"Sure it getting dark anyways it’s a good time to get on some rides" Dairus answered watching the cat guy do his thing and a cat girl popped in her partners place. They slipped out, not seeing the goatee guy. "What ride do you want to go on?" He asked as the passed a house of mirrors.

Owen continued to head on back to his hidey-hole, pausing momentarily by a small park to free his passengers, although one had insisted on remaining with him. Now he walked down the street with his head down, the one tarantula perched on his shoulder like a hairy bird, clicking it's jaws with pleasure at the stares it recieved from a few passers-by.
As Owen neared the church, he noticed a few tell-tale signs of unwanted visitors; a few abandoned bits of trash and a bottle laying on the front steps, and as he cautiously made his way inside, the noises that echoed off the walls. Biting his lip, he moved quickly up the remaining steps until he was able to peek in through the wide open sanctuary doors. There were about four of them, and the sickening crunches that reached his ears told him what they were doing in THAT particular part of the altar area. He felt his blood pound in his ears, and he felt his fists clench in anger. He suddenly spotted two more bottles by the pew nearest to the door. He leaned down to grab one and, holding his breath, hurled it toward the offenders with all his might.
It practically exploded as it hit the podium, showering the delinquents with glass. He ducked down and listened with satisfaction as they let fly with a few choice words and ran for the door. He snuck around to the pew's other side to give them room, and threw another bottle at the door for good measure as the last of them vanished.
As he let out his breath, tears stung his eyes. He knew what he would find upon going to the front of the altar. Even in death, bugs still seemed to exist just to be stepped on, in the minds of so many barbaric humans. He barely heard the few words of sympathy his newest friend was whispering in his ear as he trudged toward the altar to repair the damage and remove all traces of his unwelcome visitors, as he had done countless times before.

Lizz looked over at Jillian as the poor girl shambled into he parlor. "Well, well, well, the dead has finally arisen." She said smiling at her. "Headache stuff is in the bathroom medicine cabinet. Make sure you eat something before taking it otherwise it'll make you sick to your stomach" She looked back at the TV. "Meh most of his stuff is seafood in one way or another. I detest seafood." She said dryly.

Aarin cocked his head. "You need an appointment to bring tasty food? News to me." He shrugged as his grin widened. "Good thing I've got one. It's right..."

It was the work of a moment for Aarin to compress the space between himself and the mansion's interior in a narrow corridor to the girl's side, just wide enough for him to use if he turned sideways to squeeze past her. A single step and he seemed to stretch past her in a blur of motion, snapping back into proper shape as he exited the warp. He didn't bother taking his time to release the compressed space, allowing a horrible cacophany similar to what might be the result of a crazed mongoose having its way with an electric guitar to shriek through the room as the warped fabric of reality snapped back to its proper configuration in an instant.

"Here." He grinned and popped a nacho from the tray into his mouth.

Tobias gave Jill a flat look. "Wuss. Take the pain. What doesn't kill ya makes ya stronger." He drank the rest of his beer in a single go before looking at his now-empty bottle in distaste. He scowled at it as a roiling heat haze erupted around his hand, melting the bottle into glowing liquid he caught with his free hand and began to play with.

Lizz looked at Tobias with a flat bland look. "Now, now, now thats no way to make friends. We ARE friends here aren't we?" She asked mildy. "So why don't we just cut the nit picking elitist bull s$%t because it's really in bad taste and so totally unnessissary. You're no better than she is, or me for that matter." She said in that same mild tone before returning her gaze to the TV. "You know...for something with loads of shell fish, which I'm alergic to, that doesn't look half bad." She said gesturing to TV where the host was showing off a Shellfish pasta salad. She caught him playing with the molten bottle.

"I don’t care I'm getting the pills anyway, my luck they won’t work anyways..."Jillann said getting up and dragging herself to the kitchen. She grabbed an apple, there was no way she was able to cook anything that humans can eat. She bit into the apple and went back to the living room. "I want a kitty now" jillann said leaning on the couch eating the apple.

Tobias raised an eyebrow as he continued toying with the rapidly-cooling molten glass. "I hit a nerve or somethin'? 'Cause where I'm from, we call that an overreaction. Name's Tobias, by the way."

When Kevin got up he went over to WBen and absorbed him. Then he went over to IBen and picked him up instead of absorbing him. Kevin looked at Conner and said "I'm not going to absorb IBen because if I do and we get into some sort of trouble, I might accidently create one of the crazy creatures. So, let's get going."

Tabitha nodded as she listened to Victoria's story. Then she said with a little laugh "Looks like you guys had more fun then I did." She then leant back in her seat and waited for them to get home.

Conner nodded and began lead the way back to the X-van.

"We going to have to be quick, Kev. I really don't want to be collared by the feds." He walked slowly, not wanting to attract any attention to the small group. The federal agents who had been around had disappeared Probably heading closer to the mall he thought and walked with renewed confidance. He fished out the keys to the van and opened the doors from across the row of parked cars. He turned back to Kevin. "C'mon mate, let's hussle on out of here."

"Fun?" said Victoria, dubiously. One eyebrow raised slightly, she thought about what Tabitha had just said and after only a moment or two she bobbed her head slowly as a sign of mild agreement.

"I guess you can call it that," she said, letting her eyebrow drop as she continued on her conversation with Tabitha. "But the whole 'Save the World from Chaos' deal is starting to get old."

Victoria paused for a moment to reflect on her short numbered days with the X-Men. So far, each day had been completely differant then what she was used to, which came across as both a blessing and a curse the way she looked at it. On one hand, she never knew what to expect and on the other...couldn't they just all have a normal, chaos free 24-hour period for a change? Was that so much to ask?

Lizz looked over at Tobias with a raised eye. "Toche la p***y cat." She said. "Lizz or Julianna which ever one you feel like calling me at any given time." She said returning her attention to the TV. "I'm friggin board....and there aint didly squat on TV." She said but didn't really move from her cozey spot on the couch. She leaned her head back to stare at the ceiling for a long moment. "Anyone have any suggestions as to what we could do to kill some time?" She said if no one offered a solution she was going to go swimming.

X-23 was momentarily caught off guard by the boy's rapid movement and the blast of noise it created. By the time she'd turned to face him, she had recovered and was beginning to get angry with him. She didn't like it when people threw her off, and her ears were ringing far more than she would have liked, due to her hightened hearing. Now that he was actually in the house, she knew she'd probably have to deal with him, unless she could get him to leave.

Sighing, she looked him square in the eyes and said, "That's not an appointment. That's an intrusion. And considering I didn't hear Professor X say anything about a second new recruit today. I'm going to have to assume you aren't really supposed to be here, and ask you to leave." There. Now the boy couldn't say she hadn't at leat given him a chance.

"Well, I was hoping to go burn down the circus in town," Tobias said matter-of-factly, "but with the feds out, I think I'm gonna wait on that."

"Who died and made you Queen Stick-In-Mud? Lighten up, you'll live longer." Aarin looked around. "So, where's the kitchen? I was planning on getting some cooking done. You like spaghetti carbonara?"

He grinned inwardly; thanks to the girl's position in the doorway, it was far, far too easy to stretch the space between himself and her without having to worry about her leaving the warped zone as soon as she moved. The ten feet between them was now something closer to seventy, and since there wasn't anything in the warp yet, it looked like... well, nothing. A perfectly innocent patch of air just like any other.

Kevin nodded. Then he placed IBen in the back of the van before getting in the back himself. "Okay, so let's get out of here." Kevin said waiting for Conner to start the van and take off.

"Well I'm glad you had fun. I mean saving people is nice and all, but can't people just stop standing around and being helpless and save themselves."Tabitha said. Then she paused and though for a second. "Guess not. Then we wouldn't be doing anything good ourselves. I mean excapt for saving the World."

Conner jumped into the driver's seat, leaned across to close the passenger door and slipped the key into the ignition. The engine purred into life and Conner slipped into first gear, he didn't bother putting his seatbelt on until they were away from the mall and out of potential trouble.

He took a slightly longer route back to the mansion (He wasn't ready to call it 'home' just yet) to bypass all the traffic that would inevitably build up in the city centre after the two fires. Conner took the on ramp to the elevated freeway faster than he had meant to, cutting off a station wagon in the process. Once on the freeway he settled back into a comfortable speed and looked out to his left; the cityscape was marred by two thick columns of black smoke, pinpointing the cities recent arson attacks.

"This town seems to attract trouble like flys and shite." he mused. "It's a small wonder it's still standing." Fifteen minutes went by until thier exit came up, almost directly opposite the area of ringroad they had entered. Conner slowed the van right down and turned into Grey Maulkin Rd. The mansion was insight almost immediately.
