I've been playing for 5 years now, and I own three. Only two work.
Haven't figured out what to do with the crappy china made instrument that no one can fix. Don't have the time between marching and tech and breathing to think of something artistic to do with the damn thing.
If anyone has any ideas go ahead and PM me.
Anyway. Junior in highschool, we have a marching band but we don't compete, something about being marching musicians instead of a marching band. I'm in symphonic band and wind ensemble, The top bands at school, and for once in the school's existance with any band, we're short on clarients. Too many percussionists, but only eighteen lonely clarinets...makes me sad.

I kinda play clarinet... xd
1 1/2 years of clarinet and 4 1/2 with alto sax biggrin Although, clarinet was my first instrument...
My BD asks me to play clarinet for concert season...since we only have 3 for marching and concert season crying Our horn line is pretty small (28 people...)...which makes me very sad... emo although/even though I know that there are bands out there that have less horn line members than my band.

I've played clarinet for 7 years now. I love it so much. heart I currently own 2 B-flats and a Bass. One B-flat is basically an insurance policy in case I drop it while practicing outside and the other is a Honduran Rosewood Luis Rossi. I love that thing. =D The Bass is a Buffet-Crampon Prestige 1193--the one extended to low C. I love that thing, too. =D All in all, I've played E-flat, B-flat, A, Alto, Bass, and Contralto Clarinets for at least one performance each. I'm currently 1st chair Clarinet in both marching (well, not for very much longer. Our last game was last week and our last competition is next weekend) and our honor band and have been since I switched over from my Bass two years ago. For the musicals, I am usually drafted to play with the Show Band because they don't have a clarinetist and are they won't swallow their pride and let one in. xP I prefer concert season myself, so I don't plan on joining the marching band in college next year but I will try out for every concert-like band I can. 3nodding Aside from the high school music career, I am also the only Bass Clarinet in the Tucson Philharmonic Youth Orchestra. (They had 4 try out and usually take 3, but the others were so bad that they just opted for one. xP) I will be trying out for my Regional Band, which will be hosted at my high school, on B-flat Clarinet. 3nodding
...Uhh...Clarinets are awesome. xD

I'm on my fifth year of clarinet.
I own two B flats. My beginning/marching horn is named Netta Silverkeys, and her younger sister is my concert horn, Claribella Siverkeys. (Yes, I love to name my instruments. The school's E flat Soprano is named Rica, like the reeds, only more girl-ish. sweatdrop ) I'm considering buying an E flat Alto.
I prefer concert season to marching by a landside, although this year's show wasn't that bad. ^^

I play the clarinet!!! I march in the Husky Marching Band. Been playing for 4 years. I may be a guy, but it's much more lighter than tubas, trombones, and all the brass. Does ya'lls woodwinds(flutes, clarinets) have a saying? Ours is BSA (Brass Suck a**), because brass give the woodwinds a hard time with being such a "wussy" section, so we made that up, and it's only amongst us woodwinds.
