The east HQ seemed peaceful, until something dark overshadowed the whole manor. After a moment of complete silence a 50 foot wave of water fell down onto the mansion, with crushing force.

Umbra looked up as he heard the water come crashing down on the mansion, and his eyes grew wide. "s**t..." he muttered, starting to backpedal towards the door. He held his hands up, clapped them together, and his shadow lurched upwards, wrapping itself around his body. It quickly formed around him, turning him ethereal for the brief moment that he made contact with the door, passing through it and the crushing force of the water.

The water pulled away, leaving less than a quarter of the mansion, scattered across the ground. A figure floated over the remains, chuckling softly, his dark hair blowing around and across a pair of orange glowing eyes.

Umbra looked up at the man, and frowned. "Who are you!" He called out, his raspy voice echoing in the wreckage.

((It was only temporary and would be taken away if he died, I don't remember if he died yet though.))
The man glanced down at Umbra, floating closer. "One of the many."

Umbra smiled. "One of the many who? The dead?" He turned both hands palm up, and then moved them up towards the sky. His shadow lurched forwards and leapt into the air, moving to yank the man from the sky.

The creature dropped onto the ground, avoiding the shadows. He walked forward. "We are not dead, but those who do not join, will be." He held out his hand, another wave of water rising up from the sea towards himself, and Umbra.

Umbra's shadow spread along the ground, stretching as far as it could. He grinned, and muttered "You can't kill those who've already died..." as he made a pushing motion with his hands, using a psychic blast to send him backwards.

The man was pushed back into the wave, which caught him like a ball in a glove and placed him gently back onto the ground. "You always assume that we mean to kill." He shook his head, softly. "Barbaric creatures, we intend to save you."
The water continued to hover behind him, and then part of it broke off and went rollign towards Umbra.

As the wave barreled down on him and began to block the sun, Umbra panicked. He dropped to his knees, and clutched his head, calling his shadow to form a protective bubble around him.

The water washed over and into the mud. The man stood by the shadow ball and looked on. "What is it that you fear so much?"

Umbra dispersed the shield as the water level dropped. "Nothing that concerns you!" He yelled, his eyes flaring red. He clapped his hands together, and his shadow lurched upwards, trying to engulf the man.
