Dr. Fomite I've always meant to watch Dr. Who but I have trouble jumping into things that are already going. crying Need to start at the beginning...some daaaay.
So, unrelated: I bred up some Chikoritas last night. I get the feeling most people playing SS/HG went with a different starter, so let me know if you'd like me to trade you one. X3

Netflix. I started watching Doctor Who with the 9th doctor when it aired on the Sci-fi Channel (although I saw many episodes out of order), so Stream and I just started ordering the discs from Netflix.

So, Stream and I are having our Jack and Jill shower this Saturday, and it's a Hawaiian theme.

Also, guys. I know a lot of you know my dad is a major douchebag.
I told him off completely today after he made a long post about how I'm a "shitbag liberal" who was raised by "self-righteous New York assholes" and who deserves no respect because I "lie, cheat, and steal."
.... He said this in response to me telling him he's banned on most message boards for trolling, and he'd probably be better off putting his ideas into something of his own to share with people who agree.

X3 I've only seen the newer seasons of Dr. Who. Fortunately for me, my sister is the one who got me into it and has seen most/a lot of old Dr. Who. Thus, I get a lot of the references to older things pointed out. XD

I started Heart Gold. But then I got an idea. A horrible, horrible idea that wormed its way into my mind and by the time I beat Whitney, had exploded into a full fledged desire to brutalize myself in the worst way possible. By playing pokemon.
I am going to restart and Nuzlocke the hell out of this game.
And I am going to fail. Horribly.

You know, I never realized that when people throw a party for you...just how exhausting it actually is. I didn't have to do anything as far as planning goes. Just show up and mingle with friends and family.
My god...our combined families are exhausting. After the shower, we got home and brought up some of the leftover food, and then actually debated about bringing up the presents...or just crashing out on the bed..at 5 pm.
Guess which option won?

Stream and I are going to need a whole lot of coffee at the reception to keep us going.
