I didn't die, we're good!
surprised heart I was just wondering how it went~
Glad to hear you're alive!
Yup! And it's really been a fairly chill process, I...actually haven't had any painkillers since.. at all. xd

My nipples, uh, also seem to be alright. Just in case anyone was worried about that.
Pain killers + nipples are goood.

I think that if people are going to discuss nipples, they should check out the first episode of Mitsudomoe to see just where this can go.
Nipples is so cute ;_____;

Also, I'm starting to watch stuff again. So if anyone has any suggestions feel free to fire some my way. Got aload of stuff on my laptop that I need to watch already, but hey. Gonna have to get rid of some of it as I've got part of the series and it's then been licensed.

You know, I get into the oddest conversations at random times. A few weeks ago, I went to the YWCA main office for CPR training. I got down there early, and stopped at Panera for lunch. As I'm getting out of my car, the old guy parked next to me strikes up a conversation.

Now, I have 3 stickers on my car. One is a bear claw, another is my old parking sticker for for Westfield State College, and the third is a clear one with "Westfield State College" written on it on my rear window.

So this old guy starts off by asking me if I go to Westfield State. Obviously I did, but my parking sticker is from 2001, so I tell him that. And that I already graduated. He then goes on to ask me about my bear claw sticker, what it means, does it have anything to do with college, etc etc.

I look at him mystified and tell him "I just like bears..." and then he goes on to talk about these bears that are always getting into his garbage and how they're all roaming around the city.

I just kind of stare at him in confusion, and finally I have a chance to make some comment about bears losing their habitation etc etc, and then make a break for Panera so I can get my food and get away from the chatty old guy.

I mean, honestly, why else would someone have a bear claw sticker on their car?

Ursus is MY copilot!

From the last few seasons? Working!! and Durarara! just ended and are superb. And yes, both titles include those exclamation marks.

Working!! is the story of the Wagnaria family restaurant and its evening part-time crew. Mostly fluff and "daawwww!", but a genuinely fun watch with more than enough lulz to match the warm fuzzies.

Durarara! is from the creative forces behind Baccano! and involves a current day ensemble cast in Ikebukuro. Expect the same kind of rogues gallery as Baccano had, from an information broker who puts the anonymous collective's trolling skills to shame (with little need for anonymity, no less), to a bartender-uniformed debt collector's bodyguard with superhuman strength, to a huge black russian sushi chef peddling questionable wares, and to a trio of totally normal high school students caught in a love triangle. s**t, this crowd almost makes Celty, the Irish Dullahan playing the part of an elite motorcycle courier while she searches for her stolen head, seem commonplace at times... and they're just a fraction of the crowd involved. Also, banging soundtrack. From op to ed, and everything in between, you'll be enjoying the auditory feast.

I'm sure you know that K-On!'s second season is currently airing, so nuff said there.

Kaichou Wa Maid Sama is pretty good. If you're read the manga, Maid Sama, you know the score already, but here's the lowdown just in case. Misaki is from the first class of girls attending a school that was, until just recently, all boys. Add to the shennanigans that we really know any group of high school guys gets up to (blow it out your a**, Ouran) the fact that she already has issues with men due to her father leaving her mother soon after her and her younger sister were born (and to poverty, no less), and you've got one rough time for the guys should this one get into a position of power like School Council President (and yep, she did). Now on a crusade to beat these savage beasts into line and forcibly make the school a better place for girls, Misaki has a secret she needs to keep under tight cover lest it destroy her authority. See, to help her family out financially, Misaki took the best paying job she could find that wouldn't interfere in her school day... as a waitress at a maid cafe in the next town over. D'oh. To make things worse, the perfect (except in terms of motivation, with amusing results) guy from her school stumbles rather quickly across her secret... with amusing and predictable results. Good s**t, man. Good s**t.

Fairy Tail's another one that you probably know about from the manga, and is light, but definitely fun, fare.

Heroman. Stan Lee writing. Bones studio animating. American setting and superhero flavor. Japanese Mecha. Japanese voices. Stan Lee drinking coffee cameos. As my dying uncle once told me on his deathbed, Tsu... "With great collaboration comes great win. Rosebu..." And he was ******** right. Except about the goddamn sled. My mind says I'm sitting at the computer watching MKV files, but my heart says this is Saturday Morning Cartoons, complete with bowl of cereal and underoos.

All I'll say about Katanagairi is this. A one year schedule with 12 one hour episodes released one-a-month may sound kinda nuts, but when you toss a great art style and obscene production values behind it, you get ********. I strongly endorse this one for any anime fan above the age of 14.

Some new and promising shows so far this season (with one a single episode to any of their names) are Ookami, Mitsudomoe, Seitokai Yakuindomo, and Occult Academy.

Uh... so as the AG's pretty-much-official Heroman expert, I'm going to second this SO ******** hard.
Heroman is a lot of fun, and it's great for nostalgia. Even better, it's not "anime-typical" (though I would not suggest the manga).

I do have some complaints about character development - characters such as Lina are left quite blank, and even Joey and Psy are kind of undeveloped - but other than that this is the one show I seriously look forward to every week.
It also has wonderful music - the new opening is fantastic, and "Calling" is FLOW's best single, for real.

As a note, Highschool of the Dead also just came out. It's quite good and... the quality is amazing .__.
Really it is not TV quality at all.

You'd be surprised how little I've watched/read lately. It's only been recently, after getting bored of almost a year of looking for a job, that I've started to fill my free time with anime/manga again.

Cheers for the suggestions, will look into some of those. Few of them appear to already be licensed though, which is a bit of a bummer.

Anyone interested in joining me to check out the Blacklight: Tango Down demo tonight? If so, just post what time would be good for you and download the demo. I don't suggest playing any of the demo before we're ready since it has a 60 minute play limit before it auto-disables. The game looks pretty interesting, and the 15$ price tag looks damn fine to me.
