Well that news just ruined things. A friend of dad's and well the family too just committed suicide. confused
After so many years of knowing him he just decides to off himself. It's sad. sad
We'll find out more of what and how it happened later today I think.

The Olympic opening was pretty neat, especially the unison thing with the drums, and all the other arts.
I was real impressed.
And the dresses that the girls who held up the name of each country during the parade thing were real, real beautiful in my opinion.

I would rather have had the evolving item report than the donation items a week early. D:
And bitchy though it may be, I really hope she can't get a ticket to the festival - maybe she should've figured on going way back in February when the rest of us bought our tickets, and instead of impulsively spending it on a guitar, she could've bought a ticket - and then she wouldn't be asking us for help finding one now.
Whatever.

Ugh, can we have a non-swimming/gymnastics Olympic channel. Sorry, but I didn't care about Phelps four years ago. More sports like fencing, less sports like swimming. Seriously, we swept women's fencing and they still can't shut up about Phelps. It's not like he's a black guy running for president. This is what I hate about their coverage. You barely get to watch any of the actual interesting sports.
Ugh, I want motivation. So tired of this.
