"Straight vodka for me. That's all I ever have." She was a simple drinker really, and she had a thing for Vodka..probably got it from her grandmother or something.
"Just a G&T for me...I like my drinking none too fancy really. It's alcohol, not a magazine cover. Besdies, when I'm drunk off my a** I have to mumble somethign someone will understand."
He squinted an eye as he was donked in teh head with a walnut. Okay what a*****e was throwign things at him? Oh...it was Moira...and look it that he had the whole little possy with him. Though a raised eyebrow at Lillia as she basically invited him over. He waved back and picked up his drink, working through bar crowd to get over there. "If you don't mind...I don't like to impose..."

"Sit your a** in a seat Rennell, that's an order. IF your going to drink your drinking with us."
And a set of codes punched into a panel on teh table and drinks were in and woudl be coming soon.
"And it's Jellybean's D.O.B so you better be beaming like normal."
Soon enough drink were served, and James was enjoying his. though taking it slow. after all, he knew how he was when he drank. not pleasent.
"And I still think the Captian is partially resposible for your issues as well, Jelena. I don't put it past the man. though I do give him credit for having some intestinal fortitude. I mean if push comes to shove, I can probably get most of the Board deported to earhth and replaced if I wanted."

A glare at James. Did he have to be so brash all the time? "No, not imposing at all. We want you here with us." And then her drink was served. Yummy, a very small concentrate of alcohol since she didn't hold hers all taht well, it was more like a daquiri or wine cooler than naything else, just a special name.
"D.O.B...wow you can definitely tell you're a tech guy James." A giggle and then she turned back to the others at the table and lifted her glass. "I propose a toast to Dr. Jelena Trevale who not only has made it through more stuff than most of us combined but faced Board today and came out not only on top but stronger for it."

"Pushy, pushy." But he took a seat at thier table, hey company was always enjoyed and this was out of the way of the general crowd. "You weren't saying that yesterday Moira, now were you." Granted he was just mean. Though a smile at Jelena, both at birthday annoucenment and raising his glass per Lillia's prodding. "Indeed, I'll be beaming for you. Congrats on another fun year and on your Board. I take it you're not getting shipped down?"
"Hopefully not...I'm only being held accountable for five of six charges...they're not to bad...I may get some suspentions and what not, and my resources may be halfed to limit me on my things and doing. Probation and what not. You know, the standards. But James got me off my shipping charges." A little cuddle into James at that one, though she was still reminding herself to apologize for being an a** the night before.
He chuckled some. "Careful Cryix, I'll whack you in the head with another nut if you're no fun tonight. I like my drinking fun." Then a look to the other three in turn. "Is that so? Well that's good. Though you really think they'd put you on serious probation?"

"Yesterday you caught me half drunk. and I'll admit I'm not happy drunk."
A hug for Jelena at her cuddling. a grin at Erik.
"Trust me Jellybean. halfing your present resources won't pinch quite as hard as you might think."
Though he raised his glass at teh toast as well.
"Speaking of Echo...what's the present news on teh Cerebus project? is it s furry puppy yet?"
A grin at Rennell.
"I made an Echo."

"No no you're not at all. You're down right depressing...get fussed out by Jessica yet? I know she fussing out for me and that tech dragging you back, but you know...you're heay. And even heavier when you're out cold." He took a sip of his drink, running a hand through his hair a moment and then cocked an eyebrow at James. "You did, did you. Since when do you have clearance to do that?"
A nod to them all as she sipped at her vodka. "And you're oh so proud of that fact." But her attention went to Erik a moment. "I've been on probation before, remember when I caused that explosion and what not? They'll probably just set me like they did then. I won't like it but I have to pay my dues...I do admit I have been...careless...the past few months..."
"Careless as ever. It's a quirk of yours. Cute really." Though his attention filtered to James. "Yes, it's a nice furry puppy now. But no you can't pet it yet. You can merely stare at it dreamingly." THough he got James point on the resource halfing...nope she'd be fine what with all that new equipment.

"Well..I didn't. not till about thirty minutes ago. however, I helped Jelena with some troubles she was having, and kind of an in return favor, I got to try my hand at the construction of an echo."
Though a bit of a glance to Jessica's table.
"Well no. and I'm hoping she won't notice I'm here, and I won't have to hear about it. you'd think the god awful unknown to entirely human people hangover would be punishment enough. but not for that woman."

Lillia was quiet, just sitting there and listening to the others discuss different things. She did pipe in and say, "Well you deserve it for doing that James. If you're gonna do the crime, better be able to pay the time. You know better and you knew what was going to happen right after you did it."
Then she fell silent again, sipping at her drink every now and then and just thinking. A smile on her face because she knew it had to be there. She'd seen Jelena and James both glance at her when she said DJ and she knew what they were thinking, but they just didn't know her parents like she did. The Nickkos would never do something to jeopardize their reputation, never.
"By the way James, congratulations on finishing your degrees so quickly. After all I've only been working on my doctorate for two years and you just zip right through. Lucky SOB."

He grinned. "Hm...to tell on you or not to tell on you. After all, I didn't have fun being fussed out because of you. Do you know the intensity of the sound waves that woman can out out. I mean good Lord...it was hell to experience really." Especially since his spiffy upgrade.
A look to James. "Suppose this means I'm going to have to do paper work on you. Joy."

"Ah yes. unlike you and Jellybean, I go to teh internet and literally downloaded the courses and all material into the bioware portion of my head. instant years of college and study. what took you six years, tooke me six minutes."
A smirk at Rennell.
"at least your bioware isn't directly inserted into your brain. wake up with that hangover and Jessica's yelling won't be anything. it's like have a mirgane powered by a nuclear reactor while being strapped into the electric chair in the middle of a pool of barracuda."
Then over to Lillia.
"I paid my dues, trust me."
Then to Jelena.
"Nope, I had all teh paperworked filed, scanned, copied and sent and done. all you have to do is update my clearance."

She rolled her eyes and giggled, "Yes Erik told me a little about how much he's done. Quite the bad boy if you ask me." A grin at him before another sip of her drink. God she loved this stuff. Would drink it all night if she could.
"See? That means you nor I have to do any extra work. What a gentleman, he takes care of his own paperwork." Another sip of her drink. "Now if he puts the toilet seat down after he's done and washes his hands, he's a definite keeper."
Hands ruffled through Ren's hair. "Aww poor REnnell. Looks like you survived alright though."

"Do you have to rub it in our faces James? Those degrees and what not were quite the energy killer. As far as I'm concenred I never want to have to take another test or write another thesis for educational purposes ever again."
Though a little nod, sipping at her drink some more. "Now I get to add yellow to your list. I'll make sure I get you all your tags and what not, update files and the like." Then a look to Lillia with a laugh. "Shush you know we speak not of the perfect man in the prescense of others."
Rennell shrugged lightly. "Well...it is partly..." Okay...just through what was left of an optic nerve...but still it kinda was. Though a laugh from him. "My my aren't you a vivd envisioer. I'd hate to be teh oen under a torture thought up by you."
Then a squint of his eye as Lillia went about ruffling his hair...and he reached over, returning the favor. "I only look skinny and fragile. But I'm flexible...helps with that whole breaking thing. And she took it easy on me I think. Which I'm glad for."
"I tell you, we get ourselves into probably more trouble than we're worth." A snort and a look to James. "Tsk tsk tsk, look at the crowd you've fallen in with James. Hope we don't tarnish your nice shiney reputation."

A raise of an eyebrow at James, "Oh come on James, no ruining our fun. We like to be heckraisers, it makes our lives interesting and entertaining." Raising the glass and rolling her eyes as she took the final sip. "Besides if you claim to be the perfect man I'd have to watch you extra closley to hold you to th ehigher standard, might want to rethink that proclamation."
A grin at Rennell as he mussed her own hair and she just shook her head so that it laid right back in her normal style. She longed for her ever present headband though. That would at least keep it out of her eyes. Stupid bangs.

"Aw, you can't kille the eccentric in us all. A force so strong it may merely overwhelm you then you would became eccentric too. Besides, you don't have the heart to bark orders at us in military style. We'd whine too badly.
Though a role of her eyes as her vodka was sent to its resting place in her stomach. Ah vodka. "You mean you put down the seat and wash your hands every time? Hm...I'll have to double check that. Has to be some flaw." A moment of thinking. "Ah I got it...he's too tall to idly kiss. There we are, you're not perfect. So sorry."
