Lyuk continued walking, surprisingly in a happy mood. Kai was okay, nothing had jumped out to kill them either. All in all, things were going pretty well. The mission was going okay even though he hadn't found the amber yet. At least they had gotten rid of the killer Aerodactyl. The boy began whistling, unaware that it might attract others towards him. He thought that the Aerodactyl had probably scared most of the pokemon off but didn't know that there could be worse lurking around..

For a second, Lyuk stopped and just leaned against a tree. Was he wrong? Had he taken a wrong turn? Was he going in circles? At least he wasn't in the forest with the cursed fog. He did wonder what happened to the girl he had met. How was she doing? Well there might be a chance to meet her again. He then straightened up and continued forward. No time for him to dawdle anymore.

The Growlithe's attack would work. As she hit this time, her breathe coming out in huffs as she slide once more to the defensive. She might be defeated, but it was going to come as a price to him as well ....as she licks her fangs. Things were looking up ...even though she was badly hurt and sore from the damage already done.
She stood on the defensive.

Mei Kougetsu Ami blinked a couple times. What happened? She shook her head and turned to face the Shieldon. Her face started to blush... who was this magnificent creature? Her brown eyes brightened. ">You are absolutely stunning to look at.<" She bleated shyly. As she said that, the Deerling started to charge forward. She wanted to give him a warm welcome by gently hitting him on the side. But with the speed she was going at, and the momentum she was gaining... it would seem that this was going to be more of a violent act.

In his desperate attempt, the Ruffle had managed to cause some damage to the Skarmory. A deep scratch, but no blood... Good, because she would be very angry if she was to lose any of her own blood. Before attacking again, she paused for a few seconds... This would probably never happen again, but she was giving him a chance to run away. She then charged towards him, planning on ending his life.

Tyson looked worried as Deino got nailed with the attack. He flew back and landed on his side, he wanted to run over to it to see if he was alright, but knew it would be dangerous. Deino the started tog et up, after it was shaken a bit. Tyson knew he could do this. Deino walked over to Tyson and Tyson stepped infront of it, and grabbed a pokeball from his bag, and threw it at the Growlithe.

The pokeball bounced off of her skin as she felt it strike her. She had been expecting the pokemon's attack not the attack of the trainer as she looked surprised as she was taken into the pokeball ...her entire body reduced to nothing but light as it was suck inside.
The pokeball itself would land in the sands ...as it shook once, twice, and one hard final third time before it went still.
Tyson had captured a Growlithe.

(To make it clear, the damage was 5))
Though the Rufflet wasn't going to run. He had head of the Shadowlover, the kiss of death, and he had no want to run from it. It was impossible to run from such a creature, but, he knew he didn't fear her either. He had caused pain to the creature, though no blood. Something he must keep his life long enough to make happen as he threw out his short wings and press his body closer to the ground. His eyes watching his opponent coming at him.
He wasn't going to run, and he definitely wasn't about to give up ....as he kept his wings out ...waiting until the last moment to try and jump over his opponent. His pain making him sluggish, but he knew he couldn't afford to be too slow.

The Rufflet was brave, but also foolish. If he wouldnt run away, than she would drain all of the blood from his body... And she do it wih this attack. Of course, she wasnt expecting the Rufflet to have enough energie to actually dodge, so it came as a surprise to her when he did... No big deal, she would simply get him next time. For now, she would return to waiting.

The Rufflet was successful as he lands back on his feet, and whirl around to face his opponent once more. His body swaying abit, and he knew before he could strike again he needed to Work up to the move. He would start to flap his wings and actually run in place as he seeks to gain enough energy to make his next attack much more successful.
The strength in his flaps though still seemed horribly weak as his blood continues to drip to the ground in great puddles.

Artemis watched the Rufflet tring to work up so energie and decided to attack then, while he was distracted. She ran towards the Rufflet again, but this time aiming for his head.
((not sure how the work up rolls works... If you have to outroll me. Also, working completely alone at a gasbar/store for my first time.. Kind of scary!))

The bird had failed his attack as he stood there breathe hard. He knew what was going to be coming next ....another attack. But what could he do about it. Not a single thing as he kept his feathers spread wide, and brought his head back as he saw that beak coming in a skull shattering blow.
Almost the same exact blow he had used against the squirtle not that long ago.

And that was it for the Rufflet. He was offered a chance to run away, but didnt take it and now he was going to suffer the consequences. Artemis could feel the Rufflet's skull cracking under her beak, but more importantly, blood was pourring out. Nothing could ever feel as good as this.
