~For the things I've done...~You know what they should do? Delete accounts automatically that haven't been on for a year.
That way I wouldn't have to try to learn how to do this crap, and risk getting in trouble. Bl

Ahh, I see. I know how you feel! D: The user behind the original Kratos Aurion account left in 2004 and I want that username so badly for my Kratos-avi. mad I have actually thought about contacting that user (the e-mail address was left there in a picture that is now...erased...) and asking if he could free up that name. But I held back because I'm sure he doesn't want to be bothered by some random stranger. >_>
Accounts can't be deleted, because the system numbers them all...it's those numbers seen in our profile URLs. If one number goes missing, it is said that Gaia will epically crash.
What they should do is auto-change the names of accounts that haven't been signed on in a year or more to gibberish. This frees up those usernames we want, but then there's that whole "possibility that the user would come back" codswallop. =_= But jeez, they could also make it so that it sends a warning e-mail to the user so that if they don't log on within a time limit, their username is auto-changed!

All points taken.. But then maybe I can learn to script their names? Then I could just rename the account to something like "blahblah010201" or whatever, and free up the name?

See, I don't think like that because I'm far too paranoid about getting caught.  Though it looks like the admins rarely, rarely ever do IP bans, I worry about that too. ;;>.>

So if you plead your case well enough if they DO IP ban you.. ya can probably get it back.

So it would be best to go somewhere with free computer access like a school computer lab or something to do it.

Hm... I'm not entirely sure how to take this... I tried out for a community play and got a part, all right. But it's the one part that doesn't actually speak. They're there and they make noise, but they don't talk.

I personally wouldn't complain if I were in the same position. I despise getting speaking roles, because I suck at memorizing lines. That, and I screw lines up because I have major stage-fright. Good job with getting a role, though.

Yeah. I'm not complaining, since at least I got something. But it's still interesting. At least I won't start getting confused this year with this play. Since there's this, where all I have to know are cues, there's speech where I have to memorize two pieces, and then drama club. Having one less thing to memorize is gonna be helpful. XP
