Ruki XXIII Vincent Alxander Dracula Ruki XXIII Vincent Alxander Dracula Ruki XXIII Vincent Alxander Dracula "uummm Ryu"he noble spoke up "how long till we get there"Ruy looked back "Well shouldnt be too lone now There was a loud rumbling sound as the ground began to shake. Several feet ahead of the caravan, the ground split and tore apart, creating a gap too wide to cross. "...Guess you can't judge a book by it's cover, huh?" Ruki thought, sadly. Ryu sighed softly "people annoy me" he shook his head "Chibi if you would can you take are passenger to his destanation?" Chibi walked up to where the nobleman and Captain Grave were standing. She eyed the nobleman up and down, trying to judge his weight. "Yeah, I can manage it. Sir," she asked the nobleman, "I should probably ask if you're afraid of heights, or if you get motion sickness?" "ill take care of the rift raft Chibi good luck and be carefull"Ruy said looking back smileing to the small dragon girl under his command "you know were your going right?" "Uh-huh," Chibi replied, with a nod. She turns back to the nobleman. "Sir, um, prepare for a... surprise." With that, she transformed into her dragon form. Small as she was (about 5' tall and 10' long), it was still an impressive sight. "Hop aboard." The words were in Chibi's voice, and seemed to come from her, but her mouth did not move. In fact, it was closed. Ryu smiled softly looking bag as he took his duffle bag and wraped it around Chibi's neck "i wont be needing that"he said softly as the noble man neverisly clambed on the dragons back "o..k"he said fear in his voice

Chibi nodded. "Meet you there."
With that, Chibi launched herself into the air, headed towards the intended destination.

Eva didn't reply. A lot of time had passed since they had all parted company, and the ship was set to cast off on a warm front moving in within the next thirty minutes. She straightened up, a look of anxiety on her face. "Katsu, I'm going to head back to the portal for now. Try not to let them leave without me. If they do try to leave without me, make sure thay don't take you along as well."
She tightened the strap on her sack and set off down the gangplank at an easy jog. Once she was off the crowded pier and onto the street, she stepped on the gas and ran down the street towards the Mishap portal. Dodging pedestrians, it took her just over ten minutes to reach the portal, call it open, and leap through. As soon as she was into the portal room, she searched for an intercom button. Jamming it with her finger, she heard her voice ring out over the loudspeakers: "This is captain suntzu of squad Phalanx speaking. Due to complications involving private Yeti, we are short one squad member. Our mission is to protect a valuable cargo carried in an airship for the next three days. The ship casts off in twenty-five-minutes. Anyone who is available, get yourself to the portal room yesterday."

The Librarian and Brian were sitting inside their room, and enjoying their private converstation, when they heard the voice over the intercom. Brian looked at the Librarian, who in turn looked at him, grinned, and lifted his machinegun with his foot. he had slept in the layers of heavy armor, and was very ok with it. He poked Brian in the ribs. "Ok, librarian, you can go! I think they will need someone who is willing to enter physical combat. " The librarian ughed, and held his hand out. "Bububu....." "UGH!" Brian sighed, and jumped down from his bed. "well, I suppose it will be an excellent exercise in team building, and a friggin sweet road trip. " The Librarian petted Brian on his shoulder, and started to throw random things in a bag. Brian was a bit more carefull.
Finally, he stepped out of the equipment room, and jogged together with the Librarian, who seemed to have plundered the caffeteria, towards the portal room. Brian went through the stuff he had put in his duffle-bag. Laptop, batteries for 6 days, handbooks on flashdrives, Emergency rations for six days, basic armour plating, his electronic toolbox, clothes for changing, climbing equipment, 12 liters of Mountain dew, basic kevlar clothes with some nice things, two parachutes, full helmets for the both of them with some interesting extras, vision-enhancing equipment, and some basic weapon systems with enough firepower to protect him, basically two small guns with the smallest ammo he could find and a dagger. Also GPS-signal, sattelite dish, harpune guns, and a few packs of fitting amunition. He felt very excited. As they were at the door, he noticed that he was still wearing boxershorts and his bathrobes, but he had trained to change in basically anything and had never spent under 5 minutes. He thanked the guy who had invented skateboards, because otherwise, he would have been unable to move the bag on his own, and entered the portal room. "This is Tech, and this seems like a serious call for tech support....." He grinned at captain eva, as the Librarian entered the room, dressed like a professional soldier / Tank As they reached a full stop, he looked at his watch. 10 Minutes. That was pretty fast, even for him. he grinned, and held his hands in a nonthreatening manner, because Captain Eva looked at him in a very funny way. "OK, first of all, The Librarian forced me, second, you have seen what i am capable of, and that was nothing yet, third, I have normal clothes in my bag, and fourth, you have said anyone, and if you count me and the Librarian together, we are basically one human. So, you want us to come with you, or do you think we are not good enough?"

XinrieArath "Afternoon." The winged Teen stared up at the newcomer with slight interest. Here was someone he was positive he hadn't even glimpsed before unlike the others in the organization. His greyed wings twitched slightly. "Commander Rindell's office is just down the hall from here...but I think it'd be right if we found out who you were first...I'd be Ike...and the bookworm there would be Captian Stalker of Squadron Null."Xinrie glanced up at the other person for a moment, just to see if he was some sort of threat. Figuring he probably wasn't at the moment, she delved right back into her book. Gene turned to the kid and proceeded to mention his identity and his purpouse. "My name is Gene Dalfont. I signed an application a few days ago and got a gcode early this morning that said I was accepted. So I'm here to file in." Without much of a movement, Gene extended his card to the winged teenager. It simply had the name 'Saber X' written on it, a plane number, a universe number, a gcode adress and a stringline signature for those that wished to contact him via stringtone.
Gene turned to Capt. Stalker for a second, then turned back at the teenager, waiting for an answer.

Ike nodded lightly as he rubbed the bottom of his chin and jawline as if a beard grew there. "Gene Delfont, Eh?" He squinted at the card, reading it over. "Ah...Xin what was one of the oncoming recruits named?"
Stlaker glanced up from her book, finally paying attention to what was going on. She placed a forefinger to press a small button on the band that lined her forearm. "....Theres like...a billion......One second." She pressed a small grey button reading hte small screen that had lit up. "Jaa he's one of 'em.....Have you been assigned a squadron yet, Gene?"

"Good enough, let's go!" She leapt through the appropriate portal and sidestepped as Tech, the librarian, and their ridiculously large packs followed. "Follow me, try not to lose sight, okay? The ship is called the Archduke." Her voice sounded different after only half a day in the town, as she'd turned herself into a passable impression of a native, right down to the clothing and accent. She turned and ran through the bright and crowded pier-side street. Many of the airships, literally flying boats, were unfurling their sails, preparing to cast off on the rapidly approaching warm air mass. As she legged it off down the street, she reflected that Tech would probably have a field day in this town, with its strange cross-breeding of sleek technology and eighteenth-century style.
Eva reached the Archduke just as the crew were hauling the gangplank up. She stomped the end down on the pier loudly, eliciting a few double takes from highly confused pirates, confused as to why the plank had stopped moving. "Sorry to keep you waiting, gents. We had a problem with an idiot, but it's sorted now."

Tech grinned, and basically ran from one end of the street to the other, while catching as much as he could of the city on the video-recorder in his helmet. He was allways happy if he could get new Ideas, and gadgets, and.....
The Librarian just sighed, and boxed his way through the crowd in a desperate attempt to reach the ship in time and follow the captain. he was not particularely keen on having to guard the ship on foot, but he had to admit that it was fun. He could basically tackle people in their knees, and get away with it, because he had the gun to be right about it. He just grabbed a particularely fancy hat from one of the street vendors, as his fur began to tickle. he looked at brian, who was at the side of some street vendor baffeling over something that looked like a glove with wires coming out of a battery pack, when he knew what was going wrong. He had been to frigging slow, and they had such a long way, and that tech was just buying s**t that he probably would not want to share with him..... he looked at the time in the lower right corner of the screen, and knew what was wrong. only five minutes. His mind raced, as it came to a desperate solution. He went behind the improvised cart, and pushed. It was allways going downhill to the ships, right? Slowly, the cart came rolling down the hill, and he faced a street full of people, who were probably just waiting to block his passage. The librarian grinned, and hopped on the accelerating cart, continuously becoming faster. He knew it, he was going to make it.
Brian just discussed a price for a particularly nice piece of equipment for his man-machine-controller, as he lost the ground under his feet. he accellerated, bumped into a few people, and just managed to throw the vendor the 200 bucks he had demanded, as he recognized the big paw of the librarian. "UGH", he said, and pointed at brians watch. brian did the best he could think of in that situation. He sat down on his expensive equipment, placed his head behind the librarian, and started to pray.
The librarian knew this was not going to be easy, so he aimed for fast at least. Like in the winter olympics bobsledding team, he gave the cart more speed as he accellerated it with his hands, while screaming like a madman. At least, now the people were jumping out of the way. He was glad for the full helmet, because now,he could see the archduke. It stood behind some big crates, and there was..... The librarian pondered. they were going about eighty now, the people jumped out of their way and no comical relief in form of a glass-transporter in the way. in front of them, there were about 400 meters straight ahead, then a big leap up the .... The Librarian grinned, as he saw the big sturdy plank that leaned exactly the right way on one of the containers.
"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEk-UGH!" the Librarian came down hard on deck of the ship. he had calculated right. only a slight 90° turn had been neccesary, and now they were safe on deck. and midflight, while tech had been screaming, he had just swung the fancy hat a bit.....So it technically had not been fun. He grinned, patted the kid on the shivering shoulders, and jumped off the bag. A quick check, but nothing important except the Skateboards were broken, and he turned around and bowed. As he came up again, he included in his gesture the whole ship, the bag, his enormous gun, and most importantly, a few human that looked at him like they wanted to fry him. he took of his helmet, shook his fur, and ginned like only a 400 pound Orang Utan could after such a flight through the air.
Brian had calmed down, and slowly moved off the bag. all after all, it was not that bad. They were alive, they were on the ship, and he had his hands controller. The captain could not say that he had been late. He sighed, and made a mental note to buy the Librarian a big bush of bananas the next time he had a chance. he checked his pants, which were still dry to his surprise, and then walked towards the captain with a smile on his face as if it had been the most normal thing to do, and he would do it everyday. Inside, he felt more then funny, but he would be damned if he would succumb to anything. "hi there.... guess we made the trip safely. So, where is the stuff we are supposed to be guarding, and what are we allowed to do to keep it safe?"

"I'm glad you made it!" Azora waved towards their direction from the other side of the ship, the side that was facing towards the vast sea. She walked up and stood beside them.

Kairin slowly wandered down Mishap's main Hall with Xinrie's Wolf in tow. Her eyes were downcast on the small Rubik's cube that flew through her hands. She was headed for the Portal Room to wait for Xinrie to hurry up, they were beggining to run late, if they didn't hurry the entire operation would be undermined by the thieves. "..."
