mai worked quietly moving the chicken and the fish to stove where she grilled the fish and asked "Do you want fried chicken or grilled?" She could do it eather way but with fish she found that grilling it held alot more flavor then frying it.

fox had woken up by this time. but he stayed on the couch his arm shwre folded behind his head and then he looked at the two of them with the bottom of his eye. witha smile comeing acros his face.

"I like grilled chicken, that would make it easier to prepare right?" *she asked in response, and presented the potatoes to mai* " I've finished peeling them, is there anything else you want some help with?" *she twitched, getting the feeling she was being watched, and flicked her tail turning her head to look around with her one good eye*

"Do you want to work out some frustration and mash them or do you like boiled potatos?" Mai asked while putting the chiken on the girl next to the fish. "Well it's about the same I just think that grilling anything gives it a better taste."
"Master do you want anything?" Mai asked while looking over at the couch knowing that he was awake.

*She smiled... enjoying the idea of boiled potatoes...she used to eat them like apples when she was younger...* " I Think unless you'd enjoy mashed potatoes, boiled would be wonderful." *She watched Fox closely and Mai's interactions with him, not so much suspiciously as keen interest. Her actions, as being half feline would cause them to be, made her distracted from time to time by the oddest things*

" No I am fine, I think that I will be down in the lab for a moment, I need something to eat. my body is not liking me at the moment. So mai you know the rules when i comes to that , you do not open that door till I come back out. And Please don't let her down there till i am back if she wishes to come down there." he said as he stud and started to walk to a door that was resting in the middle of a wall that was in the kitchen it was a large steel door that had two air locks on it and with a wave of his hand it slid opened and then a cold burst of air came from the dark place and then he slowly walked down the steps and just before the door closed behind him there was a large slam of something moving or opening an then a scream that was cut off, it was a male scream
that was one thing that he never did, the life of a women was something that he never tuck only the life of a man, and only the ones that deserved it. such as ripest and murders.

*She shivered, hearing the scream, and covered her ears, wincing. Her scarred eye looking even moreso with the squinting of them. Loud noises were a problem... She curled up into a ball from instinct on the chair she had returned to from giving Mai the potatoes*

"Understood!" Mai said cheerfully the screams or load noises not bothering seeing as how she had grown acustom to them. "Well boiled potatos taste better to me so boiled it is!" Gathering the potatos she put them into a pot of boiling water. "Now we have fish and chicken as well as boiled potatos. Would you like anything else?"
Seeing her curled into a ball Mai frowned and got a glass of water before walking over and nealed down infront of her holding the glass out. "Dont worry you will come use to it. Next time I'll give you fair warning so you can cover your ears. I should know how it feels but in my human form I tend to forget."

*she peered out from her head being covered by her paws* " I haven't been around that for a while..." *She looked at the glass and sniffed it by instinct. She took it and sipped it* "Thankyou."

"Dont worry he dosnt need to 'eat' very often so its not an everyday thing." Mai said while standing back up and walking over to turn off everything since all the food was done.
Making a plate for their guest and set it down at the table. Once that was taken care of she made one of herself then sat down as well. "Well lets eat!"

*She nodded silently and began to nibble at the meal of delicious and chicken ferociously. She hadn't had this good of a meal in ages it seemed. Every now and then she would take a sip of water and at one point the shine of Mai's collar caught her eye* "That's an interesting necklace."

The door opens once again and fox steps out of the dark room that now glowed with a soft blue. the cat like nose would go crazy with him and the room behind him. the fresh smell of blood filled the air but the main of it was cut off once the air lock closed once again. Fox said nothing he just walked past them and there was something on him that normally was not once he came back from his lab for something like that. the black goo that came from him as dripping out of his side and face as he walked by so it feel to the ground and sat it sat there it started to wiggle and move like it was trying to come alive. this was something that Mai even did not know of him so as he was walking up the steps he yailed in a stern tone mostly so she could hear him. " before you eat pick the goo up before something happens

*She blinked, having stuffed another bit of boiled potatoe into her cheek, her face looking slightly like a chipmunk, one cheek bloated with food as she turned around looking for the "Goo" as he had called it*

"Thank you! Technically its my engagement ring." Mai said while laying her hand on it. When her master came back up stairs she smiled to him in greeting noticing the black goo.
Hearing his command she wasted no time in getting up and grabbed a towl not knowing if the good would be hazards or not. Picking it up she gazed at it curiously not geting to close to it. "Master what do you wish of me to do with it now?"
[[still working on it i went to the doc resently and found out that i have mono so im a little worn out and dont work on it as much]]
