That actually has nothing to do with split personalities.
What you're thinking of is just split personalities. (I think there's a fancier name out there somewhere but it's just not coming to me...)
*took AP Psychology last semester* Is the term your looking for Borderline personality disorder, or BPD? It's definitely not Schizophrenia. Personalities indeed have nothing to do with being a Schizo.

Schizophrenia is more experiencing hallucinations, disorderly thoughts and speech, a loss of touch with reality. It used to be associated with DID so often, but over the years it has been found that they really are entirely different things. 3nodding

This conversation about split personalities and schizophrenia is giving me a headache. I don't get this stuff, and I never plan to. Okay, that's kind of a lie since I'm taking AP Psych this year too, but whatever.
My dog is kind of an idiot. He ate some raw meat that fell on the floor while I was cooking dinner, and then he got sick. And then he came and ate some more. stare

Remember that before the sealing of the lighthouses, the people of the entire world had the capacity to become Adepts. Psynergy was used to wage wars. Now that the lighthouses had been lit and the power of the Golden Sun unleashed upon the world again, I think Weyard is gradually returning to that state.
