Meiko silently entered the hall, walking to her table and sitting with her fellow half-breeds/bloods. She ate there quietly with the feeling of anxiety in her chest. "I haven't encountered anything unusual yet, considering that I'm always dozing off... but something just doesn't seem right." She thought, gazing around her surroundings.

Sparrow entered the Great Hall to see a few people scattered around. She remembered the new decree and wondered if that applied here as well. it kind of looked like it did, but Sparrow didn't care. She would sit wherever she wanted. Today it just so happened she wanted to eat alone. She had to sort through all the events that have occurred and try to make something of it, and for that she needed peace. She made her way over to an area that was empty and sat down. She piled food onto her plate and filled her goblet. Sparrow then slowly began to eat while contemplating what was going on.
((Is it sad that I had to go to Sparrow's profile to remember her blood status?? sweatdrop ))

Ayamae stomped into the hall in the nastiest mood she'd been in in a VERY long time. She was totally disgusted with all this half-blood/pureblood/muggleborn nonsense that this Desdemona was pushing on everyone. She stalked up to the high table, took her usual seat, put her boots up on the table, pulled out her flask, and inhaled some firewhiskey. She didn't feel much like eating, but she wanted some liquid courage to help her along. She damned sure wasn't going to take this crap lying down. Her favorite cousin had died here, defending the rights of muggleborns and half-bloods. She wouldn't let her sacrifice be in vain.

Desdemona entered the Great Hall, her thick robes billowing behind her. She had left the headmistress' office quietly, so as not to wake the sleeping pet on the stone floor. Her yellow eyes searching the large room, she realized that despite her efforts, the purebloods and the mudbloods were still mixing.
"Hmph!" she uttered, disgusted. What would it take to get these children to see the errors of their ways?

Ayamae's eyes came to rest on Desdemona as she entered the hall, and her hand began to inch uncomfortably toward her wand. The woman would NOT be harming a student. Not in front of her.

She looked her over, ready to apologize, but something, some voice in the back of her mind, told her not to. Was this the 'Desdemona' everyone was talking about? Hm. He had given up searching for Al, she had truly gave him the slip, and as much as he wanted to keep looking for her, he was starving. He had barely eaten any breakfast this morning and missed lunch all together. So it was time for him to get some food in him and get his strength back to max. As he walked into the Great Hall his eyes immediately fell on Desdemona. His mind started to race, trying to figure out what she had planned. It was clear that the students were not going to segregate themselves via there "blood status," and that had to be pissing her off. However she wouldn't dare be stupid enough to attack students with the other Professor's watching. Although part of him kinda hoped that she would be that stupid, it would give him a reason to pull his wand out and curse this b***h into oblivion where she stood. As he slowly walked down the main isle toward the High Table, his hand slipped down toward his wand, just in case. He had eyes fixed on Desdemona daring her to try anything.

Al ran into the great hall, and her eyes found Professor R. She ran up to him, her eyes wide, she needed to tell him what she heard in the office today. Then, out of the corner of her eye, she saw her. Desdemona. She had run up straight in front of Professor Reynolds and mouthed the words "Mom...office...laugh.." but shut her mouth when she thought she saw Desdemona see the look on her face. She blushed a deep red, and walked over to the gryffindor table as if nothing had happened.

Well it now seems that Kenneth didn't have to track down Al after all, she had just come running into the Great Hall and straight up to him. However he had his full attention on Desdemona and didn't catch what she was trying to tell him before she quickly went quite and dashed off toward the Gryffindor Table. He'd find out what she want to tell him later, at the moment he was keeping his eye on the bigger prize.
Instead of taking his normal seat just in front of the house hourglass's he sat down next to Aya, who was clearly not happy to see Desdemona in the great hall either, and removed his wand from its holster and waited.

Desdemona chuckled dangerously. Oh, this girl had nerve. But then again, she was a brainless Gryffindor. "Oh, I hardly think I should introduce myself when you know very well who I am," she smirked and dangerously waved her wand.
"What is your pedigree, Miss Ravenwood, if I may be so bold?" The deadly look in Desdemona's eyes showed this was not a request.
She waved Rose away, indicating she was not welcome in this conversation.
