Niobe scurried about the kitchen, taking an occasional taste of the food she was preparing and being distracted by little things in the house. She went on this way for only minutes before she heard a brief, dull scratching sound just under one of the windows. Seconds later Niobe heard a clicking sound on the roof, and then finally a rythmic knocking at the door. The number of individuals who knew the 'code' to be let safely into her household was slim, especially since two of those people were dead. Niobe hurried over to the backdoor, where she knew her visitor would be waiting. She practically tore the door off it's hinges trying to open it quickly. Before her eyes stood a Maharan with extremely long dark blue hair; the face was not visible as it was hidden by said hair, but it was definitely male as determined by voice.
"Niobe, pardon my disturbance..."
"Luka?!"
"....the Maharan army has increased activity levels. As I have last witnessed, they are on the move and laying siege to the Larovians."
"Why are you telling me this? stare The last time I saw you, you betrayed me."
"Is that not what creatures like ourselves do?"
stressed "What do you want?"~

(((Yeah I think I know who it is Azure. Anyway, this should get things moving once again.)))
As the battles raged below, Issildia and the others stood as the edge of a rise at the edge of the forested area, overlooking Baledon Sukiyo. Some time had passed as they had decided to make camp and wait for the opportune moment to find and confront Khastur...it was apparent that the opportunity had finally arisin.
"The Trenian forces...they march under the same banner as the soldiers that destroyed Faltora..." Issildia murmured to herself, as they prepared to descend upon the city once again.
"And they shall be repaid in kind for all they have wrought..." she muttered before turning her attention back to the matter at hand. She could faintly sense Khastur's presence approaching the battle, where the Trenian troops now attacked the city.
"Now is our chance..." she said in an unreadable tone. "Should we find Khastur...remember that we are here to reason with him...not grant the means to his death."

"Well... here I was hopeing I'd get a few hours of sleep before this was going to happen... silly me."
Sighing Sin looked over at Issilida. He sat on a nearby rock, one leg hanging off the edge of it and his other bent near his chest. He had his arm drapped over his knee and his other arm behind him, supporting his weight.
"So how are we going to do this? Seeing as I stabbed right though his arm I don't think I'm the best one for the confrentation.... that and other obvious reasons... Want me to clear the path to him?"

"Cut down the heretics! Only their blood can clean their deep sin!" Storming the front lines, Khastur let beams of holy magic erupt from his right hand as the sword in his left tore his enemies asunder, the ninety-nine under his command fought berzerk-- enchanted by spells Khastur had cast to strengthen their resolve.

"Yes..." Issildia replied distantly as she watched a small band of troops garbed in the larovian colors of black and silver, charge into the Trenian forces...led by Khastur.
It seemed that this war was now more than simply a battle between two sides...it wasn't as simple as good and evil anymore, it was a battle of resolve and of purpose.
"Sin." Issildia uttered as her eyes narrowed ever so slightly, taking on a darker hue. Slowly she drew her blade and turned to descend on foot towards the battle. She did not care if Sin put any form of finesse into the manner that he cleared the enemy out of their way in order to reach Khastur. Little mattered to Issildia at that moment, other than how she was to reason with her former comrade, without being forced to cross blades with him.
"Clear a path..."

Hopping off of his rock Sin smiled and cracked his knuckles. Putting his hands together lines of red passed though the fingers and Sin felt the fire inside his body begin to gather strength.
"Now that’s what I like to hear..."
Crouching down he suddenly dashed forwards. He gained a burst of speed from not only the two seals he unlocked but also the slope from the hill they had stood on. Charging past Issildia Sin leapt into the air, once he made it to the bottom of the hill, and landed with both feet on the ground. He slammed his fists downwards, adding force from his jump, into the ground and the entire area around him exploded with a massive burst of flame. He sent troops all around him, from both sides, flying into the air and into each other.
Raising his fists again he reared back with his right hand and slammed his hand into the ground again, at an angle towards the front lines and Khastur, and a similar explosion tore through the troops in front of him. Reaching back with his left hand he charged forwards once again and moved into the cleared out area in front of him. By now many of the troops had noticed his and pyromania and tried to fight back but every time they tried to retaliate Sin sent an explosion through their formations and blew them away.
This method of attack led Sin right to the front lines where he began to hear a rhetoric coming from the very for-front of the battle. Leaping into the air he bypassed the last few troops in his way to Khastur and landed a ways in front of him, in the forces of the Trenian army, and brought both fists in a spin around him. The fire this time was more like a tornado then an explosion. Stopping his spin he sent the fire outwards forming a barrier of fire and wind around him. The flame tornado expanded outwards and Sin turned around to face Khastur knowing full well that his barrier wouldn't even phase him.
"The way is clear Issildia…”

Khastur looked to his right, only to catch Issildia with her sword drawn, and Sin charging at him. He came down from his horse, his brow furrowed with a vice grip on his sword "Allready they've come....How dare they..Does everyone think I'm weak? I can't fight?! Reinsen, Issildia, Sin-- I'll show them all!" cleaving an enemy soldier in two before him he closed the gap between him and Sin. Khastur let a spell erupt from his hand, a great beam coming at an alarming speed to the ground before Sin's feet. "You think you can take me!? Come! Come, sir boy!"

((I'm going to assume that it's just a standard explosion beamy thing... confused ))
Sin waited until the last moment before diving to the side as the beam hit the ground. Brushing off the dirt from the explosion Sin stood up from where he had dived to the side and looked at Khastur.
"I'm not the one here to fight you today... I'm just here to make sure we're not interrupted by any of your lackeys..."

Seishin came to stand by Kegawa, whispering in a low tone, " Should we help?" He gazed at Kegawa blindly, trying to read his expressions.
Kegawa was silent for several moments as if he was alone in the world as he gazed out towards the chaos that was beginning. "Impressive.." He said to himself acknoledging Sin's abilities. After several more moments he turned finially acknowledging Seishin's existance as if he had just suddenly appeared. " No... We shall wait for now... Remember, We are needed elsewhere and it is important that nothing happens to the bodies given to us... Though perhaps you can send Kojin forth if a time comes when they need our help."
Seishin nodded his silent reply as he gazed back towards the battle. Neither of them we're their allies or enemies. He stabbed his staff into the soft soil, letting it stand on its own as he kneeled low to the earth, putting his hands into a specific gesture as he closed his eyes. As he concentrated a dark purple aura emminated in a dome around his body pulsing to its own beat as if it we're alive, in preparation in case Kojin was needed.

Issildia descend down towards the battle behind Sin at a persistent pace. She passed into the area dominated by the battle to lay siege to Baledon Sukiyo, the Larovians entering the battle to her left and the Trenian soldiers to her right as they attacked the city.
Interestingly enough as she passed through the inferno that Sin had created, the flames shrank back slightly to make a clear path while they took on a sapphire hue; evidence that finally the opposing elements that she held dominion over were beginning to form a symbiotic balance and evolve into something else entirely. Though she still had some distance to go before a perfect balance could be attained.
"See to it that we are not interrupted Sin...." Issildia said gravely as her eyes settled on her former comrade.

Khastur cricked his neck slowly, a series of pops issuing from the joints as he raised his sword. "Have you really risked all of your companions just to get to me? It's that pride Issildia that drove me away, the means don't matter to you as long as you get your way. I'm not following you in the shadows anymore, as after rising above I can see you were leading me nowhere fast."

"No Khastur...they came by choice..." Issildia said in a solemn tone as she stood motionless while they spoke, the battle raging on around them.
"I do not deny the faults I bear...To say the least I have come to terms with many things of late." she said truthfully.
"But you Khastur...you have chosen to ally yourself with the one person that you once swore to defeat. This may have begun as a quest to accomplish your goals...but you have faults just as I do...except now...you are allowing them to rule you."

Khastur scoffed and spat on the ground, widening his stance a bit as he smirked. "Tell me Issildia: Streak, Demitri, Azrielle....Do you ever see them in your dreams? What do they tell you...? They must speak to you, what do they say?"

Sin kept back a ways, his flame tornado grew due to the fact that he was able to concentrate on it. The battle raged on around them, many of the solders thinking this was a spell cast by their enemy. As Khastur spoke to Issildia and continued to insult her Sin gritted his teeth, trying not to snap.
'Issildia has a better chance of convinceing him of his misdeeds then I... I have to follow her order this time...'

"There is not a moment that I am not reminded of the mistakes I have made...and of what I am responsible for." she answered darkly.
"But do not attempt to turn my past against me...for I know it better than anyone else...I know of its treachery...and of it's wrath, it's sorrow and of it's shame...Yet I have also come to understand than it can not be changed...only learned from."
