that's pretty cool, this guy at my school did some beatboxing on his flute which was awesome.

Rhyala: My friend learned how to play w/o lessons, and she sounded pretty good. Then she started taking lessons, and now she sounds almost ten times better. Lessons do make a difference.

In my school, we have more than 15 flutes in our flute section. That's more than trumpets, tubas, and trombones combined.
Btw, I'm new and i'm an awesome flutti tutti! ^^

Novel of Tragedy Flash_flood Are any of you guys in marching band? We just got our music, Nightmare Before Christmas. It's terrific! I'm in marching band. We don't know what we're doing yet, but my band director wants to do Inuyasha stare . I ******** hate anime. I'm not a fan of it either. We're currently in marching band season and we're doing... The Incredibles! Woo. Ahh. -_- I'm not horribly excited about it, but the best part is that there's a solo for one piccolo (me) and one flute (my friend). So, that'll be fun. And one of us is going to be section leader.. I just hope it's me because I love telling people what to do. Stupid freshmen.. stare

Rhyala: True. My flute is fairly good when it is cooperating (she's highly tempermental -- is anyone else's?) Hopefully, you will get your own eventually. confused
Novel: Lucky! What kind? I'm looking into getting a new one either senior year or when I get into a music school.
