I can talk about it. I'll definitely do a double check of what sort of things we can and can't say, but I don't think I'm giving anything confidential away. Especially since almost all prosecution evidence is discoverable by defense anyways.

It's a furnishing alcohol to a minor case. The defendant bought alcohol for a girl who told him she was too young to get it. Said girl was also working with the police, who were watching as she gave him the money, he went inside, then came out with alcohol and gave her the bag. There's really not much of an argument for his side since the police saw everything, the decoy told him she was underage, and a lot of other miscellaneous stuff. Perfect sort of case to hand off to an intern.

Any of you turkeys who have Borderlands for the 360 should really log in tonight, tomorrow, or sunday night for some gaming.

Unfortunately, the split screen on this really sucks since it splits the screen into right and left, both compressing the far more important horizontal axis and cutting off the edges of everything. Terrible judgment on Gearbox's part, but eh.

The far worse part is that split screen is only two players and incompatible with any degree of online multiplayer. And Borderlands shines most when you have a full set of 4 bro-tacular lunatics blazing their way across Pandora. Especially if they're all totally insane. Plus, it spawns more enemies and better loot the more people are playing (as well as upgrades the value of several skills/gears that affect the rest of your team).

Hopefully, with a little luck, you'll be able to scoop up a used xbox and hard drive at some point... if so, I'm sure some nice people out there would consider chipping in to buy you your own Borderlands GOTY set.


No biggie. I've been leveling and questing my Lilith up to around where you and Kin are as well as squirreling away some gear that I've seen that looks decent for you guys. That way I won't have to follow you around with my severely overleveled Roland (mid 60s at this point, and laughing at a lot of the Superbads I've been running into in my 2.5 gallivants in Clappy's Robolution)... plus I'll actually be able to follow the same quest markers as you and Kin, reducing the number of times I head off in the slightly incorrect direction.

For starters, I've got a handful of currency guns to offload to you and Kin that'll learn the both of you the joy of an immobile currency counter.


Gah, I saw this way too late, but next weekend should be good for some more, except for early in the est evening (Stinky's got a basketball game, and I need to go watch him play in at least one or I'll be a terribad uncle). I dunno what you've got for characters, but Mala's got a mid 30's vanilla rifle/shotty Roland and Kin's rockin' a mid 30s Mordecai leaning towards Gunslinger primary and Sniper secondary. We're still in the main campaign, just after Krom's Valley. Kin and I have all the DLC, and I think Mala has just Zombie Island and the Underdome.

I've got a decent starter Support Gunner mod w/ ammo regen for Mala if she wants to play ammo depot and some gunslinger and Scavenger mods for Kin if he wants to regen his own revolver bullets or desires some +Rare to improve the loot. My lilith is a Merc build heavy in the Controller tree, just starting to reach over into the elemental tree. No assassin stuff yet except for a little bit of Silent Resolve.


If anyone wants to futz about with the skill calculator to get some ideas on possible respecs, here ya go.

Hopefully Kin and/or Mala can get on Borderlands soon... I have playthrough 1 access to Knox's Vault, with its dozens of red chests and Crimson Lance chests packed chok-full of awesome level 30-40 loot.

Figured out why I'm logging so much time into Borderlands.
