Alede OOC I'm game if you are; what do you think of a three or four month time skip? Kasumi tilted her head, a thoughtful look on her face. "Somehow... I get the feeling he's spoken for," she murmured thoughtfully.

Jin shivered slightly as Rosalyn laughed. "Damn, honey... you sound so damn hot... you seduce me with something as simple as a smile," he mumbled, sighing softly as he half closed his eyes, feeling his tight muscles relaxing to Rosalyn's gentle touch. Forget masseuses, she's all I need, he thought, unaware Rosalyn could pick up on surface thoughts between them. Kÿos smiled faintly, amused as he half turned, the body wash floating into his hand as he picked up a soft washcloth and saturated it in the streaming hot water. "All I really did was show you what you never really lost... you just forgot you had it... but I'm more than proud to protect it for you," he said softly, lightly tapping her nose teasingly before he started washing her body slowly and sensually, making sure not to miss a single spot. Several times, he kissed her skin before washing it, just to tease her.

Constance sat back and watched with a smile as her little girl giggled and toddled across the floor, chasing after the ball she had thrown. It had only been four months since Lorelei and her brother had been born. Already they were getting good at walking and were even able to say a few choice words. It amazed her, and scared her at the same time at how fast they were growing. But she couldn't be any more proud than she already was. She looked up when she heard her mother speak. A smile spread across her face. "Yeah, we are just relaxing."~~~~~~~ Cassandra's hand rested lightly on her stomach as she sat on a window seat in the library and read a book. It had been such a quiet time the last four months. And my how Constance's children had grown! A small smile spread across her face as she felt the kick underneath her hand. This child was quite active. ~~~~~~ Merida sighed as she leaned back against the wall of the bathroom. She was still a little shaky. For the past couple of weeks she had been getting sick in the mornings and she knew exactly what that meant. A baby. She was going to have a baby. It seemed that pregnancy was in the air around here. First Constance and then Cassandra, and now her. She had no doubt some of the others would follow suit soon enough. ~~~~~~~ Carolyn rummaged through the fridge, her stomach growling slightly. She was hungry like all the time now. She had eaten more in the last four months than she had ever eaten before. She had the oddest cravings too. Pickles and ice cream. Taco pizza with sour cream...Carolyn shook her head. It really had been an interesting few months. ~~~~~~~ Rosalyn smiled as she walked into the room where Constance and her children were. Sren-Ko was by her side, walking in sure, easy steps. It hadn't taken him long to learn to walk. It hadn't taken her daughter's children long either. They were all very talented and smart. "Looks like someone is having fun."~~~~~~ Amelia had slipped silently from the bed, leaving Kyos to sleep. She slowly walked through the house, making her way to the music room. It had been so long since she had played, and she felt the urge to do so now. She walked up to the piano and began to play Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. He had always been one of her favorite composers.

Kasumi cocked her head, leaning against the doorjamb as she giggled a little, seeing Carolyn rifling through the cabinets. "Seems I'm not the only one with... interesting tastes in food at the moment," she teased, chuckling.
Naruto took a couple of steps out of the shower, water trickling down his skin as he didn't seem to care that he was showing his body to Merida. "You okay?" he said softly with mild concern.

Merrick cocked an eyebrow as Tásúil chortled, leaning back on one of the couches. The ball levitated a bit before flicking up and over Lorelei's head and bouncing a couple of feet behind his daughter.
Lorcan chuckled a little, sitting next to Tásúil. "It's been quite... well, I can't say boring with these two around... but demonically speaking, it's been more quiet than Death Valley," he deadpanned, shrugging a little. Fortunately, they had found two more of the gemstones like the other they had initially gained. It helps that we know where three others are, though we haven't gathered them yet, he thought.

Jin smiled faintly as he walked along the street, his eyes unconsciously scanning around for threats. Kÿos sighed as he shifted, his eyes fluttering open as he heard the soft classical music playing.

Sren-Ko tilted his head as he rolled his shoulders, looking thoughtful albeit he was quiet at the moment.

Carolyn looked over her shoulder at Kasumi with a grin. "I always thought it was strange how women could eat such things together. Now I just cannot stop myself from doing the same." She shut the fridge and put all her food down. "Do you want anything?"~~~~~ Merida sighed as she looked over at Naruto. "Yeah, I'll be fine." She smiled weakly. "Guess I had better get used to it." She ran her hand through her hair, still sitting on the floor of the bathroom. She didn't want to move right now. Her head was pounding. ~~~~~ Lorelei giggled as she turned around quickly. Before the ball could move away from her again it came at her and she caught it. She jumped up and down, laughing. She toddled over to the couch that Tasuil was sitting on and easily climbed up, sitting next to him. When she caught sight at Sren-Ko she grinned and tossed the ball in his direction. Constance laughed softly and shook her head. "I am glad it has been quiet. I didn't need much time to recuperate, but all the same it's nice. It also allowed us to get used to having little ones running around."
Cassandra looked up from her book when she heard Lorcan. Both out loud and in her head. "Which we do need to get soon."
She stood up from her seat and stretched. Rosalyn grinned as she watched the children. They were so attuned to each other it was uncanny. She moved and sat down next to her daughter. She had missed a lot of years with her, but that didn't change the fact that they were closer than ever. ~~~~~~ Amelia continued to play the piano, going to another piece of Beethoven's when she finished the first. It had been way too long since she had played.

Kasumi smirked as she whistled, amused. "Hey, I'm fine for the moment. I'll admit, some of the things I've eaten in the past few weeks are... well, strange," she said with a giggle.
Naruto knelt next to Merida, a soft emerald aura flickering and swirling around his fingers as he gently rubbed Merida's temples, uncaring of his own body's desires, though he knew Merida knew that simply seeing her was enough to arouse him.

Merrick smiled slightly. "Too true; if this ball of chaos is anything like either of us... any demon that shows up is going to go home with his own arm up his bum, if he's lucky," he said, carefully restraining himself from the more... blunt.... choice of words.
Lorcan smirked slightly. "We'll get them in time, love. Sally had never said if there was a particular time limit to gather them," he murmured, referring to the chipmunk-girl they'd met several times since a few months previous.

Jin paused, noticing an amber and ivory necklace. He swiftly paid for it and thought Rosalyn would like it. Kÿos looked amused at Amelia's content facial expression, though he doubted she realized that he was awake. He didn't say anything, but quietly walked into the kitchen and started cooking a small traditional meal, making some mantou rolls as a side dish and using a blend of honey and condensed milk as a dipping sauce.

Sren-Ko laughed as he pushed off, his dense muscles creating a slight dent in the floor as he flipped acrobatically, his fingers touching the ball and letting him flip, landing in a crouch with the ball just over his head.

"Yeah we are both eating some rather strange things for sure," Carolyn said as she fixed up her plate. When she was done she put everything back. "At least we haven't been getting any strange looks as everyone else seems to be in the same predicament."~~~~~ Merida looked at Naruto with a smile as he rubbed her temples. Already the headache was going away. She sighed softly. "Thank you," she said softly. On of her hands rested lightly on his leg. ~~~~~ Constance chuckled softly at how Sren-Ko caught the ball and Lorelei seemed extremely pleased about it. Already the three kids were extremely close. Sren-Ko and Tasuil already looked out for little Lorelei. Lorelei giggled and clapped her hands as Sren-Ko caught the ball and landed on the couch. She got to her feet and bounced up and down lightly on the couch. Cassandra walked over to where Lorcan sat and sat down next to him. They had stopped looking for the gems because recently she had felt very sick. But that had passed quickly. "Have I told you today how much I love you?"Rosalyn leaned back against the couch as she watched the children. "I am sure they will be a bit of a handful as they get older, but it is no matter. All children must have their fun. With all of us around they will be well looked after."
~~~~~ Amelia stopped playing when she smelled the food. She got up and went to the kitchen, finding Kyos there. "I thought you were still asleep. I didn't wake you, did I?" She leaned in the doorway as she watched him.

Kasumi laughed. "Tell me about it. Who would eat bananas dipped in honey and sour cream?" she said with a tilt of her head; she knew that it was a very strange desire for flavors, but when it came to cravings... they usually tended to be strange.
Naruto chuckled. "Trust me, if you knew how long it took me... to learn to use even the most basic medical techniques... it took me close to three thousand clones working chakra control for fourteen hours a day, six days a week, for easily five years before it was at a level where I could learn Iryō-seinin techniques," he said softly. What he wasn't revealing was that he had been doing roughly sixty five years of training every week to learn the skills he had now.

Merrick chuckled at Lorelei's reaction, amused.
Lorcan laughed softly. "No, but you show me how much you do in other ways, and I don't just mean in bed... but with every look, smile, and laugh," he murmured, teasing Cassandra.

Jin smirked as he slipped into the safe house, hearing the giggling of Constance's daughter. Kÿos laughed softly as he half turned, seeing Amelia's amused expression. "No, my stomach did that, though your talent for music is one that is rare, just like your love for it. I've only met a few who loved music that way," he said quietly, half teasing her as he himself was extremely fond of music as well.

Carolyn laughed softly. She remembered the first time Kasumi had suggested that mix. She herself had been weirded out by it at first, but then she had tried it. It was one of her favorite snacks. "I guess it could be worse."~~~~~ Merida raised an eyebrow slightly but didn't say anything. After several more minutes she shifted in her spot. "I know we just got up, but I think I want to go back to bed for a little while." She gave him a small grin. ~~~~~ Lorelei turned when she heard her father's chuckle. With a twinkle in her eye she launched herself at him, arms wrapping around his neck in a hug. Already she was a daddy's girl. It didn't take anyone long to realize that. Constance laughed as Lorelei jumped at Merrick, arms wrapping around him. She was glad that they had such happy children, and they did love their father very much. She couldn't ask for anything more. "I think it's close to time to get something to eat for these little ones."Rosalyn stood up. "I'll get it. You guys stay here, let the children play." She walked over and ruffled Sren-Ko's hair. "Be good little man." She turned and walked from the room. Cassandra grinned at Lorcan and nudged him slightly. They had such an easygoing relationship. She was lucky to have him. Just then her stomach growled and she laughed out loud. "I think someone is hungry." She rubbed her stomach. ~~~~~~ Amelia chuckled as she walked further into the kitchen, standing next to Kyos. "Classical music is the most soothing kind of music. Despite his hearing loss, Beethoven was an amazing and talented composer. Mozart was also an amazing composer. If he had not died when he did he would have become greater I am sure."

Kasumi shrugged. "I still remember some of the things a certain redhead tended to lean towards the past couple of months," she said with a giggle, referring to Merida. She remembered when the woman had suggested trying Brussels sprouts with molasses and pimento cheese. "Some of the suggestions she's come up with for her cravings... are just strange, which says a lot considering what Naru-kun and I grew up dealing with," she said with a slight shrug.
Naruto cocked an eyebrow slightly, amused. "And do what, sleep? I was hoping to give you a full body massage," he said, teasing Merida, seeing her blush slightly in response.

Merrick caught his daughter, trailing his fingers through his daughter's silky steel silver hair. "You're such a beauty, you know that... just as adorable and breathtaking as your mother," he murmured, deliberately pitching his voice just loud enough for Constance to hear him.
Lorcan smirked ever so slightly. "Hmmm, what to fix to eat," he teased.

Jin cocked an eyebrow as Rosalyn came out of the sitting room, looking amused before she looked surprised as he smirked. He shifted the bag at his hip, fairly sure she'd notice the store logo on it. Kÿos chuckled a little as he shifted the mantou rolls onto a plate along with the chicken and rice. "I know what you mean. Maybe after we eat, I can show you a little something of mine," he said with mild amusement.

Carolyn smirked and nodded. Merida hadn't actually come out yet and say she was pregnant, but everyone knew. The odd cravings and sudden nausea. "She does have some pretty funky ideas." As she stood there talking with Kasumi she quickly devoured the food that she had pulled out. This wold keep her full for at least a little while. ~~~~~ Merida's cheeks had flushed and she laughed softly, low in her throat. "I would love a body massage. Perhaps I could return the favor." She ran her hand up and down his leg lightly, a feather like touch. ~~~~~~ Lorelei snuggled into her father, resting her head on his shoulder. She turned her head slightly to watch Sren-Ko. Constance smiled widely, her cheeks flushed. Merrick always knew the right things to say. The sweetest things to say. "I fall more in love with you every day."Rosalyn chuckled as she looked at Sren-Ko. "Never my little boy." She turned and left the room. When she did she caught sight of Jin. A smile spread across her face. "There you are." Her gaze flickered to the bag at his hip. She raised an eyebrow slightly as she walked up to him. "I am going to get some food for the kids. Come with me?"~~~~~ Amelia laughed softly. "Well you had better hurry up with that food so you can show me," she said as she ran her fingers lightly over his arm. She felt the goosebumps popping up on his flesh.

Kasumi shrugged, mildly amused. "Well, we can definitely say that the darkness.... will have a rough time," she said with a grin as she tilted her head, nibbling on the molasses-peach flavored dango that she knew they kept well stocked after that first month.
Naruto blushed slightly, shivering at Merida's touch. A very faint smile crossed his lips as he shrugged. "That's up to you, if you want to. I won't resist if you feel like doing that, though," he said quietly. "It's amazing that she makes me blush more than a sunset at twilight... and more often than Hinata ever did, which says a lot," he thought, absently murmuring the thought to Merida; he knew she knew of Hinata, who in many ways had been his first love, though... not quite his soulmate.

Merrick saw Constance's grin and the flush in her cheeks. "As do I with you... the hard part isn't falling in love with you... it's falling out of love with you. A blind man would have a better chance of finding his way through Daedalus' labyrinth than I would of falling out of love with you," he murmured, teasing Constance.

Jin shrugged. "I don't see why not," he said with mild amusement, noticing her inquisitive look as she shifted slightly, obviously trying to see into the bag, although it was filled with crumpled tissue paper which hid the contents. Kÿos cocked an eyebrow slightly, amused as he shifted slightly before he heard four sets of footfalls. He didn't look their way, however, although he was well aware of who it was: Rosalyn and her lover as well as Cassandra and her lover. "Hurry up, eh? You weren't telling me to hurry last night," he teased, seeing her cheeks flush. He had deliberately fixed enough rolls and food for easily twenty people, including themselves. He fixed a couple of plates of food for himself and Amelia, a very faint smile playing at the corners of his lips.

Sren-Ko tilted his head a little, the year and two month old toddler extremely intelligent for his age, easily as cunning as a six or seven year old but thankfully nowhere near as hyper.

"An extremely rough time," Carolyn agreed as she took the dirty dishes to the sink. The people who worked in the kitchen were off for the day so it was pretty quiet. She quickly washed the dishes and put them away. ~~~~~ Merida couldn't help but smile even more widely. She never tired of the fact that she could make Naruto blush and shiver as he did. She leaned forward and kissed him gently, her fingers brushing lightly over the back of his neck. She rested her forehead against his when she heard his thoughts in her head. "I love...that I can make you feel this way."~~~~~ Constance only smiled as she sat close to Merrick. She reached out and touched his cheek gently for a brief moment before running a hand through her daughter's hair. Lorelei had such beautiful hair already. Lorelei giggled as Constance got closer. "Momma, Daddy...love." She snuggled close to Merrick and reached out, touching her mother's hand. ~~~~~ Rosalyn walked quietly with Jin to the kitchen. She knew that Cassandra and Lorcan were right behind them. She remembered well what it was like to be pregnant. You always seemed to be hungry. She sniffed the air as they got closer to the kitchen. Apparently somebody was already in there cooking. She smiled when she entered and saw Kyos and Amelia. "Good morning," she said. Amelia turned when the others entered the kitchen. She grinned at them. "Good morning everyone. There is plenty of food if you are hungry." She motioned the food that Kyos had made. Cassandra took a deep breath of the good smelling food. "It all smells so good."

Kasumi trailed the tips of her fingers up and down Carolyn's back lightly, knowing she loved it.
Naruto laughed softly. "Hinata... was my first... but you... will be my last," he said softly.

Merrick laughed softly. "I love all of you," he murmured.
Lorcan was mildly amused at Cassandra's reaction.

Jin smirked slightly as Kyos half turned, flicking the spatula in greeting. He paused just behind Rosalyn, the only sign he was up to something being a very soft rustling as he pulled out the long, narrow box and slipped it into Rosalyn's fingers. Kÿos shrugged as he set down the spatula. "I decided to go with some traditional Chinese; one of the teachers I had... was an ancient Chinese samurai probably... five or six thousand years older than Atlantis... which I'd say is roughly seventeen thousand years ago now," he said with a shrug.

Carolyn shivered as Kasumi's fingers ran up and down her back. It sent the most delightful feeling through her body. She looked over her shoulder at Kasumi with a grin. "I say we go and hole up in our room for a little while after this..." She stopped, frowning when she felt a surge of demonic energy directed at the safe house. "Or maybe not..."
~~~~~ At his words Merida's heart seemed to melt. She didn't think it was possible to love this man anymore than she already did, but she was wrong. She found that she loved him more and more everyday. She had pulled him close for another kiss when she felt it. A great surge of demon energy that made her gasp. ~~~~~ Constance smiled, opening her mouth to speak, when she felt the rush of energy. It was pure evil and coming at them. She looked at Merrick over their daughter's head. She knew without a doubt that the time had come. He had finally come, fed up with everyone elses' failures. ~~~~~~ Rosalyn looked down as Jin slipped something into her hand. It was a long, narrow box. With a smile she opened it. Her eyes widened when she saw what was inside of it. "Jin...it's beautiful," she said softly. She went to take it out of the box when she felt a sharp pain in her stomach. She gasped and doubled over. A voice sounded in her head, one that she didn't care to ever hear from again. Only one person could make her feel this way...her father had come. Her eyes drifted up when she heard Amelia speak to her. "He's...he's here....my father..."Amelia moved from her spot quickly as Rosalyn doubled over. She felt the pain coursing through the other woman. "Rosalyn...what is it?" She straightened up quickly, her face going pale. She had always known this day would come, but so soon? She looked around at the other women in the room. "Well....Too bad for him he decided to come at this time. A witch is more powerful during her pregnancy...."Cassandra let out a deep breath when she heard Rosalyn's words. "This is not going to be a pretty fight..." She rested her hand on her stomach.

Kasumi smirked as she saw Carolyn's grin before her gaze snapped to the right, outside the window where, to her senses, a shadow of darkness seemed to cling to the street.
Naruto smiled as Merida pulled him closer before his eyes widened slightly before a feral smirk crossed his face as he felt adrenaline dumping into his body at the instinctive urge to fight. "Hmm, he is claimed to be the 'strongest of the demons', hai? He's barely two thirds of my father's strength... and probably four-fifths of my full strength," he whispered to Merida, vaguely amused.

Merrick grunted slightly as he felt the impact of the demonic energy as his irises, instinctively reacting to the demonic energy, flared a brilliant glowing amber. "`Bout time he pulled his head out of his bum and grew a pair... however small they are," he deadpanned with a smirk.
Lorcan shifted his weight. "I doubt he knows we have more than a few traps set up, and..." he whispered as in a quartet of flares of pale prismatic light, the other gemstones they'd been tasked to find materialized, leaving only one for them to find after this little brawl. He blinked, sensing a responding pulse from the demonic energy that was slight, but noticeable. "So... that's why he's stronger... he has the last one," he whispered to Cassandra.

Jin snored sarcastically, showing how much of a threat he found the elder demon. "He's a b***h," he muttered. Kÿos yawned, closing one eye; the demon was strong, undoubtedly... but compared to him.... not really a threat.

Mai landed lightly, lightning arcing over her skin as the sky darkened overhead, looking unimpressed. She wore black boots that stopped just beneath her knees and tight purple pants that showed the muscle beneath; she wore a white belt and an armored vest lacquered a deep crimson with a black bodysuit beneath it. "Pah... you think you are strong? The only reason you are strong is because of your little 'web' which I tore to shreds," she said with a smirk, golden fire hovering over her skin.
Sren-Ko frowned, his eyes snapping to his left as the demonic energy flared; he didn't realize that his irises were glowing a hot red, as were the immediate veins around his eyes.
