((Out Of Cats: ))

[I smiled and listened to Gingereye speak of the Breezeclan apprentices. I nodded.] "I think most of the apprentices are like that. Though I will agree, some have so little self control." [I smiled, with some of the cats, we really needed to be careful. Some apprentices were easily provoked, so it'd be easier for them to shoot out something that is only their clan's business. I thought for a moment. What would Rainpaw's warrior name be? I smiled excitedly, I couldn't wait to see the look on his face. I looked up as I heard the ginger warrior purr. At least we weren't tense anymore. That was always a good sign.]
[I turned to looked at Gingereye, who now, had asked a question of her own. What in the name of Starclan would provoke such a question? I thought about this for a moment, what had I been thinking about. Then it hit me. I smiled, sort of]
"I was just thinking... How odd it was. Here I am, starting up my own conversation with a stranger" [I looked at her with soft eyes]"I don't normally do that. Except now. My friends aren't here yet, so I had no choice. See, they came up to me. I'm not one to usually start up a conversation..." [I meowed slowly.] "Let alone talk that much" [I finished and looked at her. I wasn't quite sure if that was the answer she was looking for. But that was what I had been thinking.]]

[The tabby fur ball that is Rainpaw nodded in satisfaction when he heard Siegepaw growl in surprise] "Surprise!" [He meowed and batted the Breezeclan apprentice's ear with a paw. Rainpaw hissed and rolled around as the apprentice kept talking.] "You fleebag! Take that back!" [He hissed and he too, unsheathed his claws.] "You wanna play like that. Fine" [Rainpaw growled and batted at Siegepaw's ear]

“It is good to be solitary, for solitude is difficult...”
___________________________

[The moon was shining brightly-brighter than it ever had before. A looming figure crept through the grass, eyes sparkling with anticipation.
Ravage moved swiftly, knowing time was of the essence. Tonight, the Clans would finally fall!
It was the ultimate challenge the Slayers had ever faced-that was what made it so exciting. They were avenging the death of their brethren, sure, but it was the fact that this would be the biggest massacre they had ever committed that truly motivated them. None of them could back down from this challenge. It was foolproof!
Ravage raised his head, blinking at the island. Just as he had guessed- they would hold a mandatory gathering, and they would bring their entire Clans. What stupid kitties! Stranded on an island, most unable to swim, with only one flimsy twig as their escape point.
Everything was going according to plan. It was almost too easy...
Ravage could sense Comet approaching as well, and his eyes glowed with satisfaction. He could sense her smugness- Gorge had been taken care of as well, it seemed.
The golden lion licked his lips, preparing to emerge, when a yowl split over the area.

A mottled she-cat ( Mapleleaf )was screaming at the top of her lungs, eyes wide and fur fluffed out.
Ravage snorted. So the cats hadn't been unprepared-they'd set little alarms to warn them.
The cats on the island began to cry out, panic rising. A second yowl rose above the she-cat's- another guard, this time a grey tom with blazing eyes. Ravage recognized him and narrowed his eyes, twitching his tail. They had been spotted too far from the island-it would take a few more moments to arrive there.]

"Do not waste any time disposing of those two," he roared to Comet, "Destroy the bridge!"

[In the clearing, Galestar's voice rose above the others, his eyes glinting.]
"Kits and elders must be escorted off the island, as quick as possible! Hurry!"
[Warriors swarmed over the kittens and elders, hurrying them across the tree bridge. Embergaze and Mapleleaf stood at the end, helping everyone off the tree. From the shadows, a roar was heard and Ravage burst out, eyes blazing.
Most of the queens, kittens, and elders had made it safely across, and they scattered away from the giant as he approached, but his concern was not placed on them. The leaders were still on the island, as well as most of the warriors. They had evacuated their weakest first-a grand mistake! Once he slaughtered them all, the rest would be easy pickings.
Embergaze spat at him, but he swatted the warrior away easily. He leapt into the lake, swimming easily to the other side, and emerged on the bank of the island. Extracting his claws, he ripped at the tree, smashing it aside. Warriors yowled at him, unable to reach him through the thorn bush (and pinned next to him because of it).

Once he had sufficiently damaged the bridge, he spun around, teeth gnashing.
Ghostface had approached him, yowling bravely, and he used his massive paw to crush the warrior into the ground. With a quick slash, the tom was dead in an instant.
He barreled through the thorn bush, shredding it easily, and faced the swarm of warriors with earnest. The clouds cleared, and the bright blue moon shone strongly, slowly but surely growing brighter and more blue.
It also seemed that Ravage was becoming stronger; his muscles bulged with effort and his hide seemed to almost thicken. His eyes glowed a soft red-blue, merging into purple. The sacred moon was filling him with power! A similar effect was happening to Comet, causing more havoc and mayhem. It was wonderful! He'd never felt so alive!
The Slayers had eaten a special herb that reacted to moonlight; this, combined with the spiritual radiance of the blue moon, had supercharged the Slayer's power. He felt invincible!
Even though a swarm of cats were fighting him, no blood came from his pelt. He swiped through the sea of cats, causing them to swell back in horror.
He lunged into the sea of cats, jaws snapping on an unfortunate tom (Stormgaze) and easily tossed the body aside, swatting at more pests and killing more warriors.
Ravage's job was to attack the masses- Comet's was to attack the leaders. Nothing would stop them! Nothing at all! He roared with glee, blood seeping through his pelt like a tainted stream of water.]

(( The blue moon makes leaders/med cats (especially med cats) feel a bit stronger as their spiritual side strengthens. Med cat apprentices don't feel the effects as much unless they're close to being full med cats. Nobody else may feel this strength in power. Deputies do not feel this either.
Remember Ravage and Comet's hides have hardened; it is very unlikely you'll draw blood.
Also, they are killing pretty much any NPC we have right now so that the only remaining would be real playing cats. It'd be appreciated, if you're making a new cat, if you said the parents fought and were killed in this battle or died because of wound complications from this battle.
Also, try not to get close if you're an apprentice-you'd be killed with one hit irl, so y'know...don't overdo it or we'll ask you to stop :<
Thank you! ))

Falconpaw

[Falconpaw heard the yowls and his head snapped up. His eyes grew wide with terror at the sight of the great golden monster. His ebony fur bristled and he bared his teeth in a horrified snarl. The NightClan apprentice leaped to his paws, standing over Silentpaw hissing. He had to stay close to his friends and protect them.]

[He whipped his head around trying to locate Rabbitpaw in the chaos. His friend couldn't fight with his bad paw! Falconpaw wanted to run in and help fight, or just to run away in general! but he was devoted on staying beside Silentpaw, she may not be able to protect herself!]

[The black furred apprentice crouched hissing and spitting at the monster across the clearing. Falconpaw knew that being an apprentice, he could easily be killed. He whipped his head around to see Songpaw and snarled,] "You two, stay close to me!"

Even if a snake is not poisonous...
__________________________________________________________

[Silently waiting for Pebbleheart to respond the wildcat's ears perked up. Something in the atmosphere felt wrong. She turned in horror to see two enormous wildcats plowing through the sea of cats. Serpentfang let out a horrified and angered cry at the sight of such monsters. For a moment she froze, her fur on end as fear took over. Was she to fight, or run? Her first instinct was to help guide the kits and elders across the bridge. As she picked up a lost and confused mewing kitten she raced over to the bridge, running across. Suddenly as Ravage slammed his huge paw on the fallen tree it snapped, sending her falling. In desperation she tossed the small kit into the air as it barely snagged onto the edge, it mother rushing in and snapping it up before fleeing.

Clinging on tightly to the half of the log that was still falling she raced across it and lept up, clinging onto the edge and draging herself up. Unfortunately she had landed on the side where the monsters still were attacking. Her eyes shifted to Comet as she approached the leaders up on the high rock. Her eyes locked on Galestar, everything was moving in slow motion, her legs began to race forward before she could snap to her senses. Roaring her fierce wildcat screech she lunged forward, snarling and hissing at the large beast. She was determined to defend, or at least distract the monstrosity from Galestar and the other leaders. She whipped her tail back and forth with fearful anticipation as she bared her extraordinarily long, snake like fangs to their fullest and her sharp, war like eyes constricted to needle thin slits.]

"Turn back...."

[She hissed, glaring deep into the larger wildcat's eyes. Seeing the monster's these wildcats were cleared all doubt of being anything like them from her mind. She was nothing like them, not in the slightest. Cautiously she watched the larger cat's movements, coiled and ready to strike like an angry snake at the slightest hint of an attack.]

One's pride is like a raging fire...

[Dragonfire grinned and nodded as Silentpaw wandered off. The gladiator's attention then turned to Griffonsea. Before she could strike up a conversation however the sound of pained and fearful screeching spread through the large crowd of cats as Ravage and Comet entered the scene. Dragonfire's bright amber eyes widened to their fullest, as she looked upon the giant monsters approaching. Her legs froze as her fur puffed up and she arched her back defensively, snarling loudly. The fear in her eyes was plainly visible as she watched then knock away cats like annoying nats. One was bad enough... but now there was TWO of them!? Dragonfie's form began to tremble as she watched.]

I can't run away.... I can never run away.... I will NOT run away....

[Images of her possible death flashed before her eyes... was it even possible to take down one of these monsters? If she was to fight them head on then she was sure to die....]

So be it. I will not abandon my clan!

[Racing forward She let out a snarling screech as she tackled Ravage head on. She flew up into his thick main and latched on with her claws. Struggling desperately to hold on she used her sharp teeth to try and burrow into the wildcat's exposed neck. She was surprised to see that no matter how hard she bit the skin would not break. Realizing this she began to feel even more panic boil up from inside her, her heart beating faster if that was even possible. With out warning Ravage had jerked to the left, tossing the she cat off as she hit the ground with ha hard and painful thud! Growing frustrated immediately she hissed as she lept up on his back and clawed her way up onto his head.]

If i cant hurt him i can at least be an annoyance!

"Guess who rancid breath!"

[Dragonfire slapped both of her front white paws over his eyes, temporarily blocking his vision for the few heartbeats she would be able to stay on the beast's head.]

((Feel free to knock her around a bit if necessary. Im sure one paw slap will be more than enough. ))

[The yowls of distress and horror brought Freezeshadow back to his senses. He stared, green gaze alert at the two 'monsters' that appeared. It was weird, but they seemed to look stronger than before. But why? Freezeshadow didn't understand. He watched as they destroyed the tree bridge with one smash of their massive paw, separating them from everyone's kits and elders.] They'll pick us clean first, then get to the others. [Freezeshadow noted, watching as two cats already fall to their deaths, in the heavenly paws of Starclan now. But surely more would die at an instant. The wreak of blood hit his black nose, making Freezeshadow wrinkle his nose in disgust. He couldn't help but picture his sister, limp in bleeding in the slayer's claws, her beautiful sea blue gaze staring blankly at nothing.] No...I will not let her die. [The gray warrior vowed and quickly pushed his sister with a paw to the broken tree bridge. Seaclan cats could swim so this couldn't be to hard! He ignored his body, rushing up to meet Ravage.] You are the cause of our problems, you are the cause of our problems... [He kept repeating. As he got closer he unsheathed his long thorn black claws and leaped. Landing squarely on the Ravage's hard pelt. It seemed almost impossible to even get one scratch of blood! But Freezeshadow wouldn't let go and clung on. His emerald green gaze hardened. He wouldn't let this beast hurt the ones he truly cared about inside.]

[The flash of a burning orange pelt caught Freezeshadow's eye. He knew who it was instantly.] "Dragon...fire..." [He said quietly, finding it hard to talk and keep his hold at the same time. The horrid jerking to the left caused one of his claws to slip off, but he would refuse to fall to the ground as did Dragonfire. He knew the she-cat was fast at getting up and trying, trying again. But the tom wasn't that fast and just stared as she latched once again onto his mane and clawed at his face.] Is she trying to kill herself...as am I... [Freezeshadow thought suddenly.]

[Yowls of death burned Siegepaw's ears. He quickly shook Rainpaw off of him, fury flashing in his amber gaze.] "We have to fight for real now!" [Siegepaw yowled, not seeming to notice the change in the two slayers. He just wanted to fight! Fight and prove himself strong to everyone! With a hiss of outrage Siegepaw ran at Ravage, kicking up dirt as he went. But a heavy paw pushed him back. He hissed with rage and tried to pass once again, refusing to stay down or even see who had knocked him over. But the black, brown-striped tom wouldn't let him.] "Dad! Let me fight, let me kill these slayers! As we even talk more cats will die!" [Siegepaw blurted out, clawing at his father's flank.][Hauntednight didn't seem to feel the pain, his impatient gaze shone through the dull light, putting a little fear in the beige apprentice.] "It's to dangerous, right now we need to focus on protecting our own cats. Not trying to fight those...those disasters head on!" [Hauntednight pointed with his tail to Ravage and Commet, already seeing two cats latched on Ravage.] "You will be easily knocked off your paws if you try to engage them. Do you want to die!? Die like them!?" [Hauntednight flicked his tail to two warriors who had already died. He knew he was scaring his son but this seemed to be the only way to convince him!][Siegepaw gritted his teeth, battering his dad's flank.] "Stop it! I won't die...I'm a warrior of Breezeclan!" [Siegepaw retorted. Hauntednight shook his head impatiently and picked up his son by the scruff of his neck, jerking him up high in the air so he couldn't lay a paw on the ground.] "Your...an...apprentice! You still need to learn patience if you ever...want to be a warrior!" [Hauntednight spoke through gritted teeth as he began to make his way to the tree bridge, as far away from the Slayers as possible.] "Put me down!" [Siegepaw kept saying as they went.]

R A B B I T P A W

[The alarm call of an owl above made the short medicine cat apprentice's head snap up, his dull gray eyes widened in alarm, but his expression then sunk to a frown. His jaws watered and his stomach clenched. That owl had probably been the only prey Rabbitpaw had seen in days. He didn't move though. A wave of unease crept into his body, splashing over him like freezing cold river water. He felt cold. He shivered slightly, his eyes shutting for a moment. His pelt prickled. The feeling of unease was growing. He opened his eyes slowly. His paw that had been scratching lines in the ground underpaw had stopped. Something was wrong.

Swansong shifted slightly beside him, nudging him hard. Rabbitpaw almost fell over. A squeaky growl of protest came from him, his fur fluffing up in anger.]
"Idiot, don't touch m....e,"
[Rabbitpaw's voice quieted. From the look he was getting from Swansong, he could tell that he had guessed that I was uneasy. His ears flickered slightly. Yes.....there was definitely something wrong.

As he opened his mouth to speak, the screech of a cat sounded farther away. He jumped up, his fur fluffing up. Had he been right? He hissed slightly, vaguely aware of Galestar's voice ordering elders and kits to evacuate. Another thought had crossed his mind, much more important than the order: he had to protect the herbs.

Rabbitpaw whirled around to face Swansong. He shook slightly, wincing as he heard a mighty roar echo throughout the island.]
"Help me carry the herbs to somewhere safe,"
[he hissed urgently. Swansong nodded reluctantly, bending down to pick up Rabbitpaw. The apprentice hissed in protest, but a huff made him fall silent. He closed his eyes wearily. Once again, he was being carried around like a kit. How joyful. Rabbitpaw sighed, his eyes staring at the sky above them. He blinked, tilting his head slightly as he was hoisted along with the black and white warrior. The moon was hidden behind the clouds for a moment, but the clouds cleared. An eerie blue light bathed the clearing, giving everything a menacing blue tint. Rabbitpaw felt an odd feeling in his throat. The moon wasn't supposed to be blue!

Rabbitpaw suddenly felt himself land on the ground with a thud. He blinked, stunned for a moment. A hard nudge from behind made Rabbitpaw hiss slightly. Swansong gave him an impatient glance, as if he was telling the tom to hurry up. He nodded quietly, snagging the bundle of poppy seeds along with the celadine and marigold. He quickly instructed Swansong to take care of the Goldenrod and cobwebs. He nodded curtly, picking them up. Rabbitpaw coughed around the herbs in his jaws, setting off as fast as he could across the clearing.

A metallic stench made Rabbitpaw freeze. His stomach acids churned inside at the scent that had always haunted him. Blood. It was everywhere. It was as if the scent had clouded around him. It was suffocating. Rabbitpaw shook his head vigorously, making a mad dash for a bush at the edge of the island. He charged, his eyes squeezed shut. He had to get away from the battle scene. The scent veiled over the clearing, mixed with the fear-scent and natural scent of the four Clans. He gagged. It smelled revolting. His fur prickled the more he thought about it though. It felt as if he was running away from the fight; it felt cowardly. It's not my fault though...it's not like I can fight in my state anyway, that's why I became a medicine cat, he thought reassuringly. His claws extended and retracted though. It would have been nice to have been able to fight. It was somewhat okay though; he was helping in his own way.

Rabbitpaw collided with another body. He let out a shocked yelp, his fur fluffing up defensively. The herbs that had been in his jaws scattered across the ground. His eyes glanced up wildly, but a dull expression crossed his face. He let his fur lie flat, realising that it was only Falconpaw. He coughed slightly, sitting on his haunches. He scooped the herbs into a somewhat tidy pile. The herbs that Swansong had been carrying were set down gently by the mute warrior. He backed up, staring back at Rabbitpaw questioningly. Rabbitpaw nodded slightly, looking at the other three apprentices gathered. He cleared his throat.]
"Okay, to avoid any fatalities, I'm going to have to keep myself hidden from Ravage and the other thing. I'm also going to need a extra paws to help tend to any injured cats,"
[he meowed. His eyes flickered to Silentpaw for a moment, pursing his lips. She definitely didn't have enough battle experience to be out there. He didn't really want her helping though, since she would most likely get in the way. And besides, she was kind of loud. He sighed though. Her pride would most definitely make her want to stay and help though. It couldn't be helped.

Rabbitpaw coughed slightly.]
"Silentpaw, you're definitely staying, since I'll need help to treat cats."
[he concluded bleakly. He turned his gaze to Falconpaw next. He frowned slightly.]
"Your injury hasn't healed yet, so it might be dangerous to put you into action. I'm going to let you be the judge of that though. You can fight if you feel up to it, or you can keep an eye out on Ravage and the other thing when Swansong goes and gets anyone who can't get back up; it's your choice,"
[he finished. His eyes glanced up at Swansong for confirmation; he stared back indifferently. He took that as a 'yes'. He looked next at Songpaw, smiling slightly.]
"Well, it looks like you will be able to put your skills up to the test once more, Birdy. Keep an eye out for anyone who can't fight anymore, and try to bring them back as inconspicuously as possible. If the Slayers know that cats are being healed here, then we're all done for,"
[he warned, nodding once. He backed up, scooting further into the bushes. A mournful look crossed the tom's face for a moment and a cold feeling washed over him. He shuddered quietly, a new look in his eyes.]
"May StarClan be with all of you this tragic night,"
[he concluded. He froze though as he realised what he had said. His whiskers twitched slightly. It sounded so sappy. How revolting. He blinked. It wasn't like he had meant to say it either; it just came out. He snorted softly. Weird.]

L A V E N D E R S T A R

[An alarm call sent the whole mass of cats into a panic. As Galestar called out for elders and kits to be escorted out first, she tensed, her mind elsewhere. They had come; they had actually showed up. She trembled slightly, Puresun's words quickly coming back to her. Ravage had been searching her out personally during the first attack. She blinked. She could only guess what it was for. She hesitated at her perch, shaking slightly as the elders and kits finished evacuating. Second thoughts immediately filled her head. What if she had sentenced her Clan to an early demise? What would happen if the Star Slayers won? What if Puresun and Richmoon got killed? She shook slightly at this thought. No. That couldn't possibly happen. That was right! No negative thoughts, she thought quickly. She snorted, a new look full of confidence crossing her face. As if she was going to let the Star Slayers destroy her Clan. Even so, if they were going down, it definitely wouldn't be without a fight.

She blinked. Even so, StarClan was with her, so what would it matter? Yes, they were watching over everyone now. They would most definitely do everything in their power to prevent the destruction of the Clans.

Lavenderstar hissed angrily as she hurtled herself from the top of the tree into the sea of cats. She hissed angrily, quickly streaking toward Ravage. Adreneline coursed through the leader's veins, rage glinting in her violent violet eyes. Her whiskers quivered as she made a mad dash toward Ravage. This threat; they would have to eliminate it once and for all. She trembled with anticipation and picked up her pace. After this battle; after this last battle, they would most definitely be safe again.

A harsh snarl climbed its way up Lavenderstar's throat, sounding as loud as the horrified screeches of the cats present. As she neared Ravage, her claws slid out. She skidded to a halt, lashing out one paw quickly at Ravage's face. She hissed, quickly jumping out of reach. She felt her heart sink though as she examined the lion for a brief moment. It didn't seem as if Ravage had sustained any injuries. Her eyes widened slightly. Why weren't they landing any blows? She hissed in frustration and shot forward, trying to sink her jaws into the lion's foot.]

[ooc:] Had no idea what to do since I'm the first one posting as a leader since Ravage showed up. Beat Lavendyface up to a certain extent, as needed. :3

[Firepaw turned around as he heard a roar from behind him. It was a giant cat with a mane. It looked like a threat. The apprentice quickly got up to his feet, wanting to attack it.]"Don't you worry, Stripewhisker! I'll be fine, you go with the clan I'll attack that thingy."

C h e r r y p a w

"F-Firepaw, don't! You'll kill yourself!"[She screeched, while Firepaw ignored her. Once realizing she was being ignored, Cherrypaw began running off to find Rainface's kits. She had to. They couldn't die. Not now, not at the paws of the slayers.]

S t r i p e w h i s k e r

"Firepaw, don't you DARE!"[The silver Bengal tom screeched as Firepaw ran off. Stripewhisker wanted to kill Firepaw himself, hadn't he just told him the slayers were too strong for him? He wasn't listening the entire time! He quickly followed after Firepaw. He needed to be sure the calico tom wouldn't be mouse-brained enough to attack Ravage. As he caught up to Firepaw, the tom immediately grabbed at the apprentice's scruff and dragged him away from the beast.]"Kid, you CRAZY!? What did I tell you. This thing could kill you, Firepaw. LISTEN TO ME!"[Just as Stripewhisker finished what he was saying, Firepaw had gotten loose.]"No, no, Stripewhisker! I can do this, trust me. I'm like, the strongest thing ever. Trust me."[He shouted as he ran back towards Ravage, but while running, Firepaw ran chest first into a random trunk. Stripewhisker could hear bones snapping from where he was.]"NO, FIRE, NO!"[Stripewhisker shouted, running towards where Firepaw was laying. The apprentice broke ribs, he could tell. He looked down on Firepaw, he could hear his quiet moans of pain.]"N-n-n-no... I g-g-g-gotta g-get t-t-t-that b-b-beast or my family will hate me."[Firepaw said, choking on his own words. The pain was unbearable. Stripewhisker could feel the tears welling up inside. He tried his best to hide them.]"Firepaw, your like family to me. I love you regardless of what you do. I don't want you proving yourself by attacking things you'd never kill in a lifetime. I want you safe, I want you to know your loved. I love you, and don't you forget that."[The tom told the apprentice, as he grabbed onto his scruff and began dragging him away.]"Joyfeather, help me."[The tom shouted as he approached the she-cat.]

Falconpaw

[Falconpaw leaped back, snarling when something, or someone, collided with him. When he realized that it was Rabbitpaw, he forced his fur to lie flat as the medicine cat's apprentice spoke.]

"I'm going to stay here," [the ebony apprentice meowed firmly, someone had to protect the ones being healed while Swansong was gone. Though, Falconpaw had to admit that he had never really met the black and white mute warrior.]

[He unsheathed his claws and dropped into a crouch, drawing himself farther under the bush. He had a job to do and he was determined to do it.]

Silentpaw
"I will overcome"

[Silentpaw's head shot up as she heard a loud screech coming from a cat. Her blue eyes scanned the clearing and she flicked her ears. Something was wrong, terribly wrong. The dream! The terrible dream she had been experiancing. It couldn't be true, not again. She pushed herself quickly up onto her front paws. She glanced toward Galestar as he ordered the elders and kits to leave. Cats rushed past ehr and multiple stopped by her, trying to carry her off the island. Silentpaw only hissed in reply, warning the cat not to try anythign fo that sort. She was an apprentice, and she was going to stay and fight! Her attention was drawn to a loud roar as a massive lion emerged from the shadows. Silentpaw's eyes grew wide in fear and shock as she stared at the massive creature. The crippled she-cat narrowed her eyes as the lion threw dead cats away like they were pieces of prey. She let out a hiss and went to take a step forward when Falconpaw stepped in front of her. Silentpaw looked at him, confused and frusterated , before turning her gaze back toward the lion. She heard Falconpaw's words and knew he was right. The creature was treating full grown warrior like they were nothing. They, as apprentices, wouldn't even stand a chance. But you're a warrior! You have to fight! a voice said in the back of Silentpaw's mind. However, as tempting as it was, Silentpaw knew she wouldn't stand a chance against the creature, especially without her back legs. Diverting her eyes from the lion for a second, Silentpaw glanced behind ehr to make sure Songpaw was still beside her.

The white apprentice turned her attention toward Rabbitpaw as the medicine cat began to speak. She felt her spirits rise as he said she'd stay and help. At least she'd be able to do something helpful. Healing ehr clanmates would be the next best thing to fighting alongside them. But that day will come soon, I know it will. she told herself and crawled quickly over to Rabbitpaw. She had never been in the medicine cats den before since she had never had any interest in being a medicine cat apprentice, so she wasn't completely sure what to do with the herbs before her. However, she would try her best and she'd try not to get in the medicine cat's way the best she could. She glanced toward the medicine cat apprentice and nodded.]

"Just tell me what you want me to do," she told Rabbitpaw calmly.

[As much as Silentpaw wanted to scream and run, she knew this wasn;t a time to be freaking out. She had to be strong, no matter what. Hopefully her brother would be safe. Silentpaw wouldn't know what she would do if something happened to Guardianvow. He had been there through it all with her and she didn't plan on losing him anytime soon. Taking a deep breath, Silentpaw gazed around the clearing as a sickening smell filled her nose. Blood. The revolting smell filled all fo the apprentice's senses and she froze for a split second, the only thign she could was blood. Blood, so much blood. And it was their blood, her clanmates' blood. Snapping out of her trance, Silentpaw turned and followed after Rabbitpaw ready to help in whatever way she could.]

Hauntedheart
"I'm dying on the inside"

[Hauntedheart had been wandering around the clearing, try to catch any sign that StormClan was approuching. They had better get here soon, it was getting late. The medicine cat didn't understand what was keeping them, not that she really cared. All she cared about was seeing her daughter for the first time in moons. She couldn't help but wonder if she had chosen to become a warrior, like her father, or a medicine cat, like her. As far as Hauntedheart knew, Moonblaze hadn't had an apprentice last time the medicine cats ahd gathered. It was possible that her daughter had become her apprentice, yet it was also highly unlikely that was the case. Hauntedheart didn't even know what her daughter was like, let alone if she had the skills to becoem a medicine cat. For alls he knew, her daughter could be a ruthless killing mechine like Fathom had become. The she-cat shook he rhead violently. No, she couldn't think like that. She had been raised for Foxclaw, and then StormClan when he had been killed. She was probably the best apprentice they had, a warrior at heart just like her father. Hauntedheart smiled at the thought of her daughter fighting proudly for her clan, the one that had raised her. No matter what path her daughter had chosen, Hauntedheart knew she would be proud of her.

A sudden yowl caught the medicine cat's attention and she spun around toward it. She sniffed the air and pricked her ears, something was wrong. She didn't know what but something felt terribly off to the NightClan she-cat. Her crystal gaze turned toward the sky and widened at the sight before her. The moon had turned a shade of blue, bathing the clearing in blue light. What was going on? Hauntedheart jumped into action as Glaestar's orders reached her ears. Hauntedheart raced toward the nearest kit to her (Stormkit) and quickly picked him up. The kit let out a few mews of protest but Hauntedheart ignored him. She quickly handed him off to a cat by the bridge before rushing back in the sea of cats. She glanced around, tyring to see if any kits had been left behind, though it seemed all of them had been taken to safety. Hauntedheart let out a side of relief. Her relief, however, was quick lived as Ravage stormed onto the island. The cats around ehr quickly erupted into panic and began to rush everywhere, some rushing toward the beast while others ran in the opposite direction. Cowards, Hauntedheart tought as she watched some cats flee. If they wouldn't stand and fight, then they didn't deserve to be called warriors. She felt adrenaline running through ehr veins and her claws dug into the ground underneath. The need to fight filled ehr entire being but another feeling pulled forcefully at it. she was a medicine cat, not a warrior. Her job was to heal, not fight. They needed her to be be strong and healthy to do her job. Yet her clan needed her, they needed all the extra cats they could get.

Her gaze darted from cat to cat as blood filled her nose. There was so much blood already, clan cat blood. Actually, the more she looked, the more she noticed that Ravage didn't even have one wound on him. All the blood spilled was from the clans, and some of the cats were already dead. Was this their fate, death? Hauntedheart wasn't even sure if they could defeat these beasts, especially if they couldn't injure them. She hissed angrily, still unsure what to do. Rabbitpaw probably needed her help but she wanted to fight, more then anything. She suddenly felt a warm pressense surround her and a familiar scent overpowered the blood. She reconized it right away. "Go, my dear, fight for those who have fought for you," the velvet voice whispered in her mind. Hauntedheart couldn't help but gasp as a purr rose in her throat. Joy filled her as she purred softly, almost in a whisper. She didn't understand how it was possible to hear him, but at the moment she didn't care. Foxclaw was telling her to fight, to protect her clanmates. She closed her eyes briefly, letting his warm presense close in tightly on her. The cats around her were forgotten momentarily and the yowls faded to whispers in her mind. All she could sense was her mate's pressense, it was all she wanted to feel. "Go Mama, go fight!" a small voice squeaked and Hauntedheart gasped again. Her kit! Oh her dear son! He was here, with his father, with her. This time, Hauntedheart didn't even bother to hold back the purr in her throat as she happily embraced her son's pressense in her mind. It felt like nothing she had ever experianced. What she would have given to see him and his sister grow up, to raise them herself, with their father.

Hauntedheart's eyes snapped open and she narrowed her eyes. Determination, filled every bone in her body as her familys' pressences surrounded her tighter. Her eyes blazed as she dug her claws into the ground and glared at Ravage. She hissed angrily and quickly rushed forward. The spirits of ehr loved ones seemed to fill her with strength, like StarClan was with her tonight. She charged into the fray of cats, straight toward Ravage. Adrenaline pumped through her veins, making ehr feel big and powerful. She quickly gathered herself and lunged toward the lion's front leg, trying to land a blow to it. It didn't matter if no cat had landed a blow yet, Hauntedheart was determined to keep at it until she did. If this was truly where she would meet her end, then the medicine cat wasn't going down lying down. She'd fight until the breath left her lungs, until the light left her eyes, and until she no longer had any fight left in her. Whether that day came today or tomorrow, Hauntedheart would fight and she'd never give in.]

((I hope it was okay to allow Hauntedheart to feel/hear Foxclaw's and Whitekit's pressence. If not I'll change it.

Oh and is Anarchy supposed to fight, and if so who should she aim for? Just groups of cats like Ravage or anyone in paticular?))

[ One paw slap would hurt. wink ]

~Cherrydrop~
Mentor of Breezeclan

[ Everything was fine, at least Cherrydrop thought. Everyone was chattering. Soon enough the chatters turned into screeches. Cherrydrop whipped her head in the direction where the screeching started. She spotted a beast... A LION! Cherrydrop was frightened and taken aback. Why didn't she notice that everyone was talking too loudly? Now the only thing she could do is freeze. But suddenly she noticed she was charging at the beast. Cherrydrop jumped at the lions muscular leg, biting ferociously. But nothing had happened. Cherrydrop hissed and spat at the lion as she tried to locate a weak spot. How dare he mess with all the clans!! ]

[ A roar startled me, sending me into the air. Then howls of panic and screeches of fear scared me. Falconpaw shot his head up, and I looked at him, shock filled in my eyes. I was panicking. I looked at Silentpaw, and got closer to her. I started feeling protective. Half of me was determined that no one would hurt my friends. But the other half was freaking out. That part led me into leaning into my friend. I straightened myself, and then looked at him. I was still panicked.
" What do we do? Do we run? "
[ My questions were answered as Rabbitpaw approached and started giving orders. I was glad. As soon as I heard my job, I nodded and was about to start looking for cats. ]
" Okay! " I said in a soft but relieved voice.
[ I slipped through the bushes and tried to remember my route as I ran. I found a perfect spot to see the battle, and looked for any hurt cats. ]

[Swansong nodded slightly as he was receiving his orders, gazing at the medicine cat apprentice with an indifferent stare. It sounded simple enough; just dragging injured cats back to him ot be treated. The addition to that order made him freeze though. As inconspicuous as possible. He blinked thoughtfully for a moment. Hmm...perhaps there's enough commotion out there so I won't be noticed, he thought deeply, tilting his head to one side for a moment. His ears flicked nervously though. There wasn't just one enemy out there; there were two sets of eyes. He blinked. It was more likely he would be caught. His eyes narrowed slightly, still thinking hard. Then again, considering the enemy, perhaps they already have set targets or a battle strategy; like the lion flushing us out, and the other leopard-thing killing anything that escapes. His forehead scrunched up as he concentrated harder. They could very well have some sort of plan like that, they were smart enough to know that the Gathering was happening that night. He sighed wearily, clearing his mind with a few rapid shakes of his head. That probably didn't really matter at that moment.

Swansong stood up, slinking through the bushes. He expertly followed Songpaw's path, wincing as thorns and brambles tugged at his pelt and whiskers. The thorns prickled his pelt like the claws of kits. He hissed slightly. Stupid thorns. He pressed forward though, intentionally disturbing the leaves around him. It looked like this tunnel was going to be used a lot that night.

Swansong stopped as he spotted a silver tom carrying a younger cat. He guessed it to be an apprentice. He squinted from his hiding place in the bushes. He recognized the silver cat; he had heard that his name was Stripewhisker some time before. His ears flickered. Names didn't really matter; what probably mattered the most was what he was hauling.

As Stripewhisker called out for some cat by the name of Joyfeather, he slunk out of the bushes, sticking to the shadows. He glanced warily from side to side before he approached. He gave Stripewhisker a light n** on the ear, still crouched down slightly. His head quickly turned around, scanning the clearing. He still couldn't spot the beasts. Good sign. He looked back at Stripewhisker and the apprentice he had in tow, nodding slightly to the small hole he had made in the bushes. He crouched low to the ground, quickly weaving back through the battleground. He looked back, gesturing with his tail for the two to follow. He demonstrated a crouch before he slunk back into the bushes. He only prayed that they had understood him. His eyes narrowed slightly as he slowly padded through the tunnel, shouldering through the leaves. There was always that one cat that he would find once every couple moons who was a complete moron. He snorted lightly. Those kinds of cats were always irritating.

Swansong glanced behind him cautiously, pausing so he could spot Stripewhisker before he moved on.]

[ooc:] If you don't mind his help. :3

[Mudnose's fur rose uneasily as Galestar ordered the elders and kits to get off the island. She flickered her ears slightly, her eyes darting around the clearing to catch any hint of the attackers. She stumbled to the right slightly when someone bumped into her. A pained sigh followed. Mudnose quickly turned around, looking down at a small, dark gray figure. The old tom stared back up at her, eyes narrowed ever so slightly. Mudnose's eyes widened and she bent down to grab ahold of the elder's scruff. Claws scored across her face. The tom growled slightly, backing up. Mudnose growled slightly, stomping after him.]
"Don't be difficult, Rocktail!"
[she meowed impatiently. Rocktail[NP] hesitated for a moment, glancing around the clearing. He frowned slightly, obviously displeased with the result of him looking around. Mudnose was about to ask, but then it dawned on her: He was looking for Crystalshine[NP].

Mudnose whirled around, searching vainly for the stark white she-cat. She almost collided with her. She heaved a sigh of relief, nodding slightly.]
"I'll help you get out of here, you two,"
[she meowed, smiling. Crystalshine meowed a thankful reply. Rocktail shifted next to her, his face showing his obvious discomfort. She ignored it, quickly beckoning them to the log.

As it came to be the two elders turns to cross, Mudnose nodded slightly, watching cautiously as Crystalshine clambered clumsily up onto the log. She looked back once, smiling thankfully. Mudnose nodded slightly, smiling. Elders were so cute!

A sudden roar made the stark white she-cat's fur fluff up. She spat angrily at the lion, but the angry snarls soon turned to horrified shrieks. Ravage had picked up the fallen tree.

A horrified yowl came from Rocktail as Crystalshine hit the water. He shot forward, diving into the churning water after her. Mudnose shireked, dashing to the edge. She searched vainly for any sign of the white she-cat and the gray tom. She couldn't spot the two elders. Her breath caught in her throat. They had been swept under the currents. She bowed her head slightly in respect before she turned around, bolting after Ravage. She hurtled after him, leaping at his shoulder. Her paws slipped and her claws extended as she tried to bury them in the lion's pelt. She kept slipping. Her eyes widened in shock as she easily slid down the lion's pelt. His hide....she couldn't get a grip on his hide. She blinked, her eyes wide. Was a lion's skin naturally that tough?

Mudnose backed up slightly, her paws lashing out once more in a frenzied attempt to damage Ravage in any way.]

[ooc:] two elder NP's are out of the way. So sad! D': Feel free to smack her to the side or something; nothing that'll definitely kill her though. She's gotta survive the timeskip to have had her babies. >.>

"It takes courage,
To grow up and become who you really are"

[Shiftstar kept her eyes on the moon as the Gathering progressed. StormClan still had not arrived. There was no doubt in her mind now. They had been attacked. Even if Silverstar had been able to fend off the slayer then they certainly would recover at camp. It would be much too dangerous to move the injured to the Gathering.

Shiftstar tensed and her ears shot forward. A warning. Then another. They were clear like the sound of the waves crashing against the cliffs of SeaClan. The leader jumped into action. As if on the same thought as Galestar, the she cat moved to gather the young and old. She herded them toward the bridge, all the while keeping her eyes on her surroundings. The water was no problem for SeaClan, but the other clans were at a disadvantage. She suspected that the slayers would find the water to be little more than an annoyance. Would they go after the bridge? If so they, apart from SeaClan, would be trapped.

A slayer was already upon them. Shiftstar whirled on the beast. It was menacing. How could the clans defend against that? The leader took a heart beat to regain her composure and allow everything to sink in. The noise of panic and battle, the bright light from the moon, the sound of soft flowing water, and strength running through her muscles. She bounded toward Ravage and threw herself at the lion. It appeared Dragonfire was already having a hard time doing anything but annoy the savage slayer. She jumped high and caught her claws in the lion's mane, hoping it would allow her to cling to the slayer.]

[Cherrypaw began searching the clearing for Drizzlekit, one of Rainface's kits. She knew Stormkit was in good hands, and Rainface's first litter would be fine as well. Rosekit and Drizzlekit were her main priority. As she scanned the area, she saw a small dusty brown she-cat with gray speckles. The apprentice immediately ran to the kit and picked her up. Drizzlekit mewed, scared out of her mind.]"Don't worry, Drizzlekit. Your safe now."[She said sweetly, making the kit feel safe. Cherrypaw had reached the water. Being apart of Seaclan was surely an advantage here. Quickly, the calico she-cat dived in, her head above the water, trying her best to keep the kit out of it. After a few minutes of swimming across, she reached the other side. Rainface was already there. Cherrypaw handed the kit to her mother, who happily rejoiced. Now time to fine Rosekit.]

[Stripewhisker slightly hissed as he felt something n** at him. Turning around, he realized that it was another cat. It was Swansong of Nightclan. He had heard of the tom before, and now he had come to help them. Quickly, He turned his attention to the black and white tom and followed him.]"Hey, you know anything about broken ribs?"[The tom quietly hissed as he padded after Swansong. He watched as Swansong crouched down. Did that mean he had to crouch? Never mind that, Stripewhisker crouched down low to the ground, and carried Firepaw with him.]

S W A N S O N G

[Swansong nodded once when he spotted Stripewhisker following after him. He turned around, smirking slightly. Though he was a cat of an enemy Clan, he was glad that he was bright. He continued silently through the tunnel, tearing at loose thorned twigs in his jaws as he continued. He winced slightly, dropping them to the far sides of the small path. He quickly rasped the blood that had started dribbling out of his mouth, shuddering slightly. His mouth stung, but at least it made the path slightly more bearable. Rabbitpaw would most likely have something for it anyhow.

Swansong stopped when his eyes finally found Rabbitpaw where he had left him and the rest of the group. He blinked once, gesturing with his head to the side to indicate the arrival of new cats.]

R A B B I T P A W

[Rabbitpaw looked up as Swansong rejoined the group. The scent of fish and sea water told him that there were a few others with him. He tipped his head to the side curiously, peeking past the small black and white warrior. Swansong ducked out of the way, slinking out of the bushes and into the clearing. He nodded a goodbye to the silent warrior before his gaze returned to the newcomers. He blinked once, tipping his head to the side once more as he examined the unconscious bundle that the SeaClan warrior carried with him. The side of Firepaw seemed oddly bumpy. His eyes narrowed slightly, suddenly having a bad feeling in his gut. He looked back at Stripewhisker for a moment, pursing his lips. He nodded, bowing slightly.]
Oi, you most likely haven't seen me 'round, but I ain't got the time to introduce myself now so apologies, good sir,"
[he murmured quickly. He took a few steps toward Stripewhisker and Firepaw, quietly murmuring to the warrior to set the apprentice down gently as possible. He examined him for a moment and sat back on his haunches, lightly running his good paw down his side. It definitely felt bumpy. He shut his eyes. Broken ribs. My specialty, he thought sarcastically. His brain immediately flashed back to Tigerfang and Mudnose's cases, trying to rack his brain for information. He nodded thoughtfully. Make sure the cat isn't coughing up blood, and is breathing right, he thought quickly. His paw rested on Firepaw's chest for a moment, pressing gently. The apprentice's breaths were pained and shallow, but it didn't feel like anything out of the ordinary. He nodded. That was a good sign.

Rabbitpaw looked down at Firepaw's side next. He would have to make sure that the ribs were in place, so they would mend right. He snorted. The fun part. His eyes flickered down to his right paw, which was visibly bent funny and out of shape. He sighed. He definitely wouldn't be able to reset it alone. He looked up at Stripewhisker, his whiskers twitching slightly for a moment.]
"How squeamish are you when it comes to injuries?"

P i n e - e y e s

- Just transported him- It's up to you whether he actually makes it or not blaugh -

[My ears shot up in alarm as a terrified yowl broke the clearing. And in that moment, everything seemed to go up in a riot. The yowl had now multiplied and there were cats now yowling with fear and surprise as the thick stench of the Slayers drifted over. I stood, confused and frozen to the spot with my nose in the little brown kit's fur, cats converging around me. For a moment, it seemed my mind had emptied of anything useful... We were going to die... There was no hope... Foxdung. Wait... We were all going to die! Panic momentarily filled my soul, but at the sound of Galestar's yowl, I seemed to regain my senses. Quickly and without thinking, I grabbed the Seaclan kit's scruff and sprinted for the log. My sides were already heaving with the exhilaration and I hurried to drop the kit(Ludwig) by the exit, giving him a fierce nudge and hissing "Go!" before turning tails and jumping in to join my clan mates.]

[Reality seemed to slow as a crackling sound split around the air and I turned to watch as the giant lion destroyed the log. I gaped with shock and fear coursed through my body. We were trapped on an island with a couple of practically invincible monsters! I looked up for one heart daringly second to stare at the pure bright moon. It was mocking us, wasn't it? Hissing, I turned away and joined the others attack on the giant golden lion. As my body made it's way toward the front, I leapt at him, expecting to cling on with my claws, but there was something wrong. It was like using sheathed claws, and my paws scrabbled to get a grip on the hide. What dark magic was this!]

G i n g e r e y e

- Snowdapple of Nightclan down :I -

[Gingereye has only looked up with a rather annoyed glint in her eye as the warning yowls pierced the air, thinking at first that it was just a bunch of apprentices romping around again. But her entire position changed as the yowls intensified and she identified them as her own clanmates, Mapleheart and Embergaze. Flying to her paws and fur bristling as she turned to look at the log with an 'I'm ready for it all' expression, Gingereye almost jumped out of her fur as Galestar yowled for the evacuation of kit's and elders first. Right, of course, why hadn't she already known that! She turned to give a fierce nod to Starkcloud and murmured, "Good luck." before turning around.]

[Gingereye dashed for the log and stood at the shore, nodding a quick acceptance to Mudnose, and began giving elders and kits a boost up and a few encouraging words as she hurried them off the island. As the giant lion approached, Gingereye stayed, trying vainly to get Snowdapple (NP), a white elder, to come back onto the island. The elder was indecisive, unsure on whether to sprint for mainland or to come back. The lion was getting closer and the elders movements became more jerky and finally she seemed settled, making a dash for the island, but it was too late. The lion was already clambering onto the shore. Gingereye had to scramble out of the way as a giant paw swooped down on the log, and she watched with a wide eye as the elder bailed her plan, flinging herself into the water. A shower of wood and branches crashed on top of her, and suddenly the elder was gone. Gingereye was horrified, but dipped her head momentarily in respect]

[ Turning around, Gingereye swooped into the mass of cats, ginger tail streaming behind as she looked for the dead or injured to take back to the medcine cats or to place somewhere where they wouldn't cause any obstacle to other cats.]
