gaia as frequently. (He won't have a decent internet connection for about two more weeks, after which he will probably peruse Gaia more frequently)

I so hate the cold...
I've had two roleplays end properly. Well, they could use a sequal to really finish them properly, but it worked out okay I'd guess.
