Durithill snorted mentally as Melody spoke that she wouldn't let him. "It's called a bluff, girl. I don't want your body." he replied to Melody in her head so that Amaranth wouldn't know. "Unlike you, I know how to lie. Your body would be more trouble than it's worth for me." If he took her body, not only would it require him to completely crush her mind and transform her body, but he would also have to change her internal organs in order to make the body male. Far more work that Durithill was looking for.

"Angel Springs in only accessible through Skyrim, and as I remember that city fell." Durithill replied, taking control of Melody's mouth once more. "Not to mention that only those of pure heart can enter and the waters heal ailments, which I am not. And on top of that all you severely underestimate my ability to stop her. At the moment I'm allowing her a measure of freedom because it's in my best interest. What you forget though, is that I am in her mind, and as you no doubt felt, I can still use my magic. Just think what I could do up here?" he said with a threatening chuckle.

"You would do precious little," Amaranth said simply, "The place was built by Angels. It is a pinnacle of holy magic. Dark arts like your own would only be crushed. And yes the spring by itself can only cure ailments, however you obviously have forgotten I'm an Angel. While you know about Skyrim's collapse, you have not known how much I have trained myself these past few months," As a small demonstration, blades of many sizes, shapes, and makes appeared all around them, all pointed at Melody. the air filled with powerful Holy magic and her crystallis glowed bright pink on her chest. In a rare moment, even her crystallis Mer would provide a thousand years of power and knowledge to Amaranth at this time, and she made sure Durithill knew it, "With that petit body that you are not even used to, I doubt you can do much even here. However I did promise Durrahn I wasn't going to fight unless I had no other choice," As she said that the blades faded away.

A grin appeared on Melody's face as Durithill chuckled at Amaranth's display of magic, clearly not intimidated in the least bit. "You think I'm afraid of you?" he said, unleashing a barking laugh from Melody's throat as if he thought Amaranth's spells had been the most hilarious joke he had ever heard. "This is why I hate angels. You always think you are superior, and you don't think. Maybe my arts would be crushed in the Angel Springs, yes, but at the same time so would this girl. And that's assuming you could even get the two of us there in the first place." Durithill would be able to crush Melody's mind and escape long before they even got near the place.

As for the attacks, well, Durithill didn't really have any fear of them. "You won't attack me." he said simply with another grin. "As much as you might dislike me and despise my very existence, as long as there's a chance of this girl getting out of it unharmed you won't do a thing with those magical blades you're so eager to threaten me with. And furthermore, you may talk big but you are still completely unaware what I am capable of, especially now that I have the full range of my abilities back. If you try to get me out, I'll destroy this girl's mind so thoroughly that she won't be recognizable as a thinking being anymore, and I'll use her soul as a power source for my spells. The best option for us all at the moment is just to get me a body." Durithill said, still grinning eerily with Melody's mouth.

Amaranth only smiled. He didn't realize if they fought, he would be against three beings. Rachel, Mer's sister and fellow Dragonkin-turned-crystallis, was only a few feet away in Durrahn's hand. She's a powerhouse as well. Her display was a very small fraction of what she could do. She would be the first to admit that Durithill had more experience at fighting than she did. She wasn't going to delude herself by telling herself otherwise. However, she trumps him with ease if she let Mer handle things. That was just her magic just then. What she could really do made that light show nothing. Actually, she thought even giving him another body would be much better. While he's readapting she could slaughter him with only her magic. She wouldn't even have to let Mer do her damage. Really, he was more dangerous like this, moderately used to the body he haunted, "I don't have to answer to the likes of you. I promised Durrahn long before coming here that I fight only if I have to. I don't expect the likes of you to believe me," She said with a shrug. He really was no threat; a dog barking behind a fence, "I told you your best solution. Unless of course you have become more feminine by staying in that form so long..." She said that with a grin. To her, he was just making excuses. Why wouldn't he go to a graveyard and locate a corpse? Because he was lazy. Simple.

For a few moments Durithill was silent, then he suddenly burst out laughing with Melody's mouth. "You're right! I have, haven't I? Look at me, coming to an angel of all people for help!" Durithill said with another laugh, which was probably not the reaction Amaranth had expected at all. No doubt she was trying to provoke him simply so she could use that as an excuse to break the promise she had with her crystallis and kill him, but instead Durithill was laughing his head off. "I'll just go kill someone. Much better than your solution, and I don't need you to do it. Come along, Melody. Back to the inn." Durithill said with a grin before receeding back into Melody's mind. It was the best solution after all. That way he could just pick which body he wanted instead of having to rely on the luck of the draw.

It also meant he wouldn't have to deal with Amaranth anymore, which was always a bonus for Durithill. "See why I hate angels? They always think they're superior and know everything about everyone." Durithill commented with a laugh in Melody's head. Amaranth in particular seemed to be one of the more annoying ones, which was probably because she had a crystallis that she could use as a crutch, whereas Durithill's power was entirely his own. "Oh, and don't worry about me crushing your mind or anything like that. I have no plans to do so anytime in the immediate future." Durithill added to Melody.

Amaranth was merely buying time. And he had completely fallen for it ever since she showed off that magic she had. A white pentigram formed under Melody's feet, powered by the lives of one Angel and two Dragonkin, "I doubt you're going anywhere in that condition," She said. The magic circle instantly drained anything within it of magic and also forced Melody's feet in place, "Sorry, but people are not to be played with like you have been playing with them." Of course, she had no intention of killing him or even fighting. She was going to have to seal him away somehow. And since he was already inside a body, she debated simply locking him away in Melody. But she didn't want him. Amaranth couldn't blame the girl. However, what else could she do? Let him kill some innocent person? At least in the graveyard the bodies are dead. Is he honestly that lazy that he wouldn't even check grave markers for years and genders?

Melody bowed and came to walk as she noticed the magic force under her "w..what is it..?" she asked as looking at the angel scardly.

Amaranth was working on a spell in the back of her mind, "I'm sorry. I'm not going to harm you," She said to Melody, "It's just that he's too much of a hazard if he actually had his power. There's not many by themselves who can stand up to that, which is why, with me and two Dragonkin backing me up, I have to guarantee he won't harm or kill anyone for his selfishness."

"Bah, angels." Durithill said with Melody's head with a mental eye roll. People walking by in the streets stopped to watch as Amaranth suddenly bound them, wondering what happened. A chuckle escaped from Melody's mouth as she grinned again, which looked slightly odd while her eyes were still showing fright. "Wanting to live s selfishness now?" he said with a small chuckle. After all, that's all he had shown the desire for at the moment, thus why he couldn't take a body from the graveyard. The bodies there had all been dead too long; He needed a freshly dead one: a couple hours dead at the very longest. "You say not to toy with lives, but now you're the one who's doing that, are you not? This girl came to me, not the other way around, and everything she's done for me was done out of free will, albeit I may have been a bit forceful in my persuasians. But here you are actually trying to kill me again." Durithill said with a chuckle. He would have shook Melody's head slightly, but he didn't have control of it at the moment.

It would be fairly easy to get out his current situation though, Durithill suspected. "The greatest weaknesses of her spell is that it requires life force to use, meaning that the longer she sustains the spell the more of her life she burns away, and that it drains magic, which means that she cannot cast inside its radius unless she releases us." Durithill explained to Melody calmly as he yawned with her mouth. "Give me full control of your body for a few moments, and I can get us out when she releases us to cast whatever binding spell she has in mind. She'll expect us to be powerless, so it should be fairly easy."

Melody wasnt sure if to really trust him, "You just gonna release from this..?" she asked slowly "Not killing anyone?" she stopped and thought for a moment and then said slowly "You HAVE to promise me you wont kill anyone!" she said finally.

"It's selfish only when you have already lived your allotted time," Amaranth said. Durithill really wouldn't see this coming, and that was probably the saddest thing about it. With Mer pouring her energy into the current spell, she could borrow mana from Rachel and perform a sealing spell without problem and also without lowering the field. The magic would be inside and printed on Amaranth. All she needed to do was touch Melody and transfer simply happens. Like static electricity only a lot more powerful, "I can't kill what's already dead," Amaranth added, "Forcing a young girl to do what you please. She more than likely has no idea about you," Now her words were directed towards Melody, "I'm sorry you had to get involved with this, but you understand right? He's better off where he is compared to having his own body. He's dead, and is too selfish to accept that and move on like most spirits do. So until I manage to separate him from you, I have to seal him in your body," She explained it for Melody, not Durithill.

"Seal him?!" Melody gasped "Inside my body??" she asked and looked down "Why did i came off the water.. i should've stay there and wait for Sama.." she whispered sadly, more to herself. She looked up the sky 'I hope you are well..Sama..'

Amaranth looked at Melody and suddenly she found herself thinking about her situation. It really wasn't her fault. She must not have known about Durithill; that's the only reason why he would be haunting Melody of all people. Melody wasn't the problem though. She was more than likely trying to live her life.
"That creature is one who only lives for killing," Amaranth said to Melody, "He doesn't care about you. He would more than likely slaughter you once he gets his own body just so he could forget about this ordeal. He can't deny that because we all know that's true," She was saying it as kind of a warning, "This is to protect you. He won't kill you since he would be 'killed' too." She hoped the girl would give permission before Amaranth did what she had to.

"You're wrong!" Durithill suddenly burst out angrily, which was perhaps the first display of emotion he had shown in a long, long time. "I am not human! I am nothing like those filthy creatures that thrive on death! Murder just for the sake of fun is the epitome of all things that are wrong with this world!" Durithill roared, although his rant sounded much less fearsome coming from the mouth of Melody. "And what makes you so different than I then?! You sit high on your pedestal and claim to bring down justice on the world against those who you consider unholy, but who ever gave you that right!? All you do is murder those like me because you were told it was alright to do so, and you think nothing of it!"

At that moment, a flood of images suddenly invaded Melody's mind. A young boy with black hair and red eyes standing in a room, watching in horror as his father grabbed a knife and plunged it into boy's mother, laughing as he pulled it out and stabbed her again and again. Even though Melody had never met Durithill in person, she knew it was him because the memories came from his mind and they told her so. The scene changed again, this time to a village, where a woman was being stoned to death while she repeatedly claimed her innocence, and even though Durithill knew it to be true the people wouldn't stop. Similar scenes of unjust violence and murder flashed through Melody's mind as Durithill lost control of himself until eventually the images stopped and were replaced by a young boy, clutching his legs and sobbing in darkness. It was such a great contrast to the way Durithill acted that the only way Melody could actually be sure was that this was from Durithill's mind.

Melody fell on her knees and held her head "W..what is it..?" she asked slowly , it was eazy to see the terrefied all over her face."T..this is.. too crule.." she started shivering, she never saw anything like this "T..the humans...are so.. evil.." she said more to herself quietly. her controll over her body got weaker slowly.
