If you decide to bring your Eks-bawks back in with you and get gold again, several of us have been having chat parties while we've been playing. Kin, Zero, Rags, Suyo, sometimes WJ or Psy, Kane, and myself are the usuals, but sometimes the elusive Mala peeks out of the pocket and joins us. We hope to someday bag the nearly extinct Shoujous Rex for our collection, but eh.

I think I heard something about them doing free live gold from the 25th to the 29th this month, so feel free to finally approve my friend request and hop in on some of the fun to see what's going on. Kin just discovered the joys of Fallout 3 last night (and his enthusiasm is sorely tempting me to throw 3 back in and make a new character for a bit), several of us are on Fable 3, and a few others are jamming away at Black Ops. However, we've got several multiplayer games at our disposal should you want to join us in some Borderlands, RDR, or Transformers (or others).

I second the questions about your enjoyment of the college experience. A few of us in the Live chats were wondering just recently about that.




In Fallout related news, I voiced to Kin a realization of the character I thought Mala would play in FO3 if she ever played it. Melee combat, especially Shish-Kebabs (amputate AND cauterize? YES PLOX); medicine, to heal the denizens of the Wasteland of whatever may ail them, willing or otherwise; and probably a little barter, repair, and science, to aid in the accumulation and repair of Stuff. I could also see her falling in love with the Railroad Rifle (dat steam whistle, yo) and Rock-It Launcher (a gun that uses your Stuff to kill things and get more Stuff? WIN). The rocket launcher would likely be loaded exclusively with medical stuff found around the wasteland... or charred books... or tin cans... or maybe garden gnomes. Her house would immediately get the medical and lab upgrades; the Science theme would be manditory, and Mr Handy would be renamed Fluffykins.

Major plotlines would likely be almost totally ignored, to be completed only accidentally as Mala R Yush, Wasteland Doctor of Love, chased yet another Ghoul or Super Mutant patient across the rubble-strewn streets of DC, exchanging bursts of small arms fire and launched teddy bears while crying out "HELP ME HELP YOU!".

My parents had two of their cats put down today. emo

We grew up with them...they were born in 1991. So, they were both quite old and it was time. One had seemed to have lost bladder control...but he got to enjoy his last summer. I will miss them muchos.

My brother, the one who owns it. He went back to college with it.
