The only rules in most schools that would affect that would be 'no wearing clothing of all the same color'. Swimsuit would be within the rules, just add a pair of shorts for safety.

Mine has strict rules, but no strict enforcers.
Like, our tank top straps have to be a certain width.
And shorts have to be past our fingertips.
Earrings can't be larger than a quarter.
No jerseys.

Well if you are using a thicker strap you don't have to worry about it. The one I use is a thick one.
