"Hey, who said anything about wanting to be a 'proper jedi'?" Randall asked, putting an arm around Melissa to comfort her. "These men were going to kill us. If being a good Jedi means not using the most efficient means to defend yourself, then I say it's a good thing you left. You did what you had to do. And in doing so, you saved my life. I couldn't have taken on this lot, that's for sure."

"Check left." A crack from an ACP rifle echoed in the room, and as a blast echoed in the room there was silence for a moment then the comm came alive. "Room secure, we've got twelve unarmed Givins in here. Doing an ID on them."
On his hud Bahl was doing a quick check of the building blueprints that republic intelligence had provided them in the contract. Every room had been secured and cleared, the government of the sith aligned Givin minority should be in their hands. It wouldn't matter if a few had escaped the net, the Givin assessment of their situation was based on probabilities and mathmatics, and in such a system not one individual really mattered that much, even if it was the head of the government.
Seleene's voice echoed in his helmet, "We've got em all but targets Aurek and Besh. Still, thats to be expected."
"Right, start transmitting message two." Bahl replied as a smile slid across his face. Message two was a declaration of the capture of the sith aligned Givin government, and he knew it to be what was most likely to be a tipping point for the population, which while republic friendly had held back from assisting. Now he knew that was about to change.
Not every Givin was needed to decide to support the republic, but even a minor percentage in an interconnected system could derail such a system, and for thousands of republic allied Givins the tools for such a derailment of the sith infrastructure were at their finger tips. Givins were shutting down power lines, comm systems, and even power plants across the world and securing that shutdown by placing complex mathematical ciphers of their own design to lock the controls. Sith supervisors that tried to interfere found themselves at a loss of how to unlock the controls, and as the disorder spread across the planet the civilian infrastructure that had supported the military infrastructure of the planet came to a screeching halt. Civil disobedience had never been more effective.
In places the planetary turbolasers and shields instantly fell silent, their local power reserves already exhausted by the constant bombardment and use. Elsewhere backup systems separate from civilian power grid kicked into life and held the shields and powered the guns, but most of these systems amounted to nothing more than a colossal stack of batteries which under pounding from air and space would scarcely last more than twenty-four hours. A few remaining installations had military power generators of their own, but these would only form isolated pockets of resistance after a few days and would be easily overcome.
And for the Givins that had decided to do more than merely shut off the power supply, jam the comm channels, or clog the streets, two contraband incorporated freighters stuffed with munitions were entering the atmosphere, guarded by a squadron of buzzard fighters, heading for drop off points that had been detailed in the messages. Their revolt would be armed courtesy of the Mercenary Coalition. Already the Givin guards that had resisted them were either giving up or turning their weapons on their former sith allies, and where the givin ran into real trouble, Body Count Commandos would go and help out their new comrades in arms.

Coruscant Nightlife
She snuggled up underneath his arm, relishing his warmth as well as his feelings of comfort for her and she let it wash over her like a warm summers breeze. Something else she had not realized she had been missing from her life. “My Master always told me that your enemy can not push the button if you disable his hand.” She shook her head, lavender locks falling over her eyes. “Regardless, I should have approached the situation differently. Killing is something of last resort.” She huffed out a breath, blowing her bang out of her eyes and glanced around at the crowd of spectators that were milling about. “We should go.”

"Hey, Ritt's getting his a** kicked!" A familiar voice called. Pagan followed the group, as Ritt blocked the boot with a block with his own foot.
"I'll take that bet," Reverend stated. "NoSA's been living up to her name," he added.
"What do you mean?" Pagan asked.
"How much you betting?"
"40 credits."
"You're on," Reverend muttered, as he watched Ritt reverse the lock and leap back, the blade nearly touching his head before dragging a large gash across the bulkhead. The blindfold slowly dropped, revealing his face in it's full glory, eyeless and all. Reverend didn't move, but Pagan nearly gagged.
Ritt charged forward with a downward strike, rolling off the block his padwan threw up around her. The horizontal slice met it's partner, before the upward diagonal was parried off. Ritt pushed closer, matchign blow for blow, before the blades locked again. the miraluka spun with the lock, placing the criss-crossed blades behind his back, his face staring into that of the young girl's. His right hand had gripped her hilt, grip holding the blade from moving closer.
"The room on this ship allowed him to slip by easy. That, and if she were to try to release her saber from the grip, she could blow the steam pipe that he exposed dragging the saber across the wall. But this fi-" Reverend stated, before Ritt bent his head down and gave his padawan a small peck on the head.

In hyperspace, Nakara reviewed the clip from the cameras back and forth.
"I know him from somewhere. I knew it. A sith assassin would have let his emotions flow. No, this was too reserved. Unless someone's getting smarter..." he muttered, fingering the wound where the knife pierced. "One could say he 'took a piece of my heart'. But this means someone knows of my experiments... but in the meantime..."
He prepared the new droid fighter he was designing. Sleek, powerful, and based upon the fighter who had tried to kill him...

Bathurst, hallway
From Auroras angle it looked like Ritt was about to smash the top of her head in as he had maneuvered himself close to her, his fingers wrapped tightly around her weapon and she tried to shut it off. The impact to her head was not what she had expected, and at first, she wasn’t even sure that he had hit her. Except that the crowd that had gathered around ceased their hoping, hollering, and cheering laving the corridor early quiet. Her cheeks flushed red with raw wild emotion and she reacted, taking advantage of the opening he had presented. Bouncing up off her feet, the top of her head smacking into his chin and she yanked her off hand free. Then sent it open palm across Ritts eyeless face, the sound of her slapping him echoing down the hallway to the shock of all. “ Never with out my permission first my dear Master .” She looked up at him, cheeks burning with embracement.

"You're probably right." Randall said, turning back towards the way he and Melissa had entered the street. Taking Melissa by the hand, he began to lead the way back towards the Chaos, spectators moving back nervously as they approached.

The man looked hurt, but Saria wasn't about to do anything just yet, because it would only draw even more unwanted attention. Instead, she continued to follow the pair from some distance behind. Whether they noticed her or not didn't matter. It was everyone else in the area she wanted to avoid.

"Lady Siren, I haven't known you nearly long enough to trust you, but I sense that you aren't exactly happy with Demaia's involvement in your world's affairs." Marr said as he offered her the copilot's seat.
---------------------------------------
"Identify yourself," said the Republic soldier once more.
Lucky snapped to attention, putting his weapon at his side and saluted the soldier. He then glanced for a second at the patch on Zoe's shoulder before speaking.
"Private Ben Reilly, sir, with the 77th. Our squad got hit pretty hard in the tunnels, and we got separated from the majority of them. I'm not sure if anyone else made it out."
"And your mate? Does he have a name?"
"Don't be fooled by her manly stride, sir, she's female. Pretty lethal warrior as well, she's pulled me through more than a few close scrapes."
"Private Washburn, sir." said Zoe, nodding her head.
"Very well, soldiers. Fall in."

"And now, your gift," Marie said, reaching another set of blast doors and punching in the proper keycode to unlock them. Behind the doors was a large room with workbenches covered in mechanical parts lining the walls. In the center of the room was a suit of armor, mounted on a rack, with several droids adjusting various parts on it.
"This armor is made with a combination of Mandalorian Iron and other alloys to make it extremely durable while allowing the maximum amount of flexibility. It contains a personal energy shield under the armor plating on each limb that activates automatically after the one before it sustains enough damage to fail, providing you with several layers of protection. The helmet contains an advanced heads-up display that relays targeting information and gives you a 360-degree view of the battlefield around you. You can also switch it to night-vision and thermal imaging, should the need arise. Last, but not least, there is a stealth field generator on the back, should your mission require a more subtle approach."

Coruscant Nightlife
Her hand held with in Randalls caring grip Melissa let him lead her away form the grizzle seen, off in the distance the glow of flashing lights accompanied by the hi-pitched scream of sirens foretold of the approaching Coruscant public security forces. She allowed herself one last glance over her shoulder as she was willingly dragged through the gathering crowd. “Um, where we goin’?”

"Back to the ship." Randall said, beginning to jog as he heard the growing noise of approaching lawmen. "We can't really afford any Republic Entanglements right now. as it is, we'll probably have to take off right away, go somewhere else for cargo. Staying could be dangerous." Randallled the way back to the Astral Chaos, silently cursing both his bad fortune, and Junda the Hutt. Kriff. We can't stay, We'll have to get cargo on Corellia or something... This is so not what I planned to do on Coruscant... he thought, picking up a bit more speed, and leading Melissa back to their ship.

“Fine with me, but this doesn’t excuse you from our dinner date.” She huffed out as she picked up her pace to keep up with Randall. Melissa didn’t really want to talk to the local constables herself, in all likelihood they’d hand her over to the jedi, and she loose her lightsaber, again.

"I promise I'll take you out at some later time." Randall said as he and Melissa came into view of the Astral Chaos. "But for now, it might be best to get off planet before we get into trouble."

Volgen stood slowly as he looked to Sonya. He felt his anger and pain change and calmed. His eye twitched as he looked over the ships specs. He tweaked what he could to get more power, they would not catch up or even keep up, but Volgen didnt care. He would catch this shadow.
" Your actions kept us in the chase... But you didnt gain any thing in your training. " He said rather insulting.
" But... You gained the respect of this crew. " Volgen said this as his mind moved about his crew.
" We have time to maybe teach your some thing, I will need you in the fight to come. "
