Ryka smiled at him. "That'll be great! Thanks for inviting me." She said as they entered Vermillion. I can probably get in some training for Surge.

"No problem, what are friends for?" Seth said. He scanned the surrounds, the light outside the tunnel blinded him for a moment. "Err, where's Kasiya's house again?" Seth spoke, laughing at the same time at his forgetfulness.

Ryka laughed along with Seth, until she realized she didn't know either. "I'm not sure.. But if we keep walking around, we're bound to find it, right?" She suggested, shrugging.
They walked around until the sun started to set. In the dim light, Ryka could just make out a familiar house. "There it is!" She pointed. She ran up to the door and knocked, waiting for Kasiya's smiling face to greet them.

"Ok first things first! Time to find the pokemon center." Tony said to Alucard who just screached again. "Hehe, not in the ear please Alucard." It only took a few minutes to spot the red roof of the pokemon center that stood to the side of the town. On their way over to it they saw a small group of people with wearing weird blue pirate outfits. "Huh, wonder who they are. Well who ever they are they should know that pirate outfits are not very fashionable." He said as they walked through the doors and into the pokemoncenter.

Seth followed behind Ryka. "I wonder what Kasiya's been up to while we were gone," Seth said as they waited on the porch for the door to be answered.

Kasiya sat on the steps of Vermilion Gym for quite some time, pondering what she was going to do next. At one point, she crossed the street and got a can of pop out of the vending machine, and sat back down again, thinking things through.
"My last few battles have been pretty harsh," she said to herself, toying with the half-empty can. "Maybe it was just because I haven't been sleeping a lot?" She drained the rest of her soda, and tucked the can into a pocket of her backpack to recycle later. "So now what? Should I go back to Celadon and challenge Erika? Or should I stay home a while? I wish I knew what to do," she sighed, putting her head in her hands.

After a few minutes of waiting, Ryka gave up. "Mabye she's not in the house, mabye she's at the Gym..?" She asked Seth. She silently walked around to the Gym part of the house, but before going to the door, she saw someone sitting in the grass. "Kassie!" Ryka yelled a little too loudly, as she ran over to her friend.

Kasiya jumped slightly at the sound of Ryka's voice, and also because one of her Pokeballs had decided to open on it's own, and Seto appeared by her side, nuzzling her and purring rather loudly. She ran her hands over his smooth coat as Ryka approached her, Seth trailing behind slightly.
"You guys are back early," she said, scratching the Persian behind the ear.

"Oh, yes.." Ryka said with a shrug, as she sat down next to Kassie. "I'm very sorry for leaving so suddenly, I decided to finally go back to Cerulean and get that badge." She said with a a smile. "Are you alright?" She added.

"Yeah, I'm okay," she smiled, as Seto prowled over to Ryka and began to sniff her shoulder. He circled a few times, then walked back over to Kasiya and lied down beside her, his head in her lap. "So how did your battle go? I want to hear all about it!"

"Well.." Ryka said as she reached into her pocket. She pulled out her badge case, and opened it to show Kasiya. "I won!" Ryka said with excitement. As she explained all of the details of the match, the three of her pokemon let themselves out.
"...But, it's all thanks to these guys." Ryka finished her explaination. She pulled all three of her Pokemon into a hug. "You guys did great." She whispered to them. "But now, I have to face your dad." She said in a small voice. "He will be tough. But, Seth also has some good news.." Ryka said, letting her gaze turn to Seth.

"You make it sound so important Ryka!" Seth said with a soft chuckle. "It's nothing really. Just a Pokemon Contest in Hoenn. I thought you might like to come and watch." Seth said, "It'll only be for a few days and maybe you'll even catch a Pokemon from that region too." He added just incase she said no.

"Well it IS important!" Ryka said with a laugh as she threw her arms in the air and laid back on the grass. Please say yes, please say yes.. She thought as she put her arms behind her head in a relaxed position. It may not be important to you, Seth, but it's a big deal to me!

"Hoenn?" Kasiya asked, as Seto sat down next to her, his whiskers twitching. Mike is in Hoenn, she thought excitedly, but stopped herself. No. I must concentrate on my training. But a trip to Hoenn would be nice, plenty of opportunities to capture new Pokemon...but that would mean I'd have to put my Kanto Badge quest on hold...
She looked up and realized Seth and Ryka were staring at her. "It sounds wonderful," she said, stroking Seto's soft fur. "I will go with you, but on one condition."
