Rae x Rae Streamjumper Rae x Rae [Dill] Rae x Rae 3.14 Do they have American cheese in England? Over here we have... Canadian Cheese. Doesn't taste much different to me though. Lies and slander. I have never once seen it referred to as Canadian Cheese. I've seen it called cheese singles (KRAAAAFT) and that's about it. Occassionally they get called PROCESSED cheese singles. ooooo Actually, I can bring you back like eight million British Columbia restaurant menus talking about dishes which use "processed Canadian cheese."
Having never tasted it, I can't say (and never did say) that it's the same thing as American cheese. I just find it funny that there's a Canadian cheese as well.Have you had squeaky cheese yet? Never - should I try some?
Rosa and I did a cheese tasting when we were in Victoria. I don't remember what they were called since everything was far more complexly French than I'm used to but daaaaaaaaamn they were good.Squeaky Cheese, also called Krut, or cheese curd, is small lumps of extremely fresh uncured cheddar. Since it isn't aged, it doesn't have many of the characteristic flavors of cheddar, but is very tasty nonetheless. It gets its name because when eaten fresh it tends to make quiet squeaking noises against your teeth as you bite the curd. And yes, you should try it sometime.

Having never tasted it, I can't say (and never did say) that it's the same thing as American cheese. I just find it funny that there's a Canadian cheese as well.That's because Kraft's Cheese Singles, as they have production in Canada for Canadian consumers, are made with real Canadian Cheddar. Hence why they are marketing them as such in the menu at your resturaunt. It's more a subliminal buy local thing than anything else. The product they are using will refer to itself as Real Canadian Processed cheese, or made with Real Canadian Cheese, but the actual product name? No Canadian in sight. I was never talking about the product name, just the constant use of "CANADIAN CHEEEESE" on numerous menus and in a couple delis. I just found it amusing to run into and thought I'd mention it since Pi was joking about American cheese in England. I didn't think a throwaway joke-comment would end up in an actual discussion on what is called what 4srs XD;

So, I got short changed on 'days off' this week. Meaning that I had a twenty-eight hour window where I didn't have to work, period.
Two of those hours were spent at the apartment. Four of those hours were spent sleeping.
The rest were spent getting aggravated at Dead Rising because I can't save FOUR ******** PEOPLE AT THE VERY BEGINNING, and blitzing my way through some thirty plus percent of Saint's Row 2.
My god I love this game.

It's kind of a strange change to go from "Canadian bacon" to "back bacon." Another one over here that was odd to me at first was that in this area, boba is referred to as "pearls."

Kinetic Dream So, I got short changed on 'days off' this week. Don't try to save any significant number of survivors until you've seriously leveled up. My suggestion, should you wish to take it: just run around saving people and doing random stuff to figure out where things are and how to do stuff while you level up until about 15 or so. Then finish off the game however and start over. Do enough to get the keys to the underground rooms and some of the routes into and out of the underground parking. Then go for the Zombie Genocider achievement. Basically, just stock up a few smoothies (untouchable and quickstep are the best for this), maybe a queen, and a few decent weapons. Then drive around in the undermall tunnels in a constant pattern leading from the convertible just outside to the delivery van in the northwest to the sedan over on the east side and back to the convertible outside. This lets you kill thousands of zombies an hour which levels you up like a ******** AND gets you the cheevo, which gets you an unlocked weapon in the vent room next time you start a game... the Real Megaman Buster, a badass weapon that really tears s**t up.

I'm actually going to a cheese factory tomorrow, and you can see the curds being made. And they come out warm. And yes, this is in Wisconsin. <3 A lot of the time here the curds are deep fried. And amazing.

I don't really like cheese. sad [/random contributions] Dead Rising, if you're wondering about it. Zombies, Zombies everywhere. So many zombies that they actually give you a maneuver where you walk up behind a zombie at the edge of a crowd, climb on top of him, and walk across the crowd like Bruce Campbell channeling the spirit of Crocodile Dundee. The storyline's pretty good, and the timeline they hold you to really helps maintain a lot of the tension that's often missing from larger zombie horde games.

Thought you all would get a kick out of this:
>Get a call, guy locked in football field >Ask if he's okay >Says he's fine, is flipping out because he can't get out >Tell him I'll do call outs to find keys >Calls back five minutes after last call and starts hyperventilating >Calm him down, explain call outs take time >Finally get in touch with someone, does not have keys, tells me to call his boss >Was the first person I called, and was disconected at both lines >Call the ultimate no-no, the head of all maintainence, says he has keys and can be there in thirty minutes >Call Freakout McDoogle, says he's been out for ten minutes and forgot to call. And is late for 'the game' >Wasted an hour of my time >Still getting calls about it from unsuccessful callouts prior, people pissed >Give them McDoogle's name to take it up with him >mfw: 83c

FanFicGuru Just got back from seeing Easy A with my fiancee. s**t is ******** hilarious. If you enjoyed Mean Girls at all, you must watch this movie. If you hated Mean Girls, watch this movie anyways. So, you've got enough spare time to go to movies? Cool... cool. Oh, did you hear that they're releasing another demo for Vanquish? A time trial of some sort... and I hear they listened to the community talking about how they'd like to see something harder than the last one. I think it might be hitting on Tuesday. coolface.jpg
