Skizzors @Stream: The alcohol discussion with my parents actually went less along the lines of "don't drink, you're underage, it's illegal and stupid" and more like "you're going to drink, just don't get so drunk you forget your name. And don't get caught." cool Yeahhh. ...although I haven't had any alcohol-thing I actually like except for things with rum. Rum is rather nice.Rum is rather nice with coke... and a lot of juices... oh my god, I'm giving alcohol advice to a 12 year old. An awesome 12 year old, yes, but still a 12 year old. gonk

@Rae: Of course I will take pictures! o/ Plus European Studies has a study abroad REQUIREMENT, so if I do declare into that, I'll have to go somewhere. So there will be pictures yes. Most likely of Russia. Because Russia is rad!

Streamjumper Oh, Kin... July 5th is when the High School of the Dead anime starts... Yep. Japan's got zombie problems too. I'll be on XBL a bit tonight. If anyone wants to play, send me a message. FFT.
Today I was supposed to get my packages with RDR, Borderlands and the Borderlands Add-On Pack.
Instead, I got RDR, the Borderlands Add-On Pack and the Borderlands Add-On Pack.
After some crappy dealings-with, Amazon did at least credit me some money to make up the difference of what I'll be paying to buy it again (since I'd originally purchased a used, like-new copy for $7 less than the new price, but that's no longer available and I now I have to buy new). But I won't have it until later in the week. =/

But I won't have it until later in the week. =/ At least RDR and poking around at random demos (Splosion Man might give you a serious case of the giggles... as well as any of the Sam & Max stuff) can give you a lot of enjoyment. Amazon best not similarly ******** up my Transformers DVD order in a similar manner. The game is gonna have me seriously wanting to watch the original series.

Yeah, I'm glad I've at least got RDR. whee I should start hooking my Xbox up in a few minutes here. I haven't yet figured out the interwebs issue, but I think my cable may stretch far enough to get to the system.
This is the first really big error I've had from Amazon, so hopefully there won't be any problems with your order. :3

Only time I like rum is either in a tropical drink like a Scorpion Bowl, Margarita, or Pina Colada... or the occasional straight shot. My preferences for the hard liquors is Scotch, Bourbon, or Whiskey, in that order. And the scotch really should be a single-malt. As far as beer goes, I have a strong recommendation (both in intensity of my suggestion and in percent of alcohol) for anyone interested. Michelle's sister and her husband like to get me a few bottles of unusual beers each year for Christmas as a part of my present. Despite their admittedly random nature of selection ("We just grab whatever really holds our eye and seems kinda out there"), they've grabbed me some great ones over the years. Last Christmas they grabbed me one even better than the Arrogant b*****d Ale from a few years before (which was excellent, and I had wanted to try for ages)... Blithering Idiot. This is a Barlywine style beer with a big, round taste... masking an alcohol content of 11.1%. Most beers 9% and up have an obvious taste letting you know they're strong, but this actually tastes more like a 6-7%, but you start feeling it pretty soon. It is pretty pricey stuff, but as something to go with a particularly good meal or commemorate a special occasion (and manly a manly one at that-- like celebrating the birth of a son), and well worth the expense. Whiskey's growing on me.
I don't mind rum, but not often in mixed drinks or anything.
Really I'm more of a vodka girl. I don't care if it's weak or strong - vodka drinks are love.
